If we have to do this, Oriko and Kirika could do with a warning, that what we do will feel like a witch and maybe ask for permision beforehand?
Oriko may hate those bushes, but asking doesn't hurt.
 
Yeah, asking makes us seem less... well I guess the closest thing would be a Kami wandering past and uprooting things with barely a thought. Less like that.

Did we use witch stuff in Sendai combat? I can't recall doing that.

But if it reversed itself and we used it to, say, protect Mami, then when she left our range to go to school she should have burns and holes in her.

Assuming the problem is that there's still some grief being used for repairs, we could try a two or three step healing, maybe? First, witchy-augmented healing; second, temporarily stabilizing the regrown arm with witchy grief; third, removing and replacing all grief from the arm with non-grief flesh.

Of course, we've only got assumptions as to why the healing would've failed.

We could just try making a grief construct to boost/amplify our healing, but specifically with the intention of not having grief being part of the healed tissue when making said construct. If our imagination is the limit, then we should be able to make it work.

Maybe that just can't happen. If the grief is to aid, it might need to get involved in a way that needs Sabrina's presence to work.

We should mess with witchy effects next time we visit Warehouse-kun.

Imagination is not the only limit, unfortunately. When we tried to imbue grief with the idea of permanence, all we got was a headache and the grief still dissipated as normal when it got outside our range. Still, it's worth trying. If the machine doesn't use grief, it would require an alternate source of biological material - but we could easily feed it leaves or meat from the grocery store or something.

Idea: Can't give a grief object the property of 'permanence' since the changes we've made to it were already as permanent as our will, and 'more permanence' would kind of mean that we couldn't change it afterwards, which flies in the face of our wish?
