Today sucked. Cuddles are nice. We're trying to avoid her being dependent on us, but this is entirely about seeking comfort on our end because I will reiterate today sucked.

I mean if we're avoiding that we ought to be stopping her from being so physically affectionate in general, no?

Finally finish reading the quest. Not much to say right now so have some random idea for grief science. Grief + flamethrower

Well, from tomorrow on, let's tell them the Mami that accidentaly 'falling off' the bed and onto the mattress is not OK.

Just reassure them that they have nothing to fear from Akiko at the moment and tell we're leaving now and to call us when they need their seeds cleansed.

While I can see not wanting to give Rin cleansing notes lest we overwhelm her, why not give them to Chouko?

Unfortunately, she'd probably just take that the wrong way and think we're punishing her for something or other. I don't really think sleeping together is much of a problem. After all, its something we're going to almost always be around to do. It would be better to concentrate on making her more independent in other directions, if she needs comfort to stave off nightmares I don't really want to deny her that.

Not really? We want to avoid Mami being overly dependent on us, which is one of those things that can only be solved through time and encouraging her to interact with others more. Cuddling is only really tangentially related to that.

It's not like anything else is going on during the flight back.

The Ishinomaki-Sendai flight already proved we can fiddle and talk at the same time.

Seriously, why does nobody want to take a few minutes of flight time to do a bit of relaxing science?

Oh, I didn't think making some excess Grief turn into to stuff would be disruptive or anything. Something to do on the flight home besides trying not to fall asleep.

I wasn't suggesting messing with Seeds and it doesn't conflict with hugs. Don't even need our hands to do it.

It's the same type of thing we did when we made the windshield for SA-002.

Just a thought, but maybe poke Oriko and Homura to give them an update as well? Gently, of course, on the chance they're asleep. Also a chance Oriko might have some input if she's still awake.


Edit: Thinking on it, asking what Akiko's wish was might help. If they ask why, it's easy enough to explain that if her wish was on the esoteric side she might be suffering some kind of feedback.
