Phrase tweaking would be good. "How would you feel about..." or "would it be a good idea if..." might be better than presenting it as a completed plan.
Also, best comedic timing would place the name no sooner than the middle of the description, and ideally towards the end.

I'm hoping that if we go to the last place her phone was before it went silent, we'll find something. Although I'm increasingly suspecting that what we'll find will be a Barrier with her witch in it.
I have issues with that name. To anyone who isn't familiar with a fairly-obscure film that isn't even out yet at the time this takes place, it not only makes no sense, it sounds vaguely salacious.
My first thought was, "Who would start moving in the direction of their destination before going dark?" but then I reminded myself that we're dealing with a depressed teenager, not a Shadowrun player.

We should try to help Mami with developing her full-sized ribbon doppelganger. We know she's capable of pulling it off. If the magic cost is the issue, we can certainly alleviate that.
(Which reminds me, we need to give Mami a Clear Seed at some point so we know she's taken care of.)That would be fucking terrifying to look at. Talk about Uncanny Valley.
Whereas if we make it look just like us, then we can give Mami twice the hugs!

I think at that point it wouldn't be so cute anymore, and Sayaka wouldn't feel so conflicted about something that looks like Sabrina being cute, so Chibi should stay Chibi.
Maybe ask her to try making a full sized clone, maybe we can see what the problem is?

Guys, I like the whole long term plans thing, but seriously, ditch the name.
The movie doesn't debut in-universe for another 7 months, and then only in the UK (the US doesn't screen it until mid-2012). Until it does, it's an in-joke without an in-crowd, which just makes it sound dumb.

I don't understand the joke. I didn't even realise it was a joke. I just thought the name praised Mami and was a bit on the charmingly silly side, but the name was never something I was concerned about. I was assuming Mami would choose a better name anyway.
EDIT: I mean, if we want, we can use something like Riposo Magico or something, but with real grammar instead of google translate grammar (I have no idea if Google is right or not here)

Jeez, people, if we want to do a reference that's not either extremely dated from our perspective or incomprehensible from the characters' perspective, let's go with something classy. "Mami's Café Américain". The name's even fitting to the theme of the place, too.
We just have to remember to act shocked every time there's gambling going on in the establishment.
