>his bears live in the ocean, waiting to ambush passers-by
You're Australian, aren't you?
Well lookie here, if it isn't @Always Happening with his "Land Bears" and "Safe Water". What, you think you're too good for us just because we have Sea Bears? :p

Bears are land animals.
I'll have you know that bears are amphibious!

Besides, it actually fits. Sabrina is so much of an ocp for other meguca that she would have to be either a land animal or a deep sea fish, and she's to cute too be a deep sea fish.

Right, so thoughts on timestop in a privacy sphere... I'll be honest there's not much advantage to it. Anything timestop gains from putting it inside a privacy sphere it loses from the windup time, and from the privacy sphere's glaring obviousness. (Or, if you like, Vantablack obviousness.) Plus there's not exactly much we haven't openly discussed in timestop at this point, so if it can be breached, it likely has been.

It is worth making a privacy sphere for teaching and afterwards purposes, but the two methods don't fit naturally together.

[X] It's not urgent. You can wait to enlighten them until Madoka is free of distraction.
- [X] Ask about metabombing Sayaka and Hitomi
- [X] You don't feel good about keeping it a secret. And you feel Sayaka would be angry at you for keeping secrets again.
- [X] Now is an opportune time to do it because we're all here, but you'd like to do it ASAP regardless.
- [X] Ask if Homura would rather we use a privacy sphere, given her power & Sayaka's copying.

[x] Before the TS ends, make sure Homura's holding up alright.

[X] Metabomb, if agreed. Make sure everyone involved knows to how to keep this a secret.
[x] Talk to Sayaka privately. You've been wondering if she's been hit by a similar, if perhaps less conscious, version of your metaknowledge. Offer to see if you can jog her memory.

As much as I like the idea of Mikiel, so far as I can tell, most of the real support for Rebellion stuff from Sayaka's side of things is her powerset. I'd rather not bank on it. On the other hand, to my recollection, today is the third time she's tried to preempt a problem that showed up in canon.

Sayaka had Mami's cellphone before the Gertrude fight. In canon she and Madoka lacked it during Episode two, and if either of them had had it Mami might well have reached Charlotte before the grief seed hatched and handled things trivially.
There's a specific note that Sayaka doesn't have a music player during one of the times when she meets Kyousuke. Said music player also causes a fight between them, as it reminds Kyousuke of his infirmity.
And today, around the day that Hitomi would have given her ultimatum, Sayaka decides to try and confess to Kyousuke.

There may be more in the story, but that's what I specifically noticed.

[] Another thing: Ask Homura and Sayaka if they'd want Oriko and Kirika out of the city if someone could be found to watch them.

I have no intention of metabombing the Saints just yet. Too soon, too many points of failure. On the other hand, if they know the Kure's role in our intervention, they might be well enough inclined to them to see if we can spirit them away. Honestly, I think getting those two out of the city might be a good solution for all involved. Only necessity is running the idea by Homura, Sayaka, O&K, and the Saints, since they all have a stake in it.

-----------

Bleh, I want to work on this more, but my internet's been so spotty today. At least I can have a version of it out.

Might skip "after the timestop" stuff in the vote entirely in future versions.

I'm not sure I'm comfortable leaving the Kures in Asunaro, what with the shenanigans still slated to go down there and Oriko still expecting to get ganked out of the blue.

Right, so thoughts on timestop in a privacy sphere... I'll be honest there's not much advantage to it.
Kyuubey not knowing how long the conversation was is a bonus.

On the third hand, Mami knowing Kazumi points to a more general cause than Sayaka being an angel. Madoka's wish giving us easy mode, for example.

  • Saves time - Conversations in PMAS seem to take at minimum 45 minutes even if it's just "Doing good? Yup. You? Yup. 'Kay. See ya.".
  • Screws with Kyubey - Can't tell how long we've been talking, now with added privacy sphere fuckery. Granted, he can probably figure it out anyway, I dunno, radiocarbon dating on our shirt or some bullshit, but eh.
  • Superfluous uses of privacy sphere for misdirection are always good.
  • Why not?

Mami knowing Kazumi personally, Homura forgetting about the meaning of her pendulum, no contract yet for Sasa Yuuki or the non-Oriko magical girls of Shirome, Haruka suddenly remembering her childhood friend... Odd timing, new relationships and out of place knowledge has a wealth of room to explore here.

Well for one thing, if you're gonna save time, you make the privacy sphere in the timestop.

On the fourth appendage (eight arms for quadruple the hugs!) , what says it can't be both? Knowing the Saints is the natural variance of timelines, while the Sayaka bits are intentional adjustments. Not sure where Occam falls on this.... its two causes instead of one, but thats two smaller sets of changes rather than one large bunch per cause.

Actually, as I stated before, we want to use the privacy sphere with some frivolousness. It being in timestop is just another added layer of security, which helps obfuscate what we're discussing and for how long.

Kyuubey can't detect what's happening inside the sphere, but there's a lot you can surmise about the inside of something if you know some axioms and know what's happening outside - we "know" what happens inside black holes for much the same reason. It'd be well within Kyuubey's power to log and analyze every ounce of data he can before we enter the sphere and after we leave, and from that deduce something of what's happening inside.

It's not exact, but if we leave with an elevated heart rate and adrenaline in our system every time we exit the sphere, he knows we're having some serious conversations every time we enter the sphere. He may be able to figure out through inference then a general idea of what was discussed. Again, I've suggested that some time tonight we use it for a simple cuddle session with Mami, that way we exit chipper as can be and confuse the fuck out of the rat voyeur.

Plausible deniability. It's why the government says "We can neither confirm nor deny that" even when something happens that they had nothing to do with - that way, it doesn't just become another way of saying yes. Information can be gleaned from a lack of information if you're clever.

Portuguese Man O' War would also fit Sabrina pretty well. Looks like one animal but is actually several different animals working together. Also they're really tall.

Homura forgetting about the meaning of her pendulum

Uh?

Homura trailed off and didn't tell us what her pendulum reminds her of, but that doesn't mean she doesn't remember what it means, just that she didn't feel up to telling us (and Mami) back when our relationship with her was waaaay less established. This was before we ever hugged Homura, remember.

We could ask her again if we ever go to her apartment again.

Ooh, there's an idea. Make sure Homu spends the rest of the loop eating well (or at least better) by going grocery shopping for her and bringing it all back to her apartment. If the deal with the Shizuki's goes through, we should have some extra money since we pay our landlord in snuggles and kisses.
