I think Ono and Sasa might disagree.
Ono and Sasa don't like anybody, so that's hardly surprising. :p

(Things with Sasa were pretty badly handled, but it seemed like Ono was determined to hate everyone regardless.)

Going back a couple pages....
Witch barriers, deserts or anonymous patches of ocean would be good places to test anything that pushes the limits of how much you can pack into a shot.
Beyond a certain energy level, oceans will not be an option, as a tsunami could result.

We already know what Tiro Finale does when it hits something, we're just trying to make it shoot faster.
Originally we were just talking about making Tiro Finale fully automatic. Then people started talking about railguns....

So, if we can teach Mami to make a railgun, that could be a potent new ability for her. For ourselves, or for a tandem attack, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to electromagnetically accelerate a projectile when it would probably be a lot simpler to just use a Grief sabot to telekinetically accelerate a projectile to arbitrary speeds.

Well we did just heal his hand, so he can deal.

Don't read into that.
Excuse me, Sayaka healed his hand. We just got started on it.

(Things with Sasa were pretty badly handled,
Nah, we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot or anything, we just need to meet her again and keep wearing her down until she sees the futility of refusing to become our friend. Eventually, she'll become addicted to hugs, as is right and proper.

Startling thought:

Clara Doll Sabrina vs. Chibi Brina.

Prize is Chibi Mumi hugs.

Loser doesn't get any Mumi hugs.

Who would win, and how much would be lost in the collateral damage?

"Yes."
You need to change one of those chibi Mumis to a chibi Brina or the world will become dangerously unstable.

[Q] Wait, wait, before making the chibi, you need... inspiration.
-[Q] Take Mami's sunglasses.
--[Q] Put them on Chibi Mami.
---[Q] Now you can procee- Wait.
----[Q] SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE over Chibi Mami with sunglasses.
-----[Q] Now you can proceed.

One has to wonder how the relationship between Sabrina and Mami looks to other people.

"You know, Kyouko, you guys don't have to keep breaking into hotel rooms. We have a perfectly good guest room that nobody is using right now."

"Wait, aren't you staying there?"

"No, I've been sleeping in Mami's room."

*jaw drops, letting her pocky fall to the ground*

"Hey, you're wasting food...."

"You... you two are doing it?!?"

"What? No! No, it's not like that."

"Oh... okay."

"We've just been sleeping together."

"I see... wait, what?"

"Oh, here she comes now. Mami!"

"Sabrina!"

*Mami and Sabrina run towards each other in slow motion on a beach*

"Mami!"

"Sabrina!"

*dramatic violin music swells as they run towards each other*

"Where the hell is that music coming from?"

*Yuma tugs Kyouko's sleeve and points to Sabrina's grief orchestra*

"Oh, I see... wait, that just raises further questions!"

"MAMI!"

"SABRINA!"

*Sabrina and Mami reach each other in slow motion and Sabrina picks Mami up and spins her around in her arms*

"In what way are they 'not like that'? They must be doing it!"

"You're right, nee-chan! Totally doing it!"

"Hey! Watch your language, Yuma."

"I have to say..."

"Mmm?"

"I wasn't sure about practicing this 'slow motion' thing... but it's worth it just for the look on Kyouko's face."

"The slow spinning is cool, too."

"Yes. Spin me more."

[SPINNING INTENNNNNNNNSIIIIIIIIIIFIIIIIIIIIIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS]

[Q] Make a Contract with Dedolere.
-[Q] End Grief by absorbing ALL of its power into yourself.
--[Q] Remake the Universe and... I don't know, chill. Make sure the Incubators don't fuck this up, probably by killing all of them.

Ultimate Brina, here we go.
[Q] Ultimate Dedolere seems to be a problem now.
-[Q] How to resolve this...
--[Q] Legally change name to Dedolere.
---[Q] "How can you be Dedolere when I have a document proving I'm Dedolere!"
----[Q] Be Double Ultimate Dedobrina.
Dedolere: *Puts on glasses, reads document*

Dedolere: "Mmm... This seems to be in order, then... Excuse me, I need to have an identity crisis right now."

Sabrina: "Oh no, I didn't mean to trouble you so. Mayhaps I could help?"

Dedolere: "Oh dear, I don't know what to say."

Sabrina: "It is my belief you are in need of close physical contact. May I comfort you in such a fashion?"

Dedolere: "By all means."

*Sabrina hugs Dedolere*

Dedolere: "Oh, to think I had wished to inundate your very Soul in despair and madness in order to take your place in the universe and then absorb all the living into myself to fulfill my primal needs."

Sabrina: "I'm glad you didn't do that."

Dedolere: "Do you know what? So am I!"

Sabrina: "I love you, Dedolere."

Dedolere: "No Sabrina, you love yourself."

*Dedolere fuses into Sabrina's being*

Sabrina: "... So... Does that mean I've got... ULTIMATE POWER?!"

*CRACK-THOOOOOOM*

*SABRINA'S IMAGE IS PAINTED WITH LIGHTNING IN THE FIRMAMENT*

*EVERY MAGICAL GIRL STARTLES AND FEEL A WARM PRESENCE EVELOPING THEM AND IT FEELS NICE*

So while at work, I was thinking about the Madocontract, why it occurs, and how to prevent it. Bear with me.

First, the reasons why she tends to contract:

1) Amy. Left to her own devices, she always wishes to save her as a universal constant. However, ever since Homura was asked to prevent her from contracting, Homura trivially saves Amy from her fate. That cat lives in every universe and is resolved long before Sabrina would've been in play.

2) "That would be truly wonderful." Amy's a symptom of a bigger mindset; namely that Madoka sees becoming a Magical Girl as its own reward, initially, and the wish is an afterthought she really doesn't need as an incentive. Can you blame her, really? She has self-esteem issues and being a Magical Girl is glamorous as fuck (until you bring in the bombs). As long as people like Mami are her only example, she'll barrel into it. This naturally fades on it's own as the situation deteriorates and Homura can otherwise do a good job stamping this out, but Sabrina kind of poses a problem in that she restores and maintains a lot of the idealistic glamour. More on this below.

3) "I can really change this?" As her idealistic view of Magical Girls falls apart, she sees her wish more as a resource to fix problems and is a bit more hesitant to waste it, but while this stalls for time, it makes her drive to contract more urgent. Miscellaneous one-off situations that could benefit from her Deus Ex Machina pile up. Witch fights gone bad, PVP Megucas, named character deaths...these prompt a contract unless Homura or Sabrina intercepts them, but they can do a pretty good job of this. The current problem is that Madoka's worldview is half of two and half of three. Instead of either one being totally defused, they're both at half-strength, and that's in some ways better but in some ways worth. Still, even without Sabrina's help, Homura can consistently handle these crises.

4) Sayaka. This is mostly a symptom of Reason 3, but it bears speaking of on it's own. Sayaka isn't just Madoka's best friend, but also an ongoing problem that is persistent over several days to a few weeks. Homura can't be everywhere to put out every single blueberry-flavored fire, and Sayaka inevitably crumbles under all her bullshit. Besides Wally, Sayaka is the main cause of Madoka's contracts, and Homura doesn't always succeed at preventing them. So yea, when we let Sayaka contract we fucked up pretty bad, but we're actually in a pretty good position with her. Sayaka trusts Homura. Sayaka was lichbombed before contracting and accepted that. Sayaka wished good AND got to have a healed Kyousuke. And the love triangle won't advance for a while due to, well, the debt.

The debt however, is a huge problem and the main psychological burden on Sayaka. If she were to hypothetically witch out it'd probably be themed around that instead of Kyousuke. This and the Witchbomb are about the only things that could undo Sayaka's psyche and pressure Madoka. We're going to need to schedule a Sayaka/Hitomi Social Link UP session with us as a mediator if need be.

5) The Witchbomb. Yea uh. There's not many easy answers to this (though see below). As long as we can demonstrate meaningful progress on dewitching though, it should be fine.

6) Walpurgisnacht. If nothing else gets her, Madoka always contracts here, and Homura can pretty much never prevent it. This is universally due to the girls never being able to unify or stay alive, and always crumble until Homura alone stands, powerless and in need of Madoka's help. This is partly due to their social issues, partly due to grief-spiralling and people getting killed. We're solving all of these. The PSP game confirms that the Holy Quintet sans Madoka are sufficient for Walpurgisnacht with no casualties, but we can already do better pretty fucking trivially. Walpurgis is just...not honestly that much of a problem.

The critical thing, however, is Madoka still wants to help. There is only one thing that ever dissuades her, and only one thing that ever could.

To defeat Walpurgisnacht, and for Homura to connect with her, and openly and sincerely share her true feelings. The PSP game has two endings where Madoka survives as a normal human.

A) Homura defeats Walpurgis alone and dies, and in her final breaths begs Madoka never to contract. Madoka honors this promise. This is obviously unacceptable as it requires everyone else to be dead.

B) All the girls survive, and Homura tells Madoka everything she said in Episode 11, but now has the backup and firepower to be able to genuinely say she doesn't need Madoka's help. Knowing what Homura's fighting for and being able to trust in her friends is enough to defuse Madoka.

B is what we want, and we can get it very easily. We have the firepower. We have the manpower. We have Homura's absolute trust. We can facilitate this exact scenario and we can do so weeks ahead of schedule. I honestly think we need to tell Homura everything I just talked about here, and maybe tell her about the PSP Good End, and help encourage her to have a sincere talk with Madoka. If Homura can do that, and we keep everyone alive, and defeat Walpurgis, Madoka will go her life without contracting. Canonically.

Because above everything, Madoka is someone who wants to understand and respect others. We keep giving her vague reasons not to contract that can't convince her in the longterm because she has no idea why we're so insistent. But if she understands there's no wish she could make, because the VERY ACT of wishing will trigger and psychologically rip apart Homura, she won't do it unless her back's to the wall.

Even in the most ideal situation, she'll probably still contract if Homura or Sabrina die, but honestly fuck it, I can live with that. If Homura dies, there's no future loops and her wish can't come true in the fullest sense. If Sabrina dies, the quest is over anyway.

I'm not settling for a Quest Ending where Sabrina or Homura aren't alive, so if Madoka needs to slam that reset button, fine. And perhaps in that case, we can assure Homura that we'll make Madoka's Soul Gem our top priority to keep clean. If nothing else, Homura would be able to leave this timeline knowing Madoka is KINDA alright.

So yea we need to talk to Homura about this at the earliest oppurtunity. Kyubey is a ticking timebomb and can't be allowed to make the first move on ANY of these points.
