Your vote is getting too long Sereg.
My vote accomplishes what needs to be accomplished instead of not accomplishing it. Again, I am not using specific statements. I'm just using goals. Shortening it is just going to leave out important stuff.
Unless you want to end earlier which cuts out a whole one line, so I'm not sure how that makes a significant difference.
EDIT:
[X] Continue to be empathetic and calm. Getting mad at Oriko won't help anything. Continue being affectionate toward Mami to keep yourself calm.
Explanation of tone. Important, because otherwise we become aggressive, which is bad. Mami's support is also good.
[X] Offer Oriko hope and support as she deserves them.
Oriko needs hope and support and we should provide it.
[X] Agree that it's difficult to change yourself just by thinking it.
Show common ground and acknowledge her statement. Show we're listening and are here to help and on her side.
[X] Reassure Oriko that you
know it's possible, if difficult, for powers lost from rejecting a wish to come back.
Give her reassurance and hope based on our own knowledge.
[x] Also ask her to at least entertain the possibility that she can become happy in the future. After all, you've changed her predictions before.
Give her a small step to start working on to improve her outlook over time. Give her hope and something to work for., Remind her that our presence means things aren't hopeless despite what she sees.
-[x] So working together gives her the best chance.
Remind her we're on the same side and that if she works with us, we can get what she really wants, so she should continue to work with us.
[X] Furthermore, point out that she doesn't need her powers to be able to help or find the meaning of her life. After all, Kirika wished that she could help Oriko, and the power her wish gave her was
anti-magic.
Remind her that Kirika shows that she needs anti-magic and therefore, not her magic.
[X] Tell her that you, at least, would not be happy if she died.
Show that she has value. Show that her dying makes people unhappy instead of happy, so it's a worse world, not better one.
-[x]Tell her that you believe in her and that you believe she can make people happier alive rather than dead.
Show her that she can find better meaning making more people happy by living.
[x]Assure her that you are on her side and still working to help her.
Remind her that we're working together and are working to help her, so she can look forward to the results and should stick with us.
-[x] Tell her that as evidence you are going to try something right now.
Show her that she can do more than take our word. We will provide evidence.
--[x] Warn of possible trance and witchiness
Preventing freakouts.
--[x] Ask Oriko to remember her visions of Soulguca
Get something to scan
--[x]Use grief to scan Oriko's memories and the internet and to compare them to compile information about Soulguca before creating a dossier about her.
Compare info in her brain to the internet for matches to build up information about her so we know more about her and how best to react to her approach and how best to help Oriko with her.
---[x] Show it to Oriko and discuss it together
Show her that hope is coming and we're working on it. Get ideas for how best to respond.
[X] Ask Oriko and Kirika if there's anything you can get them to help them pass the time (books, games, movies?), then depart and ask Homura for a timestop.
Give them hobbies to aid in their recovery and prepare for the next objective.
Necessity explained.
