Everything is fine for Sabrina!
Except for when it isn't!
She shall do her best, always!

They'd probably actually think it's kind of reasonable - without memories, Sabrina fixated on the people she knows and the fiction she remembers, and they're who she wants to accompany her in the perfect fantasy of her barrier...

... Which doesn't explain why Sayaka gets so much more billing than Mami. Maybe there was something to that whole 'waifu' thing after all...?
...
The speech about her admirable qualities being lethal for a magical girl from Homura is pretty much spot on.

That's what makes her great at the same time. :D

Agreed and...pretty much, if somewhat more ruthless under the cheer and...well, not all their upstairs as well. Sayaka's just a fool, Sabrina's actually got a tragic case of brain damage. :p

Sabrina's mental habits are honestly not that much better than Sayaka's on a bad day, except with grief cleansing to shield us from the consequences.

Like...we've even got the perfectionist streak, brooding over failures, and self-recrimination from TDS in common.

Blueberry of justice is best canonguca.

Oh, agreed. It's so nice to come across someone who sees the light that is Sayaka's perfection.

...I thought it made me look mature...

Girl, you need some better role models in your life. I say this as someone raised by TV.

*Mmpphh!*

When you can behave.
He-he, sorry about that, Homura-chan.

Is it... too revealing?

Yes. Yes. Mmm.

...

Don't worry Momura, you pull it off better than anybody!

... Thanks. Wait, what?

I mean, Homumom- Homucif- Homura! That's what I meant to say! Homura! Want a hug, Mo- Homura-chan?

Sabrina...?

Oh God, there's two of them.
MMMPPPHHH!
What?

Excuse my deranged familiar! It's just a newborn and doesn't know what it's doing! *Drags doppelganger away*

Nothing new, then-?

*Slaps Godwinson's mouth shut*

If ensouled as a familiar I promise to hug the Mumi and persuade her to wear pants.
Change that for convincing Mumi to let her hair down a bit and I'll vote for you.

If we actually try it at some point, we should make it not-specific, so we can try many things with it.

A simple 'book of information' that will tell us anything we ask of it. Then we could try both things that aren't likely to work (divination outside our range), and things that likely would (information about our own powers' capabilities).

Well, we can do that, yes.

I think Sereg's point is that we need something that we don't know, but can verify, to check the validity of any information by magically Griefed up books. For all we know, such a magical book would only provide what we ALREADY know, or possibly a bunch of squiggly lines.

This, pretty much.

Just make it so it can give us any information our powers can give at all.

Then we know both what we can do and we can't do, the latter one due to absence.

It's just meant to reassure people that the information is accurate rather than lies.

I'm curious now. The way we made the Barrier wasn't how we usually make our Grief stuff; we analyzed how the Barrier was built, and copied that. We didn't just tell our Grief to make a Barrier.

Which is what I've been sayingand why I've been saying that it makes sense that it causes new problems our grief constructs don't.

I would like the next bit of experimentation we do when we aren't swamped by obligations to be Grief SCIENCE Science:
• Can we improve the speed/cohesion/power/finesse of our grief manipulation through grief manipulation?
• Can we access information we don't already know through grief manipulation, and if we can, can we use that to get information on grief manipulation without doing potentially dangerous or time consuming experiments?
• Can we create temporal effects such that we can avoid or minimize time lost when experimenting, traveling, or otherwise not interacting with people?

Agreed. Doing these first is the most efficient.

As for the current discussion, would Yuuno still be able to turn into a ferret and would he be able to solve our teleportation problems?

On an unrelated note, we don't really have much time to talk to Kyouko. Since lunch we spent up to an hour traveling between schools and East Mitakihara. I'm guessing our meeting with Masami took about half an hour and now we're traveling to Kasamino from East Mitakihara which is specifically in the opposite direction.

Past lunch:

10 - 20 minutes approx. Mitakihara Middle to Yokosuka
5 - 10 approx scouting Yokosuka
20 - 30 approx traveling from Yokosuka to Masami's Apartment in East Mitakihara
20 - 30 approx for our meeting with Masami and Hiroko.
??? journey from East Mitakihara from Kasamino

If we're headed to Kasamino, on conservative estimates we have maybe an hour to talk to Kyouko. Probably less if we want to make it back to the others on time.

Can't we just grief our way there at higher speeds?
The Mobile Oppression Fortress was quite fast, but we could do faster.

Adding a few good points due to time shortage.

[x]...I kind of just want to drop in for a short chat, if that's okay. Head over if she gives you the go-ahead. As fast as you possibly can. Be the speedy Sabrina. And I was wondering...Would you be interested in a possible job? Hypothetically speaking?
[x]If Kyoko asks for details, tell her it'd involve sparring with a new magical girl sometime to help her get better. Just...showing them the ropes, you know? You're good with that spear of yours. Really good, and she could probably use your help. I could pay with more grief seeds later- and by making clear seeds right now
-[x]If she presses even more, explain that she's one of your friends- Sayaka Miki. We think you two might get on like a house on fire.
-[x]And...we kind of just wanted to hang out for a bit. To talk.
-[x]Ask about Yuma.
[x]If she goes for it, thank her and talk to Mami on the way about school, how she's feeling/how things are going, and our plans for for the rest of today. Gently remind her about Oriko needing our help today, as soon as we can managed it.
-[X] Tell her you talked with Masami; she and her girlfriend agreed to look after Ono. So that's a weight off your mind.
-[x]Talk about the picnic if it seems like we need to talk about something lighter.

[x]Keep talking to Kirika too on the way. Try and take her mind off things.
