Does Kyouko know about walpurgisnatch? we could tell her that we don't know what Nakano is talking about, but if she still feels indebted to us helping Sayaka be prepared enough for when walmart comes, and letting her copy Yuma's power will be enough to call it even; of course stating we don't expect her to help agaisnt wally.

We could also tell her, instead of directly asking her to renconciliate with Mami, that we don't expect anything from her in exchange, that we help her because she used to be Mami's friend and that's what they would do for eachother if circumstances were different.

Madoka, duh.

This could be a good chance to get Yuma into school, actually. School is important for a child's social and intellectual development. Something tells me she ain't been since Kyouko picked her up.

Or we could just tell her we want to buy her as extra muscle in case some girls start acting up in our territory whenever we're not around.
And Homura is Madoka's.

But then who is Homura's?!

Could it be...?

:o

Well, does she know about Walpurgisnacht already? I forget.

We could ask her to confirm participation in that fight. Help fight off so the church doesn't get destroyed, too (maybe check the path of destruction with Homura)

BTW, month old post reply.

We know that a mysterious unknown blonde guca with green eyes apparently kills Oriko without leaving any marks on her body in some futures. That might be Riona.

I don't think the blonde/greeneyes meguca is described as killing Oriko without leaving marks.

This:
"Alright," you say. "How does it happen, generally?"

"Soul Gem, rarely," Oriko says "Sometimes, the feathers." She makes a little gesture with her hand, holding up her clenched fist before suddenly snapping it open, fingers spread. "You must realise, I don't see every outcome. Merely some possible ones."
... Is from the same post as this:
"Alright," you say, biting your lip. You don't exactly like seeing them in distress, but the only weapon you can wield right now is information, so you'll scrabble for every bit of it you can. "Can you describe the enemy magical girl? It's a long shot, but maybe I'll recognize her?"

Oriko grimaces. "You must understand, if it's a magical girl, then it happens... early. But of the already few times that it is a magical girl... many times, it's Akemi Homura. Other times, Miki Sayaka. Seldom, it's a blonde magical girl with long hair, and green eyes."
Which Phoenixian quoted somewhat recently.
Riona is mentioned in the context of someone who can help. And given that she describes Riona completely differently, and that we already have a candidate for "long blonde haired, green eyed girl" it might be worth looking whether how Oriko has talked about Rin before, but otherwise over I'm pretty inclined to apply Occam's Razor here.

[] Kyouko.

[] Telepathy Nadia, ask for a physical description of Riona.

[] Sayaka.
-[] Reconfirm Riona's appearance.
-[] Send her to train with Kyouko but send her with some cookies or something.
--[] And make sure she understands taking care of Kyouko and Yuma is now her responsibility.

[] Pick up your Mami the Mami that owns you.
-[] Be surprised about surprise!

"Fucking shit," Kyouko snarls at you. "The hell do I owe you?"

"Nothing at all," you say, propping your arm on the side of the bench. "I... take it Miss Nakano was able to pull some strings?"

"Fuck," Kyouko hisses. "Dammit. Dammit, I owe you. You and her, but she says you're footing her part on this."
So something happened, good!

It seems like we really proved trustfulness to Kyouko, somebody to be close but not too close (that's only for Yuma)

Also note that Kyouko should definitely consider moving in and turning the church into a base of operations. It'll be good for her to have a home base.
Fixed.

[] Kyouko
- [] Mami misses her friend.

Just a thought.
It's a good idea. Not now though. Let both Mami and Kyouko find their center first.

On Kyouko:

We shouldn't shrug off her going about 'owing us'. Kyouko is a lone wolf guca and had probably resigned herself to not being able to do anything about the Church. To have the situation actually solved and by someone else's hands (worse! Someone else's someone else's hand!) must really... really irk her.

So we should find a way she can repay us. Unless we want to hold this over her head. :thonk:

I think asking Kyouko an honest shot to mend bridges with Mami is a good idea. I just don't think now is a good moment.

Otherwise, if we don't say anythink Kyouko may decide to join Sabrina for the Walpurgisnach fight as her form of "payment"... and I'm ok with that too.

We should ask Kyuoko to bring Yuma to school after things have blown over; and spend more resources in training Sayaka, whatever that means. Let's not ask her to join us in fighting the megawitch; she can join of her own conscience and volition, and its against our own compass to force such a task on anyone.

Well, of course it is-

... Actually... is it? I mean, she can do tricks with the cape and all... but if someone tugs at her cape, does it detach to avoid, well, that sort of thing?

'meguca files' Sayaka surely has that :V, but I can't find anything about it in the story thread, other than the fact we tugged Sayaka over by the cape that one time we wanted to talk tactics during practice.

We tried it in a spar against Sayaka, if I recall, and the cape just detached cleanly.

That's what I was looking for... since you also remember that, it must mean I'm not imagining things.

That means I need to search again. :V

...

Ah. It was Kyouko who did it. And then Sayaka detached the cape the second time.

Kyouko rolls with the punch. She drops into a handspring and kick that catches the edge of Sayaka's cape with a foot and she twists to yank Sayaka into a stumble and then Kyouko has her spear swinging like an axe at Sayaka's head-

There's a chime of steel, a pure note singing out as Kyouko's spear shears right through Sayaka's swords. Sayaka plummets for all of a split second before Kyouko staples her to the tree with a spear through the cape.

A flash of a grin, and the cape breaks away. "Not pulling that on me again!" she crows, new sword forming in her hand as she drops.

If it would be possible, I'd like Sayaka to have the detachableness integrated into her cape; as it is, I think she needs to watch out for it and detach it consciously.

Capes are cool. Almost as cool as unbuttoned trenchcoats.
"No way. Capes are much cooler."

*Poses with cape fluttering behind her*

"Nope. Trenchcoats are better."

*Poses with coat failing to flutter*

"See? Capes are way cooler."

"As your senpai, I say coats are the cooler pieces of clothing."

"You might be my senpai in being meguca, but not in fashion. Dork."

"Mami, tell her I'm right."

"..."

*Faraway look*

"Mami?"

*Grabs Sabrina, takes away coat, makes a cape out of Ribbons and puts it on Sabrina*

It looks tacky as hell.

*Blushes*

"Sabrina is cooler."

*Hugs Sabrina*

"Ha! She picked capes over coats!"

"Yes Sayaka you win well done."

*'eeeeeeeeee's internally while returning hugs*

u disappoint me, onmarble

Sayaka leaps back, white cape swirling around her.

Cape.

You stomp on the edge of the white cloth, trapping it against the concrete.

There's a faint tug, and Sayaka pulls free, the cloak snapping off at her shoulders. Her eyes widen, and she hops back, holding up both gloved hands. "Hey hey hey," she complains. "My cape?"
