[] "Sorry. It's not that I pity you, or anything. I just thought you looked lonely, or depressed or something. I know how that feels. But, hey. I'd like to be a listening ear, if you'll have me. I'll let you complain and yell as much as you want. Hell, I could even help you find a junkyard or something where you can just smash shit until it feels better."
-[] "Or we could just grab a bite to eat. I don't really know what's good around here yet, wehihi.

Can any of the above be useful to add to the vote? My intuition seems to think so, as someone with an inferiority complex.

Well, this might be a sort of clash in personalities. My moods tend to be more Sasa-like, and I usually don't like it when people talk to me like this. It feels too helpful. For me, now, I would just thank you but politely say that I just need some time alone, but would appreciate a cup of tea if you have it. As for younger!Me, it would piss me off more, because I would feel like you're talking down to me, as if you think I need your help. Frankly, I probably did need your help, but fuck off and eat shit because Teenagers.

Honesty is (probably not) the best policy!

I see. My inferiority complexes made me a Madoka, so I'm completely perpendicular to this sort of thing. I'll defer to you.

[q] Social too difficult!
-[q] Default to SCIENCE instead.
--[q] Remove Sasa's grief from her soul.

:V

Who knows, maybe she'll be more reasonable with us forcibly pulling her out of a depressive spiral? :p
Well, I have been wanting to test manipulation of grief (the emotion), rather than Grief (the substance)...and Sasa would be a good test subject.

Maybe more...

[] "I'm sorry. It's not pity... I thought you looked like I do when I'm feeling bad... And I know it sucks, but it sucks less if you have someone to talk with. I thought I could be that someone."
-[] "I really wanted to hang out, though, maybe have lunch... but I feel bad now." *Hopeful* "Maybe another time?"
-[] Give her your number if she agrees.

Worstgirl is still not for science.

...Why? That just ends the conversation without any real change in a way that won't get through to her at all!

And if we fuck it up, nobody will miss her! It's perfect. :V

"So what happened with Sasa?"
"Well, I tried talking to her, even though she was really vitriolic and aggressive..."
*Just like Madoka...*
"... but that didn't work, so I removed her soul and did SCIENCE to it until she was a better person instead."
"What."

"Well, yes, but-"

"Teach me."

Seriously this isn't rocket science. Just don't give up because lolsasa, actually keep at it, and try the goddamn ice cream.

I was being :V.

I even went back and added it to my previous posts just be sure.

I mean, it'll take at least another three or four failed social updates before I start seriously considering science. :V

If we can get Sasa to agree to another meeting, that's a victory in my book.

It gives the girl something to look forward other than the vast futility of existance. :V

Even if it's just meeting a weird girl.
Except that given it's Sasa, she wouldn't be likely to. She'd just take it as a chance to just cut the conversation off. It's a bad call.

Right now Sasa is an actively hostile participant in the conversation and giving her an excuse to break it off would be the same as just giving up because she has no reason to actually talk to us again at this point.

I will say that although I don't have much of an opinion of which particular social approach to take, since I'm kinda floundering when trying to figure out which one would work best, I am 10000% against ending the conversation at any point where both:
a) Sasa is still hostile to us.
and
b) We have not prevented her from contracting.
are true, since that's a massive security issue that's just asking for her to go Suzune Magica on our asses and make everything terrible forever.

I'd honestly rather kill her than leave her to contract at that point, even taking the massive PR hit Kyubey could do into account, just because we'd make a recent example of things she hates for her to vent her wish on, and she's easily spiteful enough to do it.

If we have to choose between getting this meeting to go well and her agreeing to meet up later, the former is vastly more likely.

We don't have to do that, though, because how well this meeting goes will be the biggest factor in whether or not she agrees to another.

If you want to arrange a meeting without this one going well, you'll have to do it without her permission and/or in a way that is much more intriguing than just asking to meet up later. Something more in the area of saying "we'll meet again, Sasa Yuuki" before turning invisible.

Ehhhhhhhhhhh... I'd think we'd kidnap her, or something, before killing her.

As dangerous as Wishes can be, we are trying to be just, so we can't kill her for something she might do.

Yeahhh no we're not murdering her.
