The Ring... My Ring... My Precious...

Give me my Precious...

...No... No...! Kirika is more precious to me than a ring...!

:V
But what if Kirika was The Ring...

"Kirika, you'd do anything for your Ojou, right?"

"... Why do I feel like I'm gonna regret it, but I can't help but answer yes, anyway?"

"That's all I needed to hear."

What can we do? We brought Mami along so she's got enchantment covered; Oriko's working on simple 'anti-pain', with good motivation; Kirika's project needs testing...

Shouldn't we test Kirika's AM rock first thing?

After that, we could make that Grief tainted AM Ring model for Mami to analyze. Maybe another simple Anti Pain Grief Ring, too, since it only takes a minute.

Then we can try to Grief up information about Oriko's Soul.

Anything else we can do to help the Oriko issue?

I strongly suggest we buckle down and learn enchantment. The immediate problem is addressing the symptoms. Once we've done that, there's no clear time limit in addressing the core problem. But on top of that enchantment is key (well currently the best thing we have) in hopes of dewitching as well as potentially a cleansing alternative that isn't dependent on Sabrina.

Structural analysis, please. Take some peebles and try to use magic to figure out their composition; or try to fill them with magic while straining our magical senses in order to analyze how the magic flows throughout matter. Whatever will help us later when we move onto Grief Seeds and Soul Gems, including Oriko's.

Maybe ask Mami to create an enchantment for us to analyze, while we ourselves could prepare the Grief tainted enchanted Ring for her to check over.

[X] We'll get to work on our own enchantment. Analysis; you want to be able to understand what goes into an enchantment... or a Soul Gem.
-[X] Ask Mami to enchant something for you to practice on; meanwhile make a Grief-assisted Anti Pain Ring for her to try and reverse engineer.
-[X] When you've got your target enchantment, try observing its magic while straining your senses; then try to mix a bit of your magic into it willing it to be a bridge between the enchantment and you.
[X] While you practice, remind Oriko that in order to test Kirika's AM enchantment, she'll need to let go of the ring for a moment. She should tell us as soon as she's ready.
[X] Whenever you feel tired, telepathy Masami and Hiroko.
-[X] How many Christmas basket do you owe them for their help?
-[X] Ask how did their meeting go.
-[X] Also how's the Grief Seed working.
-[X] Also if they need anything from you.
[X] If you need another break during practice, try to Grief up an informational pamphlet about Oriko's Soul issue. Grief warning.

Mmm... We didn't tell Ono about Empty Seeds. Think she'd get jealous or something if she finds out we gave this super special Grief Seed to Masami? Specially after going on and on about Ono's magic problem?

It took me a while to remember who Ono was, and as soon as I remembered I wanted to forget again. That was hard to read.
Still better than kazumi magica, though.

Still should be thankful. If nothing else, they're helping.

Ono is not the only loose end we've got. We might have to deal with Akiko again in the future.

Nevermind confirmed incoming threats and possible dangers; Walpurgisnacht, Feathers, Souju&Souju, Soulguca...

Sabrina didn't remember.

I'm home...

Welcome home!

Mm? What's this?

A note? It has your name.

Let me see...

*Pales suddenly*

Sabrina? Something wrong?

*Note shakes in her hands*

The words didn't make sense

H-hey Mami, I just remembered Koko wanted to spar, I need to go...

It's past midnight.

Y-yeah... I mean, Sayaka wanted some help cramming for that math test tomorrow...

They had that test today. She aced it.

I-I-I mean I... Gotta-go-see-you-tomorrow-or-the-day-after-bye!

*Jumps out the window*

... Sabrina... *Picks up note from the floor*

Dear, Sabrina:

I will be visiting to check on your well being tomorrow at 2 p.m.

I hope to see you have made something good of your life since you ran away; that you have got yourself a nice place and a decent job, at the very least. We would be very vexed if we were to find out you didn't have a good reason to not have called home at all since the last time we saw you.

Your mom would be very sad if you had gone and gotten hurt and lost doing something reckless.

As for myself, you know I only want what's best for you.

Love, your mother.
Signed... Akhomuhomu?

But despite that...

... Sabrina has... family?

... Wait, two moms???

She couldn't help the feeling in her gut that something very bad was about to happen.

What kind of life did you lead, Sabrina...

Well, someone's got to receive the guests.

Two days later...

I'm home!

Welcome home, Sabrina.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

I am also very happy to see you. Why don't you give your mother a big hug? It's been so long...

... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... *hugs* ...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

I have great news. I managed to get your mom to take a few days off, which means I have a few days off, which means I'll be staying for a while!

... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?

Indeed! Welcome home, Sabrina.

Eeeeeeeee?

It turns out your mother and I have a lot in common.

We care a lot about the same things.

*Head swings back and forth*

Just one thing, really.

A very important one.

So, I was wondering... when were you gonna introduce me to your parents?

... eeeeeeeeeeee... *Faints*

Oh, dear.

S-Sabrina!

Don't worry, dear. It's simply the brain damage acting up again.

... That makes too much sense.
Mami silently wonders why Sabrina would lose her head over a little visit.
Mami would love to be in her place...

Sabrina: "The truth? You sure?"

Homura: "Quite."

Sabrina: "Okay, fine. I'm your and Madoka's love-child from the future."

*Homura.exe has stopped responding*

Oriko: "I...didn't see that coming. At all."

Oriko: "I...didn't see that coming. At all."
But she did!
Sabrina and Homura sat across Oriko. For some reason, Oriko looked extremely nervous.

"So, going to tell us why you called us here." Sabrina asked.

"Well..." Oriko began, paused for a few seconds, sighed, and then looked straight at Sabrina. "I found your parents."

There was silence for a few seconds. Then, Sabrina shot up. "What? Who?"

Oriko took a sip of her tea, put the tea down, and stared at Homura. A few more seconds past, and realization spiked.

"M-me?" Homura was pale in shock. Sabrina's eyes were wide as well. But that was for a different reason.

"You mean that I wasn't imagining things?" Sabrina asked. Then, not waiting for another answer, she asked another question. "Who's my other mom?"

Homura began to sputter at her sexuality was revealed by her now-known daughter. "Wai-No I-Just wh-How did I have her?"

"You didn't have her, your wife did." Oriko said, a small blush adorning her cheeks.

Silence stretched out for a little longer. Then Homura fainted. Sabrina and Oriko stared at Homura.

"I guess I do take after Madoka more." Sabrina mused. Oriko just nodded

Sabrina: "The truth? You sure?"

Homura: "Quite."

Sabrina: "Okay, fine. I'm your and Madoka's love-child from the future."

*Homura.exe has stopped responding*
Sabrina: "And I don't like this 'love-child' thing."

Homura: "Buh?"

Sabrina: "You need to get married."

Homura: *THUD*

I think I'm going to abstain this round. Tried to make a vote. It's not really working out. That said, I will advise a heavy focus on enchantment for this vote. Preferably with Mami's help.

Is Redshirt Army's plan that Ugolino dubbed Plan C in any votes right now or did we forget it?

For Reference:

Okay. Kirika made an enchantment that maintains antimagic over the course of an afternoon with no help and almost no instruction. I believe this is evidence that a Puella Magi's wish given magic acts as a 'specialty' when it comes to enchantment.

Therefore, if we use grief assistance, it should be possible to make an enchantment with the purpose of keeping nearby grief constructs coherent. That enchantment, then, should continue to function outside of our range (because it's a grief construct being maintained, natch.)

If this is the case, it should be possible to make an enchantment "anchor", that we can then affix our grief construct of pain removal to. Moreover, this would act as a way of creating general grief effects that can persist outside of our range for as long as the enchantment lasts.

The assumptions made are:
a). Grief enchantment will come particularly easily to Sabrina.
b). An enchantment to make grief effects persist is possible.
c). An enchantment can affect itself once it has begun operating.

I believe my reasoning is sound. Comments, concerns?
