This was probably discussed before, but I'm rather new to this thread: were there any plans on dealing with the eventual Sayaka-Hitomi-Kyousuke love triangle?

Sayaka didn't blow her wish on Kyousuke this time around (which is good), but IIRC she's still feeling indebted to Hitomi for giving her and her family a place to live. If Hitomi confronts her about Kyousuke and gives her that awful ultimatum, and Sayaka steps aside solely based on that, that... probably won't end well.

On the other hand, I can kind of see Sabrina knocking their heads together before sitting them both down and forcing them to actually talk this through, because she's a natural-born diplomancer.

On the other OTHER hand, Plan B.

I wouldn't call helping a musical child prodigy regain use of his hand 'blowing her wish'.

Hitomi won't confront Sayaka about the love triangle. She's a good friend and knows that would be taking advantage of Sayaka's percieved debt to her. That runs counter to having a straight up confrontation of equals that Hitomi practiced in canon.
 
Honestly, the situation as it stands in PMAS is kinda unfair... to Hitomi. Sayaka doesn't owe her anything, but just the belief she does makes it so she can't act. I mean, that's still way better then canon, since Hitomi feeling bad won't literally kill her, but still.

I sometimes can't believe our social is the (second to) last hope of mankind. I mean, we technically can do it, but...

At any rate, the situation seems stable enough, and in a pinch we can always search, catch and decomission her for a week or 2.

But all in all? All of us acting together? We come across as a oddlylikeable, friendly and open girl.
Not exactly THE great communicator, but not the slouch at being Social we are talking about all the time.
Just saying.

Yeah, when I wrote that, I was thinking less about what the wish actually did for Kyousuke, and more about how the rest of it ended up for Sayaka herself.

Also, true, I hadn't considered that! I guess Sayaka's weird indebtedness potentially has a silver lining?

I wonder if the whole potential love triangle thing makes it harder for Hitomi to confront Sayaka about the indebtedness, too. I mean, Hitomi has to know about Sayaka's feelings too, but this kinda throws everything out of whack.

Hitomi won't pull that shit because she's actually informed as to Sayaka's situation and is a good friend. Really, until Sayaka gets over her issues with this Hitomi-debt, neither of them will act.
