Eh. We want to get on good terms with Mami since Homura's only real questions for Walpurgisnight are a)will you be a liability, b)will you make a Madoka death or Contract likely. We can work on therapy for her more slowly than Mami.
(I've been looking for a reason to use that.)

Ask her to actually ask Mami if she can heal Kyousuke, when we're less of a complete outcast/stranger and more of a trusted acquaintance.

Yellow bitch is a sad, lonely girl who puts on a mask to conceal the fact she's about one major revelation away from snapping. She's also got two of three other potential team members on her side (and that's not counting Kyouko...), can be kept alive with some effort, and is probably going to be better for minmaxing Sabrina's powers than Homu would be...even with the called attacks she'd inevitably go for.
Homura's more or less "stable", and is far, far less likely to open up/give useful information. We definitely want to keep in contact with her since she's much more reliable than Mami and we have to mend bridges, but leaving Mami is a misstep at this point. The Homura route'll probably close more doors than it opens- it'll make dealing with Mami herself trickier, the Sayaka thing'll be even more of a headache than it already is, Homura herself isn't exactly forthcoming/a people person and is doing this at least in part to make dealing with us easier if we need a gangland execution...And Murderface stopped trusting anyone about 90 loops back, let alone the anomaly with swiss cheese for a brain.
Right now, Homura is definitely more dependable overall, but that's exactly why we shouldn't go with her. Mami gives more short-term opportunities- and is a timebomb. You don't deal with timebombs by walking off and hoping they defuse.
Let's not risk things half an episode before the Cheese Incident- If we're not there if it happens, Madoka is, and Mami has even more reason to resent Homura...

She's still got enough compassion to try, beyond "it'd upset Madoka that these people are dead" and despite her own words, but it's not something we can rely on- especially given the last time she ran into a strange meguca unexpectedly.
