I'm looking forward to whatever technological advance that will allow us to have an "Administrative Strain" rating included on the civilization sheet. Doesn't even have to be quantified, just a descriptive word would be fine.

Also, we still have we have reserves
AN actually fixed that not too long ago, iirc.

Also, damn, i didn't have time to do my analysis before my errands for the day :/ I guess i'll do that in a few hours then? @Academia Nut i already asked it but its the most important of my questions cause it'll decide which of the winning votes i go for: how likely is it that Pop Explosion pays out one more time? Is it still (about) the 95% chance from last turn?

Changing vote due to red martial:

[X] [Mega] Upgrade Best of the Best to Life of Arete
[X] [Main] International Games
[X] [Secondary] Found Mercenary Company
[X] [Secondary] Change Policy - Megaproject Support
[X] [Guild] Grand Docks

Hopefully we will get a trails option in the mid turn.

Hmm. I'm a little curious to see how Arete develops - if it stratifies more (because let's face it, our nobles aren't as entrenched as the Greeks were) or if it creates more opportunities.

Knowing the resident sheep, it'll spontaneously spawn feudalism :V

Some level of stratification is just unavoidable in a pre-industrial environment, simply because the people with the most time to train and learn are the ones with the most leisure time to train and learn, which are the rich and successful.

You get the occasional hero or genius who's just naturally that fucking good, and that our society can make use of these people instead of destroying them is to their credit, but ultimately, by default, our best people are going to come from a limited subset of our populace.

Civilization Stats

General
Diplomacy 10 [+1]
Economy 14 [-2+14]
-Sustainable Forests 12/14
-Econ Expansion 18 [+2-14]
Martial 20 {25}
Wealth 2 [+6-2]

Cultural
Culture 15 (+1)
Mysticism 16 (+6) [+2]
Tech 6
Prestige 65

Stability
Stability 1 (optimistic)
Legitimacy 3 (max)

Organizational
Centralization 3
Hierarchy 7
Religious Authority 4

Statuses
King of the Hill: You are the most prestigious polity around, gaining you +1 Diplomacy a turn, but all other groups gain the 'Take the Crown' casus belli
Baby Boom:
Converting 7 Econ Expansion to 7 Econ a turn
Population Explosion: Converting 7 Econ Expansion to 7 Econ a turn
Efficient Economy: +1 Wealth/turn while above Econ 10

So, I went back to do some of the math for the Games+Docks plan and made an effort to incorporate reformers.

Econ: 14+12=26-4-1=21-4(Overflow->Wealth)=17

Wealth: 2+4=6+1(Efficient Economy)+4(Overflow)=11(Ding fucking Ding) I think I did the math right on the overflow there.

Diplo: 10-9=1+1+1=3

Culture: 15+1=16-9=7[+27](Reformers refund) (Holy hell. Reformers refunds the total cost of any cultural megaproject directly as culture points.) (That will pretty much fill both mysticism and tech up and push diplo to 14) (EDIT: As per WoAN, the first reformers refund was an accident and this is not what the refund will look like. That would be broken.)

Mysticism: 16+6=22-9=13+2=15+2(refund ... I think)

Tech: 6

Stability: 1+1(Wealth Over 10)=2

Centralization: 3+1=4

Since Forest Policy went through, I don't see much reason for even more Forestry.

I wonder if HK is currently rebuilding it's military in a hurry or if they do it slowly, because they think we wouldn't attack anyway.

Naturally - I'm just curious about the effects of this particular national spirit.

So, next turn we actually do need to split off a mercenary company as our martial is yellow and red with the Swords and Plowshares bonus. Retraining just wont work as our stats are just too full as a result of the reformers refund of the International Games. We need another one anyway to remain flexible or send up the northern trade post.

Also, I fucked up the payout for Culture from Reformers last turn (I forgot the initial cost), but decided that the war boosted it. Don't expect the payouts to be quite that good in the future.
So it doesn't pay back the full cost of a social megaproject as culture? Does it just pay back the culture points, or.....?

A little late and will not change vote out of spite(though I was close to it)

@pbluekan If someone posts their vote and nothing related to the vote discussion, please do not badger them. It is rude.
