Now we just need to float this by Mami at some point, tactfully, and in such a way as to not undermine her...

Should be doable. The fact is, even if her power is 100% as effective as the original - and there's evidence against that already - she won't ever be as good at ribbons as Mami. Or as good at grief bullshit as us. Her advantage is versatility, and that requires a baseline of competence and practicing transferable skills. Seeking additional training shouldn't be hard to sell to Mami. Training with Kyouko in particular, on the other hand...

We could prolly just spar with her ourself. Build bonds with the blueberry, and we're somewhat competent as a melee fighter. Also avoids the mami-koko awkwardness.

We're fine as a sparring partner, but, I believe, out of our depth as a teacher. Besides, this is one of the better chances for reconciliation. If we frame it as 'melee focused meguca in the area', Mami might well consider Koko herself.

Ehhhhhhhh. While true, we're using blueberry as an excuse to get Koko on good terms with Mitakihara again and we're not too amazing at melee.

The combat harness is a thing, you know. Plus, it could be a good chance to bond with the blueberry and just improve generally in combat. We haven't interacted that much with her, which is a big part of why we're in this situation to begin with.

I already explained the difference between ugomura and kyousaya a while back I forgot to mention though that kyousaya is worst ship while ugomura is otpI'm the cursed alter koko, nobody ships me :V

If we make the Combat Harness for that, let's be very careful and specifically make it a 'Combat Harness: Training Mode', so we don't accidentally kill the Blueberry because our limbs were being guided to fight as efficiently as possible.

Also, make it as an enchanted object (with Grief aid), so Sayaka doesn't have to feel like she's fighting a Witch.

That might actually be helpful in some ways, although the option to avoid it is very much a plus.

Now that she has the meguca instincts, I kind of want to startle her with a shitload of witchy feeling grief at some point.

Trueeee (urgh combat harness) but why not both?

That was the point I was trying make.

The first feels incredibly unlikely. And the latter is unnecessary and counterproductive. She is going to be fighting alongside us from now on, after all. And we haven't even been able to do basic enchantment, yet.

I'd rather not put my faith in the Grief. A simple specification to refrain from taking a sparring match too far while we make the Harness won't take us more than a second.

Not-not making it feel Witchy is fine, I guess.

Do we really need to annoy the blueberry needlessly? :(

I like the blueberry and would like to think Sabrina's fond of her like all the other canons. Do not bully the Saya.

IMO, the only way the spar goes to far is we make it go too far. But like you said, it's not like it would really hurt anything.
