There was a specific mention in one of the updates that we don't have all that much cash left, we're paying Kyouko a fairly substantial amount per training session, our expenses have increased in the last couple days as we're paying for one prisoner and two refugees, and we're going to be putting a psychologist on retainer soon. I don't think that particle size has anything to do with wavelength(?) (since most waves are massively larger than the particles that emit them? I think size is more important when receiving than emitting?), but in any case magic probably fills in the gaps.

This reminds me we still haven't decked ourselves in Speckled Enchantments... that's something to remember doing next time we got lots of idle time.
We still haven't tested their limits, so don't know whether we can make Speckled Enchants that'd create gravitational effects... not sure what sort of gravitational effect we'd want to create, either.

We might need to consult with Mami about what sort of effects enchantments can pull off. I figure Speckleed Enchants might be much more limited in effect than Witchy Stuff.
The good thing is we might be able to keep Speckled Enchants indefinitely, as long as they're within our range, and they might have too little Grief to be felt by the killthewitch meguca radars.
So I guess... we want to make some Speckled Enchants that would be generally useful any time, to keep around permanently (if we could, say, make a toggleable Privacy Field, that's be neat), and then keep moulding Grief to quickly make Witchy stuff when necessary.
