Simple means Firn won't have much to work with, and a really short update which isn't really desirable.

What do we do after that, then?

Then that should be part of the vote at least? As it is, it seems like that might just cut off after a paragraph which feels like a waste.

I strongly doubt Firn will leave it at a paragraph. Either Mami will want to do something else, or more likely, I think she'll just fall asleep here. Meh. I'm not particularly inclined to rush anything right now.

How bad is it?

Probably worse than anything you'd think if you didn't know that you didn't know, but still probably not quite as bad as anything you might think of if you did know that you didn't know.

Firn has said before that Sabrina is capable of making conversation without being specifically told to do so.
@Muramasa
Even so, this vote as phrased invites further questions about the Witchbomb.
Isn't it the same answer as your vote, just without the forced change of subject?

The wording seems to invite the question "how are you going to fix it and what", which while we're not going to answer...I'd rather just avoid that coming up.

[X] Some of it's pretty tame...or just really, really weird, but the worst of it...is really bad. Thankfully...I think I can fix it, at least partially.

'Fix it' 'Break the system', make up your mind, Sabrina :V

It just seems to be oversimplified for its own sake, and loses content because of it. There goes any reassurance, asking her if she wants to talk about it, saying we'll stay with her, talking about fluff, actually telling her anything if need be...I'd rather not make Firn have to guess what we want here. Also, the wording invites questions which is BAD. And we're forgetting that we're probably being eavesdropped on.

Look... this is already an exhausting day (thanks to that buk chicken). after the next update why don't we relax. Give sabrina and mami a break.

Do you think people only talk about stuff when asked? This whole conversation has been us asking if she wants to talk about it.
I think that the short-vote fails to take into account if Mami wants to keep talking about it, and leaves it completely up to Firn, meaning we'll need to write in a vote AGAIN if it comes up two lines into the conversation.

Yes, but that vote doesn't do that at all so much as IGNORE everything after a short, factual reply.

Shadowrunning HARD. Come on Ugo. Put a lid on the paranoia would you?

I sincerely doubt Firn is going to railroad us into the witch bomb. He's also very capable of reading the thread on his own and knows our intentions pretty well at this point. He's also very good at keeping notes. Even with a one line vote, there will be content.

Eh, why not?

It doesn't cover much at all. It's like saying [q]Do things. in a vote.

The other votes are repeats of doing what we're already doing (redundancy) and pushing Mami to ask questions (which you then went back and complained about).

:confused:

Waiting is a perfectly viable option. We already told Mami she can ask questions and we'll answer (atleast some of them). No need to push her more on this.

@Muramasa

...Pushing? It asks if she wants to keep talking about it and specifies what to tell her if so, as opposed to leaving things open-ended by dropping a tidbit. That's not pushing at all. Redundancy is fine, but it covers something important by reinforcing that the secrets have nothing to with us staying with her.

It's not waiting so much as failing to specify an approach or dialogue at all. If Firn salvages a post out of that oneliner, it'll be in spite of the write-in, not because of it.

Yea, if Mami doesn't pursue it any further, Sabrina should have enough agency do decide what to do from there. (Fluff, tea, bed, whatever)

If Mami does question further, then that seems sufficiently important and sensitive that Firm would want another vote for it, leading to a potentially very short update.

So, I guess the question is that how likely Mami will just drop it for tonight vs questioning further, and whether that is worth the risk of a short update and not having a potentially suboptimal conditional vote.
