Actually, hold up, everyone.
Kept this one short because, well, there isn't too much to write here.
This sounds like a challenge.

[Q] Actually, you really needed someone to help you with something, and she didn't look busy, so...
-[Q] You can pay her, if she wants!
--[Q] Show her the gold.
---[Q] One of these good enough? Maybe two?
----[Q] Oh, yes, you wanted her to proofread these:
-----[Q] Pull out a mass of papers and shove it into Sasa's hands.
------[Q] It's a set of stories you've been working on. If Sasa can go through it and do some editing work, that'd be great!
-------[Q] Here, pay Sasa a gold bar in advance. The other one when she finishes.
--------[Q] Turn invisible and leave.
---------[Q] (The papers contain ALL the thread's omakes. :V)
----------[Q] Giggle once you're out of hearing range, casually spooking some random passerby.

Actually what are the odds we can save her? Like her problem is not "doesn't have friends" or "doesn't know info we can tell her."

I mean we can and maybe should witch bomb her ...but that doesn't fix her problems.

Like I was all for saving her in the abstract, but I think we need an actual plan, not just talk at her until she is better.

An any rate, I can't really sympathize here, so I'll just point out the only moment Sasa was shoved out of frown-mode was here:
"Well," you say. "I live here, I just don't go to school. I'm kind of new to town, but I do live here. I don't sound like a foreigner, do I?"

The scowl on her face flickers uncertainly for a moment,
Which isn't really much, just couldn't keep up ALL THE HATE while realizing we were actually speaking like a local.

[GLOWY EYES POWERS ACTIVATE]
It seems that Onmur went rampant. He will be missed.

Somebody initiate deployment of Onmur 2.0!
You meanie!

No, people do that to me too. It's the "Wait is Crasian insane or just unspeakably weird?" face.
I mean Sabrina threw Sasa off for a moment.

What I see is that Sasa is trying to be angry as a way to get Sabrina to go away, that's obvious enough. But I bet she forgot to be angry while processing the fact this obvious foreigner wasn't so obviosuly a foreigned.

Basically, since Sasa is actively trying to build up anger towards us, we need to keep doing things that'll throw her off, so she can't.

We just a random stranger who piss her off, she could just leave.
"I don't know," she says, brusque and unfriendly as she brushes past you.

"Hm?" you ask, turning to follow her as she tries to stalk away.

"I don't know where the toilet or information counter or whatever is," she shoots over her shoulder, still walking away.

You have longer legs than her, and it isn't even an effort to keep up with her.

"I'm not looking for anything," you say.

"Great!" Sasa says, rounding on you. "Then what do you want?"

"Well..." you say. "Are you skipping school?"

She scowls at you, and spins to start walking away again.
The scowl on her face flickers uncertainly for a moment, before she turns away, resolutely marching away from you.

Her problem is not having a constructive way to deal with her inferiority complex and no friends that we saw.

No witchbomb- don't trust her not to blab at all.

Talking at her is giving us an opening to give her advice- carefully.

To be honest, Lichbomb should be good enough to disuade a contract.

If we tell her she'd literally get her Soul mutilated out her body, I doubt she'd go for it. She might feel inferior, but I don't think she wants to be, and Soul mutilation would be a few steps down for her.

Wow, Sadness Prayer. Sasa just can't catch a break. Anyone actually read that that can summarize Sasa's arc there?

Sasa makes a reappearance in Sadness Prayer following Komaki's death. It is revealed in Sadness Prayer that Sasa hails from Kazamino.
Sasa is seen having her witches defeated and being cornered by a group of magical girls led by Rina. Sasa gets away with a false soul gem and yelling for help.
She is later seen fighting with a witch against Mio, who is trying to kill her for currently unknown reasons; however, Kirika interrupts the fight by killing Mio in a surprise attack. Sasa is then confronted by both Oriko and Kirika, who recruit her in their mission to protect their world.
Later, Homura kills Sasa with a bomb while saving Madoka from her.

Yeah, but other then the witch bomb what fucking advice can we give her? How can we do more then just confuse and scare her?

I mean right now confusing and scaring her is probably good..but its not enough. Do we kidnap her? Kidnap her bullies? lecture her? Like..I am not seeing any good options even after she is talking to us. Maybe we should back up and do some intel gathering? (Talking to her might be a way to do that..is that what people are intending?)

Where does her inferiority complex come from? What is actually her deal? I was kind of assuming people actually had plans about how to help her once we were talking to her. Something we can say or do that will help.

Basically, Sasa really fucking sucks at Meguca-ing. She's not able to hunt well because she can either have combat capabilities, or Grief Seeds, but not both, and one exacerbates her need for the latter. Everyone in Kasamino basically wants to run her out or kill her because she basically hogs twice as much Witches as anyone else would.

Oriko and Kirika recruit her by appealing to her sense of worthlessness, asserting that she's useful, integral in fact, and that if she helps them, she'll have proven herself. All she has to do is kill Madoka, and after observing her, Sasa couldn't be on board fast enough.

Just...be pleasant to her. Build her up. Try and get her to do something important and make it clear her well being matters to us. And, yes, we're trying to get more info out of her.

Urgh. Damnit, Oriko and Kirika.

Well, if she contracts, that's one problem we've solved...

I'll say this- the idea behind the Crasian vote works. To be honest, I think that any vote that involves a)not setting off verbal landmines by talking down to her, b)keeping her talking, c)offering food as a safe middle ground should be okayish, just a question of wording.

Sorry, but what was his vote again?

Because the one I found with Xs was single line.
