We might want to tell Rin and/or Sakura that we want to talk with Akiko about Setsuko later when she's a little less mindcrushed. We realize that like hell is Akiko going to want to talk to us, but she and we might need to talk about it anyway. It could help.
(or horribly mindcrush her even worse, whichever)

Other than that, probably all that's left is to figure out grief cleansing schedule or decide to set one up later, and then skedaddle. There's not much else we can do here at the moment.

I don't like your implication. Are you perhaps suggesting that Best Buddy is not entirely adorable when she's trying to eviscerate somebody?




And now for the real challenge of the day... Can we take Kirika home without waking her up?

Ribbon bed from Mami should do the trick.
If Homura didn't notice Mami's ribbons when she was awake, Mami should be able to get Kirika on a ribbon bed before we cart everyone back to Mitakihara.

It might also be agood idea to inform Ishinomaki about everything that happened, but I guess that can wait until tomorrow, since they might already be sleeping.

If we really want to piss of Sakura we can ask her for a teleport...

Another thought for next time: If Akiko broke hard enough to give up her vendetta for Setsuko's 'death,' then we may not even need to chase that rabbit hole. No need to witchbomb Akiko (if she doesn't know already) if she's not going to run off on her own to go kamikaze on Setsuko's supposed murderers. We'll still need to have a follow-up conversation at some point to figure out the odds her doing something exceptionally stupid (or just ask Oriko), but we may actually be able to stop making Akiko's life progressively more frustrating.

@Silver: Sure, but I think Sakura half-intended something along the lines of store policies in "you break it, you buy it" before Rin shushed her.

This Kato thing still isn't solved indeed, so might as well leave a message.

[X] @Rin: Ask her to mind Akiko's Soul Gem,call us if needed for Grief Seed filling up and when she is in better state, tell her that we still wish to get to the bottom of what she last told us.
[X] Give an update to University Group: Akiko is in shock, and note to call us when a grief seed happens to be filled up ahead of schedule
[X] Ask Mami to make Akiko a blanket if she can.
[X] Ask Mami to carry Kirika on ribbons.
[X] Once you're 100m away, Grief Jet home.
[X] Try to turn Grief into new things on the ride home. Fire, water, marzipan, whatever.

What could we tell Chouko? Nothing actually happened.

EDIT: I guess that's something. Tell her Akiko's unresponsive for now?

I just wanted to give her a quick update on the situation.
Aside from Akiko being unresponsive nothing major happened, but I think that warrants a quick update by itself.
Just reassure them that they have nothing to fear from Akiko at the moment and tell we're leaving now and to call us when they need their seeds cleansed.
Something along those lines.
 
Omake"Alright, let's head home, now. Can you take Kirika, Mami?"

"Yes." Mami nods, and gently wraps ribbons under Kirika, carrying her in front of you two.

Grief billows around, forming into a sleek cockpit with 3 reclining seats.
Mami lays down Kirika on one, and gives blankets for each of them.

As you sit down on it, the dome closes, with a twist of will rendering it transparent.
As Mami yawns, you immediately follow. She smiles at you, and you smile right back.

"Well, time to head off. Today has been long."

"Indeed." Mami says, as she rests her head on her left hand. You start accelerating, and keep flying in companionable silence. The landscape blurs around you, and you get to watch how Mami nods off.

*Yawn*

Now, you're lone driver in this thing. The landscape passes by, and the light of cities slowly disappears.

And you nod off"Bwuh?! How?"

You hear some exclamation. 'Well, never mind it, let's keep driving'.

"Sabrina? Sabrina!"

Then you feel yourself being shaken. Groggily, you open your eyes to see Kirika looking at you. She appears to have panicked expression on her face.

"Oh. Did I fall asleep?"

Next to you, Mami seems to stir.

"Eh- Yes you did! I can't call Oriko! You took us into space!"

Glancing past Kirika, you see it is ,indeed, full of stars. Beneath your eyes, the half-moon seems closer, and as you turn your head you see the Earth being left behind you.

"Oh. Oops. Hey, Kirika, how important do you think not being late for school is? Journey back might be a little uncomfortable, but I can go much faster when returning."

Mami wakes up, and looks at Kirika: "Hey, what's the matter? Are we still flying?"

Who however ignores her: "School? I want to talk with Oriko! Get us back as fast as possible."

"Yeah. Roger, roger, Kirika. Time to head back, enjoy the view and sit tight in your seats."

A twist of effort creates seatbelts for everyone, and a sharp turn sees Kirika landing on them.

"This might be a little uncomfortable."

You start driving towards Earth, and increase the acceleration that you ZOOOOM at till your eyeballs are pressed into your skull. Glancing, you see that Mami is still groggy.

Meanwhile, Kirika asks "Can you go faster?"

And you reply "Yes."
