Thanks, I get what you mean but it'll still take a bit to get over. I just joined yesterday, dude but I've been a SuperSneakyLurker!™ For like two and a half years

Also I voted but I don't really known what's up.
Oriko got a problem and you guys are fixing it right?

wait i think i get it i mean im talking to you all normal-like arglblargle

Also: It matters not, crippled and caped heroes are that much cooler!

Edit:SpellCheck initiated
Eh, it was the same for me when I first joined. Posted twice, freaked out, vanished for a month. You're doing great.

So I went and looked at my own first posting around here, and found that what I believe what was my first omake was written four and a half months after I joined. :D

Also IIRC, I didn't participate much at first due to not knowing how, rather than out of awkwardness.

Had to go look it up. My first post was August 26 2013. I posted a message to the author of some fanfic that I thought was getting shit on by his critics. My second was September 17th of that year in the ZnT crossover thread. Man, that feels like forever ago.

Tonight we should make a Brinaclone so we can double cuddle the Mami while sleeping.

Then realize the bed is not enough for three.

Unmake clone.

Despair.

Be comforted by Mami.

Perfect plan.

You're doing this wrong. If the bed is too small you apply ribbon until it is sufficiently large.

I regularly talk to Firn about all my weird story ideas, and I try to keep Ugo in check when Mura isn't around to do it. They're just people.

I'm not sure what Moid is, but you're right to be scared, man. Unless you wanna lose several limbs.

They're not just people, Godwinson. They're good people. Like you!

We should have people reading through the thread more often. Checking to see what got rated is a great

Excuse me, I obsessively remember issues involving Mami, including the fact that she still has homework to do tonight. Hypothetical timeslots include in the air OTW to Tokyo, in the air returning from Tokyo, tonight, and tomorrow night. I intend to suggest all possibilities to her, although I hadn't planned to suggest Sunday night, because I'd had other ideas for that, but I am no longer sure that my preexisting plans for Sunday night will pan out or not; it's entirely dependant on how we deal with Asunaro. If we have Mami telepathy Asunaro then my preexisting ideas may be invalidated. Or they might not. Not sure.

I thought we were doing that until Sayaka came over for the talk? Well it's clear we didn't finish.

You are correct on all points.

Eh, it was the same for me when I first joined. Posted twice, freaked out, vanished for a month. You're doing great.

This thread was where I first startd postin as well.

Anyway, I see that Godwinson has us leaving. I cannot support that.

We still need to try checking for Soulguca. That's important.

[X] Continue to be empathetic and calm. Getting mad at Oriko won't help anything. Continue being affectionate toward Mami to keep yourself calm.
[X] Offer Oriko hope and support as she deserves them.
[X] Agree that it's difficult to change yourself just by thinking it.
[X] Reassure Oriko that you know it's possible, if difficult, for powers lost from rejecting a wish to come back.
[x] Also ask her to at least entertain the possibility that she can become happy in the future. After all, you've changed her predictions before.
-[x] So working together gives her the best chance.

[X] Furthermore, point out that she doesn't need her powers to be able to help or find the meaning of her life. After all, Kirika wished that she could help Oriko, and the power her wish gave her was anti-magic.
[X] Tell her that you, at least, would not be happy if she died.
-[x]Tell her that you believe in her and that you believe she can make people happier alive rather than dead.
[x]Assure her that you are on her side and still working to help her.
-[x] Tell her that as evidence you are going to try something right now.
--[x] Warn of possible trance and witchiness
--[x] Ask Oriko to remember her visions of Soulguca
--[x]Use grief to scan Oriko's memories and the internet and to compare them to compile information about Soulguca before creating a dossier about her.
---[x] Show it to Oriko and discuss it together

[X] Ask Oriko and Kirika if there's anything you can get them to help them pass the time (books, games, movies?), then depart and ask Homura for a timestop.

Your vote is getting too long Sereg.
My vote accomplishes what needs to be accomplished instead of not accomplishing it. Again, I am not using specific statements. I'm just using goals. Shortening it is just going to leave out important stuff.

Unless you want to end earlier which cuts out a whole one line, so I'm not sure how that makes a significant difference.

EDIT:

[X] Continue to be empathetic and calm. Getting mad at Oriko won't help anything. Continue being affectionate toward Mami to keep yourself calm.

Explanation of tone. Important, because otherwise we become aggressive, which is bad. Mami's support is also good.

[X] Offer Oriko hope and support as she deserves them.

Oriko needs hope and support and we should provide it.

[X] Agree that it's difficult to change yourself just by thinking it.

Show common ground and acknowledge her statement. Show we're listening and are here to help and on her side.

[X] Reassure Oriko that you know it's possible, if difficult, for powers lost from rejecting a wish to come back.

Give her reassurance and hope based on our own knowledge.

[x] Also ask her to at least entertain the possibility that she can become happy in the future. After all, you've changed her predictions before.

Give her a small step to start working on to improve her outlook over time. Give her hope and something to work for., Remind her that our presence means things aren't hopeless despite what she sees.

-[x] So working together gives her the best chance.

Remind her we're on the same side and that if she works with us, we can get what she really wants, so she should continue to work with us.

[X] Furthermore, point out that she doesn't need her powers to be able to help or find the meaning of her life. After all, Kirika wished that she could help Oriko, and the power her wish gave her was anti-magic.

Remind her that Kirika shows that she needs anti-magic and therefore, not her magic.

[X] Tell her that you, at least, would not be happy if she died.

Show that she has value. Show that her dying makes people unhappy instead of happy, so it's a worse world, not better one.

-[x]Tell her that you believe in her and that you believe she can make people happier alive rather than dead.

Show her that she can find better meaning making more people happy by living.

[x]Assure her that you are on her side and still working to help her.

Remind her that we're working together and are working to help her, so she can look forward to the results and should stick with us.

-[x] Tell her that as evidence you are going to try something right now.

Show her that she can do more than take our word. We will provide evidence.

--[x] Warn of possible trance and witchiness

Preventing freakouts.

--[x] Ask Oriko to remember her visions of Soulguca

Get something to scan

--[x]Use grief to scan Oriko's memories and the internet and to compare them to compile information about Soulguca before creating a dossier about her.

Compare info in her brain to the internet for matches to build up information about her so we know more about her and how best to react to her approach and how best to help Oriko with her.

---[x] Show it to Oriko and discuss it together

Show her that hope is coming and we're working on it. Get ideas for how best to respond.

[X] Ask Oriko and Kirika if there's anything you can get them to help them pass the time (books, games, movies?), then depart and ask Homura for a timestop.

Give them hobbies to aid in their recovery and prepare for the next objective.

Necessity explained.

She already knows this.

We can read minds?

I edited in an explanation.

She already knows this.

She know this as well.

We can read minds?

That's like saying, "My wife knows I love her, so I don't have to tell her." It's not a good argument. She needs validation and reminding.

As for reading minds, we haven't tested it yet. We can already acquire info through walls, so it's worth a try.

No its more like telling your child you love them so many times in a day that they tell you to bug off cause your bugging them to high heavens about it.

ok that's acceptable.

"Use Grief to scan her memories"

NNNnnoope. Nope. Nopety nope. Nuh uh. No. Nein. Nyet.

Also, it feels very disrespectful to start experimenting while in the middle of a serious heart-to-heart talk.

It's trying to help her, which we've just explained.

Also, we don't have proof we can't scan memories.

EDIT: In fact, there's evidence we can scan minds. Our combat enhancer got its skill from somewhere.

But simply asking Oriko about the Soulguca and using that to search the internet, while less effective, should still be better than nothing.

Either way, until we do that we aren't done with our responsibilities with Oriko. We've left this far too long already and it's already been causing problems.
