We'll do them seperately. And I suggest helping the University Group out first.
It's too soon imo. Hold off for now.Um, shouldn't we have them meet up together? Meeting with us is probably the only way we'll get the two groups to talk at all, since we'll be there to chaperone, and getting them to talk is the only long term way to keep them from fighting again, especially if whats-her-name wakes up again.
If we find a Witch Barrier, call Homura and ask her to deal with it, while we keep going? Is voting open yet?? Even if its not a vote should we get an idea for contigencies to help Kuroki in case we find her??
If we find Albertine, Mami would assume Kuroki died fighting the Witch. >_>Worst case is we find her as a witch, of course. But Mami still may not put two and two together - remember the gas lighting conversations a while back? That's probably all that's keeping her from coming to that conclusion already.
And if she is witchbombed, we encase her in grief and gem her. It's definitely not a way we'd like to treat Mami, but if she risks Tetris than it's the most humane way of keeping everyone safe. Yanderebrina can do it.
Wouldn't we get a quick vote break then?
We tell Mami the same thing we told Homura: we show her a Grief Seed, then we show her a Clear Seed, and we remind her that Grief Seeds don't rip Grief from other Grief Seeds but they do rip Grief from Soul Gems.So yes we would break to a vote, I'm trying to work out what we cool do *for* said vote.

Basically rip the bandaid off, tell her what grief seeds and clear seeds really are.Ok this is a literal case of 'I know what those mean on their own but nit when they are put together like that'
I really dont follow.
Basically the implication is that a Clear Seed is closer to a soul gem than the core of a witch. Which is, as far as we know, true, and strongly implies that the addition of another step in the process could de-witch a girl.Ok this is a literal case of 'I know what those mean on their own but nit when they are put together like that'

As far as I can tell, they are parasites, they just devour the soul of the host post-apotheosis. Oktavia didn't react when Madoka and Kyouko called out to it, but Sayaka did.Basically the implication is that a Clear Seed is closer to a soul gem than the core of a witch. Basically, all hope is not lost, just because a girl witches. It's going to be a hellish experience, but there's a chance we may be able to pull them back.
Admittedly, my own understanding was originally that a witch was a parasite that simply impressed the girls soul during or before hatching; that's why Oktavia wouldn't react to Madoka or Kyouko, because it wasn't actually Sayaka but something that used her soul as a blueprint. Sort of like a virus, if they picked genes off the cells they used to multiply. THAT would prevent dewitching, but thankfully that hypothesis no longer makes sense in PMAS and Rebellion made it pretty unlikely in canon as well, since Homura seemed to have her faculties about her when she witched (though IIRC she never fully witched, so it doesn't entirely bin the idea, just make it extremely unlikely).
I entirely agree, but I'm not the one you have to convince. There's a very, very obvious practical issue with that mentality. Like seriously, can't we just call Kyubey to offload grief the next time we step out and go to the bathroom?
I don't think that's how that works. You have to have actually met someone to telepathy them.We should probably try to reach her by telepathy, since we know her name and general location.
It's more that the phone probably wouldn't stay intact for long. And there's probably no recepetion in a pocket dimension.ummmm I doubt witching out would cause the phone to forcely turn off like that.
Mami knows that a girl will die if her gem goes completely dark, even if she doesn't know that they turn into a monster afterwards, so she understands the urgency. But remember going after a girl to keep her from witching out risks witchbombing, on accident, Mami if she wonders or figures out what the time crunch is about.
Homura won't want to leave Madoka, and quite frankly, we don't want her to, either. We talked to Masami and Hiroko about working for us for this exact purpose. Might as well use them.If we find a Witch Barrier, call Homura and ask her to deal with it, while we keep going?

Remember the melty red eyeball thing that happened there? That was the last vestige of Sayaka's immortal soul as it was consumed completely by a living incarnation of despair.
This is also, I believe, why Stand powers can work in the Madokamiverse; the two entities are separated at birth/reconciled with one another by God and cooperate to form a greater whole (given that the Witch is spawned from the psyche of the Magus; if i recall correctly, in TDS Mami is able to hold a brief mental conversation with Candeloro at one point when she nearly despairs). The melty eyeball thing also happened nearly 24 hours after Sayaka's initial Soul Gem failure, meaning there may still be a way to save them shortly after witching out.
