[x] The Narrator
YES. AND WE SHOULD ABSOLUTELY DO IT.... sorry; I might of missed something since I sort of skim the disussions - but did somebody suggest shoving Sayaka into not!Ultramarine power armor?
We could make the power part of the armor by having Mami enchant some artificial muscle fiber. Not sure what we would make the rest out of.We could always make powered armor out of grief and/or ribbons.
Neutronium would be easy to manufacture. We'd just need significant amounts of mass.We could make the power part of the armor by having Mami enchant some artificial muscle fiber. Not sure what we would make the rest out of.
Not very mass to protection efficient.Neutronium would be easy to manufacture. We'd just need significant amounts of mass.
Also it would be a bit heavy.
Stelth via making sure that there isn't anything seen versus "stelth" via making sure that there are to many things to keep track of?Actually, if we're planning on having Sayaka be MAHOUCOP, then the Imperium might be the way to go. They're very flashy and showy, which means everyone sees them, which is usually good for a cop.
On the other hand, Homura and Kyouko, who will be taking our more militant branches, will probably want something sleek and dense. MJOLNIR maybe?

[x] Having Madoka and Homura along to meet with Bennouna sounds great, if they want to come.
[x] For the cleansing trip... maybe once peace has settled in and these trips are routine, but right now we're not quite sure what these girls are like or how it'll go.
[x] While you're thinking about of just-in-case and keeping things safe, ask Homura if she minds holding the fort while the rest of the team is on the cleansing trip.
[x] Give Madoka a brief summary of the Tokyo situation and ask how she thinks we should handle it.
-[x] If you find a chance, pull Homura aside to quietly explain that we're trying to keep her safe - we agree that her coming would be too risky - while making sure she doesn't feel useless or left out.
[x] When the opportunity arises, pull Madoka aside and thank her for last night. Not only was the sleepover nice on its own, the sheer normalcy of it is important. Inviting Sayaka was a particularly good idea; Madoka's a Good Friend.
-[x] Speaking of which, ask Madoka to try to spend some more time with Homura. You're sure she'll appreciate it, and it'd be good for her.

[X] Homura can be a little paranoid, but in this case she's also right. It's our first time going there since the war, and we don't know what to expect. It's only been a week since the fighting stopped in Sendai and Ishinomaki. We need to let peace settle in a bit before it'll safe to take noncombatants there. Maybe in a month when things are a little more stable.
[x] When the opportunity arises, take Madoka aside and thank her for last night. Getting to have a little bit of normalcy away from the madness of the magical girl life meant a lot to us, and it kept Sayaka from nursing a grudge. She was a big help to all of us.
-[x] We can't go into details because we respect her privacy, but we know that Homura has had a really difficult time, suffered a lot of pain and loss, and tends to keep people at a distance. Despite that, she seems to be opening up to Madoka a bit. If Madoka could spend some more time with her, give her an anchor to normal life, we think it could do her a lot of good.

[X] Tell Madoka that you appreciate the thought, but Homura is right. Magical girls often get into fights with one another, and some of them are ruthless enough that they would target non-magical friends. You don't want to put her at risk -- and even if she could handle things in a fight, someone as kind and gentle as her shouldn't ever have to fight someone. It's just not right.
[X] Take Madoka's hands in yours and ask her to trust you to handle this, to trust her friends.

[X] Homura can be a little paranoid, but for the cleansing trip part, she's right. Taking along noncombatants should be safe once peace has settled in and these trips are routine, but that might take a few weeks.
[x] We could meet up with Bennouna as a group, but would Bennouna herself be okay with that? Ask Mami - she knows her best. If she thinks it's fine, then Madoka can come along, if she wants.

-[x] Ask Madoka to spend some time with Homura just doing normal teenage girl things. The details are private, but Homura's probably the worst off of... anybody, really... as far as having a normal life goes. She also seems to be opening up to Madoka a bit, though, so you think just hanging out with her could do a lot of good.

How much do we actually know about the situation in Tokyo? The summary needs to be a bit less brief than "shit's fucked" for her to provide a meaningful contribution.Give Madoka a brief summary of the Tokyo situation and ask how she thinks we should handle it.
There's some giggling that you register sleepily.
"GOOD MORNING, SABRINA!"
That has you nearly levitating out of the mattress, blanket going flying as you flail upright.
Same reaction, grandma confirmed.Halfway down the stairs, you hear a door slamming open, followed by very loud squawking. Junko stumbles out of her bedroom to join the racuous breakfast table a few minutes later.
MIKI SAYAKA, HERO OF THE IMPERIUM!Actually, if we're planning on having Sayaka be MAHOUCOP, then the Imperium might be the way to go. They're very flashy and showy, which means everyone sees them, which is usually good for a cop.
Madoka's friendly. That's not the same thing as being a diplomat. She's way too trusting. Diplomacy requires a degree of mistrust, of being able to see through someone else's façade to their true intentions.[x] That all said, give Madoka a brief summary of the Tokyo situation and ask how she thinks we should handle it. She's better at diplomacy than you are.
It's accurate. And it makes clear that this is a serious matter with genuine danger involved. We don't want Madoka thinking that being an MG is harmless fun like on TV.Thinking about Madoka and combat, even phrasing it as "noncombatants" is a bit iffy.
We made a gun out of a combination of Grief and Mami's ribbons yesterday. It was epic. For that matter we should look into making things using Grief. The precision alone should make it easy to sculpt gun parts out of interesting alloys.
I mean using Grief as a tool to make things into other things. If nothing else i bet we could make a kick ass underground safehouse. We are practically a minecraftian here. If we coulld get Homura in on the plan we could have a inventory while we are at it.We made a gun out of a combination of Grief and Mami's ribbons yesterday. It was epic.
Madoka is smart enough to learn how to be skeptical. We're basically dependent on it, because our next best Face is currently desperately trying to break the rules of both forum and physics on physical contact.Madoka's friendly. People keep ascribing all these strange abilities to Madoka that she doesn't have. She's an ordinary teenager with no particular skills, who knows less about the situation that pretty much everyone else.
Negotiations with other magical girls absolutely doesn't fit into that category, because it's something that she'd think that she could do way better as an MG.We have to make sure Madoka feels like whatever her job is, it's too important to all her friends to just up and drop to go be a magical girl, and it has to be something Puella can't do.
