Sayaka could provide suppressing/cover fire by shooting blades, both regular and explosive, at her opponents.

Shooting is inherently safer than stabbing. Even against Mami. There's nothing she can do to a Sayaka shooting her from ten feet away that she couldn't do to a Sayaka charging her from ten feet away.
Well, it's the whole keep moving thing + Homura is there too. Though you probably meant a greater distance than ~3 meters ^^;;

Since we are using movement magic and weapons only, does that include weapons made with and controlled by our Magic?
[X] Throw and re-spawn your Hammers
[X] Try to split them up and keep them occupied dodging or deflecting your Hammers.
-[X] If it is allowed mix in hammers made of Grief that you can remotely control to keep harassing them.
[X] Have Sayaka create a shield with her swords and try to close in.
-[X] Have Sayaka focus on Homura
--[X] If Sayaka can get into melee with Homura close on Mami.

If an opponent will skewer you if you close to melee, you don't do that.
Sayaka's melee. Mami's ranged. Yes, Mami can kick ass at melee too, but Sayaka's got a natural advantadge there, so she needs to start growing into it. Mami holding back is a perfect opponent for Sayaka to try melee.

And it remains, that while Mami can destroy in melee, she can destroy a hell of a lot harder at range, so there's no question of whether we want to stay at range or close. At range we just get destroyed more.

I don't think her swords actually explode. She hasn't tried that, and right now is not the best moment to check.

Getting into a firefight with Mami is just asking to lose without even trying for a minimal chance to winning.

And training or not, I doube Sayaka doesn't want to win.
I don't want Sayaka to die because she tried playing to her strength against an acid monster or a chainsaw porcupine or a teleporter.
This scenario's not conductive to train against such, though.

Problem with that:

I would like to remind people that this is a spar. Can we avoid doing things that are quite fairly lethal to the average human being?

Firn forgot to hand out the airsoft guns. That said...

NO! WHAT MURA SAID! BAD! BAD! NO! HOMU AND MUMI FRIEND.

@AramilOniasha: The problem with throwing hammers is that they make lousy cover and don't force as great dodges as bigger things. Making a shield of summoned weapons is more interesting idea, though it'd seem like they'd be stationary.
Firn forgot to hand out the airsoft guns.
Actually, we could probably vote for them to be used, though in that case our strategy might be bit different.

It was super-strongly implied that this was going to be airsoft-based with magic-based mobility skills enabled. Firn messed up. We are not using hammers, or swords, or guns, or anything else that could serious injure us or Mami. Or Homura. Seikyu could get hurt by a snowflake but she'd heal anyway.

Until we aren't unfucked...

[X] Blink. Realize that Homura didn't give out the airsofts.
-[X] Hold up one finger to Sayaka.
--[X] "Ah, Homura, the weaponry? I can't believe we forgot."

Or maybe Homura fell into habit and forget, or hasn't simply taken them out yet.

She gives Sayaka a meaningful look. "Weapons only, minimal magic."
Mami wants us to use swords and hammers and she wants to use guns, so this may very well be deliberate (e: till we ask her, of course).

Also, that's cruel treatment of our waifu. Seikyu isn't healer here.

I don't care what you say we're not going at Mami with a weapon and intent to harm.

I think we need to gank Homura. She is the weaker at melee, and 2 against one should give us advantage.

So, first step would be to disable sight if possible. Project sand and debris against them with the hammer.

Then, both Sayaka and us should close on Homura (who is probably umbalanced due to no shield) and try to defeat her. Mami has spend some time without allies, so perhaps her teamwork is rusty.

Sayaka can probably cut/evade the paintballs, while the mace can be thrown to keep Mami from shooting (and from incapacitating it).

Also, cover. The second step must be to take cover. Never to stay in one place, always moving towards Homura as if taking cover.

Maintaining distance from each other should also be considered. Less easy to determine our target that way.

Suppressing fire with a flanking maneuver to put them in enfilade? It's not a bad idea. Or possibly pincer with two moving elements, since mobility seems to be the one advantage that Sabrina and Sayaka have over Mami and Homura.

If we don't have airsoft, then Sayaka's the only one with a ranged attack, so she'll have to try to lay down suppressing fire with her sword blades while we swing around and try to ambush them from the side.

Pretty much this.

An ambush with a single moving element would be too obvious.

I suggest we make a double attack from different angles, and to hide our movement as desperate covering.

So, two moving elements heading in opposite directions to divide their fire and attention, trying to swing around and close in to catch them in a pincer?

EDIT: Using our respective flying powers for maximum speed and maneuverability, but flying at ground level to take advantage of cover and hopefully cause them to lose sight of us?

Why not, indeed? No reason I can see. I like this idea.

EDIT: The question marks were just my way of asking for feedback. Sorry if that was unclear.

I am kinda voting to tell Sayaka that :p Unless something is missing  ?

Well, expect explicitly the part about firing swords directly at Homura, I guess. I guess I'd rather Sayaka flank in than fire when choosing between the two, but I think it will be pretty chaotic.
