Sabrina intentionally keeps it away from people. Because getting nanometer-resolution full-body scans of people is squicky.

Sabrina has total control and awareness of her Grief. People can't inhale it unless Sabrina wants them to.
Okay, that explains why Sabrina doesn't do that but it also doesn't mean that she couldn't. It's an idea to keep in mind if talking to somebody truly dangerous and unstable. Stealthily fill them with grief while talking, then take them down instantly if things go bad. I'm not saying we should do this all the time or anything, it's just something to keep in mind if we really need to do it.

Yeah, it's something she could do if she chose to.

A) Perfect tracking, even if they teleport. It's not like people leave the oxygen in their blood behind when they teleport, so they should take the grief particles with them too.
B) Puppet people, blood bending style. Once the grief has reached a certain saturation point, controlling it all should affect the body in someway.
C) Insta-kills, or insta-maiming at least. The grief is already inside of them, so just form it into a spike going through their heart or brain. Or decapitate people by forming a disk of grief in their neck. Useful for enemies that just won't sit still.
In regards to A, it could go either way - sure, they don't leave the oxygen in their blood behind, but the Grief is, in effect, ourselves. So it may lead to dragging us along, canceling the teleport, or just leaving the Grief there too. And of course, even if it takes the Grief along, if the teleporter leaves our range the grief dissipates, with unknown consequences. For that matter, it would only really add precision in terms of meguca tracking, as we can seek their Soul Gem. Muggles would be the most useful targets, save for the fact that they aren't really much of an issue normally, and Witches are likely immune by dint of being made of it to begin with.

In the case of B, that would require a fair bit of practice to avoid turning into C, and of rather niche usefulness even then.
As for C, certainly doable and a plausibly useful precision version of the cloud of blades.

So yes, certainly things we could plausibly do. Not things we would do lightly, and the most likely to be used is also the least certain one.

I think this might be the single longest update I've written for PMAS. Hope it was worth the wait, and I'll happily take criticism on the fight scene in particular - I personally feel it could have been improved, but I wanted to get it out. So I'd love everyones' thoughts on it, if you have any!
Since I forgot to reply to this earlier....

I thought the fight scene was really good. Much like the Sendai fight, it had a very stream-of-consciousness feel, which fits since we're experiencing it from Sabrina's perspective and it's hectic and overwhelming. Lots of interesting and creative uses of their powers. And a pretty epic scale.

So question, and I apologize in advance if this was already brought up. But when we tried to make an enchantment, I noticed the attempt was to try and make something that did something along the lines of 'cleansing grief'. But from what I've noticed grief doesn't actually get cleansed. It's just absorbed by the grief seeds. Would it be possible to enchant an item to absorb grief?

OH MY MADOKAMI I KILLED HIM
Don't worry. There's more where he came form. You won't even notice the difference.

Unless we really want to pay them more for their services, I don't think there's any reason to continue to haggle here. Since we're going back anyway and, if Sakura's fine with it, we could just take Yuki back to Mitakihara with us and have the meeting. @Firnagzen how late is it? Would the others be out of school by the time we get back?

"Ah. The same technique that I use for teleporting," Yuki says, nodding. "It's a trick of folding space within a zone I claim, but it's harder to use. It's the basis for the microwave room as well - I have another room full of stored sunligh."

"Stored sunlight... you mean you teleport sunshine from the roof and keep it in a room?" you ask, blinking.

"In a word, yes," Yuki says, shrugging.
So, besides the fact this comboes with Moe's powers in pretty much the exact way Sasami's does...

Who wants to help Yuki collect more ammunition to throw at Walpurgisnacht?

Okay, new plan:

  1. Generate energy levels around that of the Big Bang
  2. Stuff it all into a stadium
  3. When Wailuigi-Nacht comes around, stuff her in that stadium
  4. Launch the whole thing into orbit so everyone doesn't die of radiation poisoning

I kinda wish we could make a Barrier to haul around some of the junk we've been collecting. I mean, I know why we haven't (time sink, Mami's trauma, highly detectable, bad PR) but I just thought about how it would be a nice upgrade for the Arc-en-Ciel/L.U.V.B.O.A.T/ MOF/whatever we're calling it now, giving it a cockpit that doesn't have to worry about G-Forces, Inertia, or Cabin Size.

Also, I wonder if Yuki could make Mt. Shinobu a magical girl with either Yuuri's, Niko's, or Hijiri's help. If one of those girls made a clone, could Yuki stuff enough magic into the body to create a mountain spirit friend? I'd imagine that Mt. Shinobu would be a very traditional girl who's stubborn, works as a part-time shrine maiden in her own Temple, rather tall, and is quiet.
Aside from those listed reasons wasn't experimenting with Barriers how we got the Feather in the first place? Which itself raises all kinds of alarms.

Regarding who is the strongest Puella between Sabrina and her friends, excluding Godess Madoka and Devil Homura,

There's a version of Homura (14th strongest Homura across all the known universes) who punched Walpurgisnacht to death. Albeit it was a spin off.

the head is usually the first thing you put armor on.
Yes, but that's for people for whom the head is actually useful :V
Did we just level the building? Nice.
Nah, just smashed a basketball court-sized ceiling-to-basement hole.
Also, @Firnagzen, I notice that pretty much everything we voted to use, except energy emission, ended up being directly used in the spar, including the armor and the feinting with grief. Are we predictable, or how much did the details of our vote affect the outcome?
A bit of column A, a bit of column B. The tactics suggested in the vote are all logical extensions of what Sabrina can do, after all.

This.
Um, it's not mentioned but the notebook is there right? We didn't screw up and forget about it right?
And the Feather? I wouldn't discount it just, disappearing, because we didn't keep an eye on it.
They're in the cloud, along with, yes, the rifle. Just not in Sabrina's bag.
