Onmur's argument is valid in a sense, he only needs to point out what is plausible rather then what is proven. As for grief working entirely different from enchantment, I'd answer yes and no. They're both trying to achieve similar results even if both forces are going about it differently. Mami still managed to reverse engineer an enchantment that was partially comprised of grief to complete a similar effect. A grief bolstered enchant would serve more as a proof of concept more than anything else.

Well, yes, but my bone was with the claim that the difference between full grief constructs and grief-enhanced enchantments are only pedantically different. They're really not., and while Mami's genius expertise at enchantment allows her to work around one, I wouldn't take for granted she could replicate the other, and certainly not quickly or easily.

I agree the base image of a clone could in time be replicated by most magical girls. I believe that was pointed out in tds. It's more so how Mami's clone was able to function that I was paying attention to. From base actions like speaking coherently, to awareness of the clones surroundings, to manifesting the clones own muskets and maneuvering, fighting and beating a veteran magical girl at a comparable level. That is a very high quality clone comprised of ribbons.

It's worth pointing out that Mami was very clearly watching from a vantage point and has demonstrated being able to make her muskets pretty much anywhere in her range of vision/awareness. And honestly since her ribbons are symbolically an extension of her life-force I wouldn't imagine it would be difficult for her to move her awareness through one either.

I'm pretty sure Mami wasn't aware of the projection at that point.

Yea, adding on to this, all the girls were doing more expensive, elaborate bullshit when fighting Nightmares, because they have effectively infinite MP to work with.

That's not what I called pedantic at all. I called Redshirt pedantic, because he knew exactly what I was talking about, and didn't require me to clarify further, but instead of addressing the point of my message, chose to instead point the difference between Grief things... for some reason.

Not that there isn't a difference, it just wasn't pertinent.

He did answer my concern the very next post (that we can, in fact, try).

We do have this part down. It was sad the time we decided Mami and Homu should experiment with their powers didn't amount to much.

Maybe we should not only train Sayaka today. Mami could use some practice with her cannons, at least.

This left me thinking, what is the proper hat?
 
Said patents and blueprints could always be soft copies, not hard copies.

I meant those two as well as CAD files if possible.
