Not sure how to take that, but that's the conclusion I came to from binging on all the witch cards at the puella wiki.

Or maybe it's just blatantly obvious(ly wrong) from stuff I haven't read. <shrug>
It's not like Sabrina knows that many places, after all. And she was really quick to start calling Mami's place 'our home'.
Yeah, after writing that the only other place I could think of that might work was warehouse-kun. And that would've been pretty sad.

Makes me think about what would have happened had Sabrina chosen to create some other place instead or made something more "Witch Barrier" like. Would she have still lost all that time? Kind of too late to test that though.

Because I'm lazy...

Eh, doesn't exactly fit, but close enough to what I meant.
Let me rephrase myself:

Is this the part of the thread where we start discussing crack pairings?:V
Are you insinuating MadoKiri is a crack pairing?

Them's fightin' words, sir.

Mind, this hinges on the idea that witches don't really understand that they're witches,
Dude, we're trying to convince ourself we're not a Witch over here. Don't bring down our hopes. :p

Given the right circumstances, I could see it working. That would make for one hell of an anomalous timeline. Really the only crazier you could get would be Kirika latching on to Homura. I'm pretty sure that ends with Kirika becoming the cat that won't go away as here wish would likely give her the power to ride back with Homura when time loops.

[X] I see. It's nothing dangerous I hope?
[X] Be apologetic. It was improper of you to postpone you meeting with her at the last minute, but you hadn't done so lightly . A couple of emergencies came up that prevented you from meeting up until now. One of them was that a friend of yours got attacked by a Witch, and you and the others had to rush to help her.
-[X] You truly are sorry that you couldn't meet with her after school like you told her you would.
[X] If she doesn't want to hunt right now or is busy, then that's fine. But she should at least let you head on over and cleanse her soul gem and grief seed to make it up to her, if nothing else. And if her gem is fine then you could at least drop another grief seed with her. It would take barely a minute and we can be there very quickly if she wants. And it's vitally important to keep her soul gem clean, both for her mental state and safety.
[X] If she's still being difficult, talk to Homura. She wouldn't happen to have an idea of where Miss Ono is right now?
[X] If Homura isn't able to help, then tell the others you're going ask Oriko.

The "nothing dangerous" line feels slightly condescending, or maybe that's just me. Plus, I'm not sure what to replace it with.

I hope that she gets less hostile after we talk to her or that she's really alright. It's getting a little tiring having to run roughshod over people to help.

There might be a way...
seeing Kirika's perspective on love, I'm pretty sure Homura would be her personal hero if she ever learned her full story. And she'd probably get the problem with "your girlfriend's alternate time double once murdered the person she loves"

Man, would be nice if we could be more free with Homura's metaknowledge. add that to the things we need to talk about

One of them was that a friend of yours had almost gotten killed, and you had to help her.
Would there be some value in specifying 'by a Witch'?

For some reason I can't bring myself to really care about what happens to Ono. Sabrina extensively apologizing to her for reschudling the afterschool meeting somehow doesn't seem right to me either.

Maybe it's just because Ono's stubborness reminds me a bit of Akiko after she revealed her crazy.

Most of the votes so far are probably a bit too long considering that Ono has already expressed that she is busy (and/or passive-aggressively annoyed at us). Out of concern for her time (and patience), we should be brief. Given Ono's attitude, checking if she wants help with whatever it is that she's busy with is probably a waste of time. The most important thing is to determine if Ono's soul gem is in immediate danger. Apologizing for missing the meeting is fine, but we already did that and repeating the apology or making excuses won't help unless we accompany it with in-depth explanation, which we do not have time for at the moment. We could conceivably shock Ono into compliance by casually mentioning Sayaka's near death experience, but I'm leery as to how well that would work.

[X] Tell Ono that we've been worried about her and ask if she has cleansed her soul gem last and what her soul gem and the grief seed look like.
-[X] If Ono hasn't cleansed her soul gem recently, ask her to do so.
-[X] If it sounds like the soul gem is in critical condition (or if Ono refuses to answer), then insist on meeting with her for her safety.
--[X] If she's still being difficult, talk to Homura. She's checked up on Megane recently hasn't she? She wouldn't happen to have an idea of where she is right now?
-[X] If Ono's soul gem is clear, then check if we can schedule a meeting for later.

Note that (if Ono continues to be reluctant) this vote stops after asking Homura about Ono's whereabouts. We can decide in the next vote whether or not we want to ask Oriko or if we want to Timestop and search for her.

It's because after dealing with crisis after crisis, Ono seems stupidly petty. OK, Ono is being stupidly petty, considering she knows Soul Gem corruption affects her mental state, but maybe that's just her powers acting up, or maybe she had a few really bad days (she did make a wish, after all/we did find her crying).

And from her perspective, we've been rather less than kind, pushing her to 'join' our group, calling to meet her to help her out as a new meguca, then blowing her off.

Considering how horribly new she's to meguca-ing, and how she seems to place a lot of faith in social structures, hierachy and what not, she must have really been looking forward to our meeting, so she could start growing out of the newbie spot, while at the same time despising the fact that, after becoming a Magical Girl, she's still getting pushed around by somebody stronger than her.

Yeah, Sabrina probably seems pretty pushy from Ono's perspective.

To be honest we can't really say anything definite about Ono's character or motivations, since the only time we saw her without her magic actively disguising her emotions was, when we first approached her in timestop. Depending on how much her power warps her actual character she could be anything from hyperactive to extremely shy.

That's probably also the most interesting thing about Ono to me. That we don't really know who she is right now. We don't know anything about her circumstances, besides the fact that she was desperate or naive enough to make a wish to an alien bunnycat. Since she was crying, when we first met her, desperation the more likely motivation for the wish.

Dang, we shouldn't of put Ono off, which we did because we made a blunder with the Barrier, which may have helped trigger a more immediate crises (Sayaka getting Witch kissed)...

Dang, is Firn trying to make us scared to use our own powers? It's kind of working, at least for me...

Feathers definitely destroyed, or at least hindered our Barrier tech tree.

But we shouldn't be afraid. Remember that the reason Sabrina's got these 'OP' abilities is because we'll need them. We've got to use our powers, even if we might think they're compromised. No choice.
