Aw... nobody wants to see if we can learn any new tricks on the way home?

It's not like anything else is going on during the flight back.

The Ishinomaki-Sendai flight already proved we can fiddle and talk at the same time.
Dude, we are this close to collapsing as it is. Messing with grief while you're dead tired seems like a great way to get something to blow up in our faces.

[x] Trust in Rin. She'll call us if anything changes.
[X] Update Chouko on the situation
[x] Go home. Drop Kirika off with Oriko then go home.
[x] Collapse into bed, huggle the Mumi.

Voting for the Huggles I'm not even looking at the rest of the vote look at me so responsible.

...I'm sorry. I can't comprehend not huggle Mami if given chance.

Eh, more frankenvote fodder. It just feels like there's probably something that can be done here.

[] Note that one of the other magical girls back home might have some advice, but she's almost certainly asleep by now. You'll give her a poke anyways, but in all likelihood you'll probably have to wait until tomorrow to run things by her.
-[] Give Oriko a quick poke to see if she's awake. If she's asleep, it can wait. If she's awake, run things by her and see if she has any input. Adjust plans accordingly.

[] If Akiko's condition persists, they may wish to get in contact with an empath or something. You think the UG happen to know one, if that helps.

(The group they were going to call in did have an empath, right?)

I think poking Oriko isn't necessary. I don't think she can offer Rin anything. If anything, it's to assuage our own fears that 1) Akiko isn't going to witch overnight and 2) that the disaster we came here to avert was actually averted. If you want to add it, phrase the vote like that. And also remember we're trying to not give any hints of precog to anyone.

Anyway, just a few very quick refinements, because I don't want to charge in and relax Oriko's house arrest tomorrow while Mami's at school without consulting her first:

[x] On the way home, bring up that Kirika deserves some serious thanks for everything she's done for us today, and that Oriko saved a lot of lives and blindly trusted us with her girlfriend's, seeking Mami's opinion.
[x] Go home. Drop Kirika off with Oriko, cleanse Oriko & the seed you left her, then go home.
[x] Collapse into bed, huggle the Mumi.

Eh, I think this is something that should be addressed when everyone isn't dead tired.

It'd mostly be to give her an update and let her know Kirika's going to be back soon, I just figured she may have some input on top of that. Should probably also let Homura know everything's mostly set as well, assuming she's not asleep herself.

And now my shadowruns are starting to act up, thinking that Oriko may have also slept away a good portion of the day so she'd be able to stay up later than normal should the need arise.

I think we need to bring it up before we take unilateral action, and chances are good we want a private discussion with Oriko without Mami tomorrow. Yeah, it would be better to bring it up when we aren't dead tired, but there's not really going to be opportunity to except by telepathy. And if we have to persuade, it would be more effective with a sleeping Kirika right there as a reminder.

Now's not the time for that. Sleep first, we'll bring this stuff up tomorrow when Kirika isn't sleeping and everyone else isn't 2 steps away from knocking out.

Last time we poked Oriko to see if she was awake, it went:
"Oriko, are you awake?" you ask, reaching out telepathically. You're not going to go haring across the city, randomly searching for Akiko. Especially not with Sakura helping her.

A long moment. "No," the seer replies, tone annoyed. "What do you want?"

@Krecart: Okay, adding that to my vote (when I find it).

Don't actually wish to go to SPAAACE today, after all, and we better do something during travel whether or not we are tired. Seems like simple and clean fun that cannot blow up in our faces, unlike talking about Kirika/Oriko.

Hm.. Though I'll grant at least getting a preliminary apology off to Mami before we fall asleep would probably be good.

A whispered "I'm sorry. Thank you." into her shoulder before we fall asleep? I'm almost wondering if Sabrina will do this without our prompting, though.

I really don't think Mumi's in a state to put up appearances.

Dangerous to make assumptions, though. She'll do what she wants to do.

And I'd rather not keep on putting things off, when this could be a less-than-five-minute conversation without much trouble.
