I've had three nervous breakdowns before. I wasn't okay until I had slept for any of them. And I wasn't feeling threatened by an intruder at the time. (Admittedly, I did calm down a bit, but that was only after I had been comforted)

Also, I've had to deal with a step-mother refusing to accept my apology for defending myself after she hit me one to many times (and who once threw an iron into my face). I still kept loving her and spent time with her afterwards (after she'd spent a couple of years cooling off)and she still considers me in the wrong (incidentally, so does my dad. And my sister did at the time too, until she became more experienced). Ono will have to do a lot worse before I think she doesn't deserve our help.
I'm sorry to hear that, but trying to shock Ono into accepting our words is not helping. If she does somehow believe it's not a trick we purposefully prepared to fool her, I don't see how having a corpse in her room will not make her panic further.

Shocking people doesn't mean putting her in a better emotional state. It can backfire easily.

While I would understand your position if this were real life, the fact remains that it isn't. This is fiction. A quest, specifically. Ono is a thoroughly unpleasant fictional character, and the work as a whole and all of its readers are worse off because of her presence. We have no particular reason to insist on reading more about her, especially since she'll stop appearing in the story (except as a valuable resource) if we don't.

(Aaaand someone's Soul Gem is clearly about to shatter...)
Yeahhhh no we're not going to think of her just as a burden. Like I said before, she's just a girl. An angry teenaged girl with problems. We're not going to rock her just because she's "inconvenient". None of that.

Clearly this song needs to pop up in Sabrina's head, as her 'brain damage' reminds her of just what is at stake with every magical girl:

Bonus horror points if she starts humming it while Ono rants at her. Just imagine the look on Homura's face.

Technically, just just posted this song on Sabrina's head.

---[Q] Be vaguely embarrased that you can't actually teach them because you don't know how to play.

I guess I should add that I think it's likely Kyubey has given her a Kyubey-truth version of some of our actions. The accusation that we're controlling a bunch of cronies like a mob boss seems a bit off otherwise. It makes total sense if you look at how Kyubey could present us, though. Maybe, maybe not, but a definite possibility.

Doesn't change how we treat the situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if he characterized Sabrina's actions during Meguca War as playing both sides to her own end. It's a very Kyubey sort of thing to say, I mean we did change sides part way through and ultimately got exactly what we wanted. Conveniently it will be left out that we changed sides because we found out who was the real instigator and what we wanted was peace.

Maybe another thing to point out: While she's spot on on the 'meddler' remark, the 'foreign' remark shows that she might have the popular opinion about gaijin, and is only showing it because she's in this altered state of mind.

I think it supports the idea of using her anger against her. Make her blurt out more uncomfortable truths.

It helps him that 'our own end' was pretty much entirely altruistic. Who'd believe that?

There is one phrase of logic I think should be mentioned to her.

[] -"When the Girl that almost died yesterday won't meet for the crash course on how to survive, you don't assume she knows what's best for herself!"

So we broke into your house to tell you how to not die.

Ono just asked a question.
"You broke into my house." Megane twists at her bonds, trying to work her way free. "Why should I listen to the foreign meddler and her cronies?"
We could answer. Since it's a question she made, there's a chance she'll listen to a single answer.

[] Thank Mami.
[] Honestly? Disparaging remarks aside, I find you to fragile to survive without help. When you started throwing a hissy fit tonight, I was worried you wouldn't make it until tomorrow, and well, lo and behold, you're filling up your Soul Gem about ten times faster than a depressed Magical Girl down on her luck and getting extorted out of her life line.

Maybe something else, something shorter, but we might have one shot at Ono listening to anything we have to say, if we answer this one question.

OK, I know Ono's into suicidal levels of Ononess for a meguca, but it would be hilariously sad if she accepted a duel just after getting ROFLSTOMPED by Mami.

It would make things easy for once, that would be nice. Though since she DID ask us why she should listen we could just come out and say that if this was any other city the local magical girls would have already killed her or enslaved her, the former being more likely with her attitude, rather then try to help her like us.

EDIT: Seriously, what comeback do you use to "Because we didn't kill you for being in the same city as us?"

At some point, we could point out how Kyubey left out a lot of things about the meguca life, like how it did not tell Ono about Gem corruption affecting her emotional state and, hell, didn't even tell her about telepathy.

If we want to go that way, we would just let her know normal procedure for encountering new Magical Girls in your city is to kick them out or exhort them for Seeds. Not kill them.

I kinda thought I did answer that question in my vote... Because otherwise we won't leave her alone?
I don't like the vote, but it could use some prettying up.

Haven't thought about exact wording, but ideas:
[x] We are not leaving until you listen. (Because, you are powerless to force us to leave. We'll leave only after we've made sure to get some facts through your thick skull.)
[] (Let's start with what you know: Using magic, or feeling negative emotions, both cause corruption, grief, to build up in your Soul Gem. Then, Corruption causes negative feelings. This creates a self reinforcing loop, that'll cause you to build grief exponentially, darkening your Gem extremely quick if left unchecked.)
[x] At this rate, you will run out of magic. If a magical girl runs out of magic, she dies. (Once your Gem darkens completely, you die.)
[x] If your soul gem goes dark. You die.
[X] Your constant magic use is going to kill you. (To put things simply, using magic is a great way to kill yourself, unless you can gather enough Grief Seed to pay the cost.)
[X] We have to stop that from happening. (Or you happen to know somebody who wished exactly to avoid this kind of thing from happening.)
[X] Megane, please let us help you. We don't want you to die. (Somebody who wants you to live a normal life, without life threatening fights or magical depressions. That's all. You don't have to fight alongside us, or anything. Just stay not-dead)
Direct answer.
A lead up.
She really doesn't.

Trying to clean up the Muravote.

[] To Ono: Because that's what it'll take for us to leave.
[] To Mami: Thank her.
[] (If Ono interrupts, let her rant and yell all she wants; continue after she's done) To Ono: You're using as much magic in one day as half a Magical Girl team in one week.
[] You know the Corruption build up messes with your mind, causes negative feelings; sadness, anger, depression.
[] Do you know what else causes Corruption? Negative feelings.
[] Put two and two together. Corruption grows exponentially.
[] And when it fills up your Soul Gem, you die.
