Though, wow, this coming fight is about to go down in history, legend, and myth.

The Dragon General, Chosen of the Crow, leading the Ymaryn armies into war.

vs.

The God-King, Lord of the Khmetri, commander of the Khmetri armies.

God vs. Dragon, Desert vs. Trees.

Who shall be victorious?!

This war has to go down in the history books. How would modern historians interpret this? Are there any RL equivalents?

I just can't get over us possible winning a three front war. I mean if three nation's, even two are small, can't take us out then almost nothing will for a long time.
Maybe something like the Seven Days' War?

Also, that was such a good, cathartic update. I'm glad my worries were washed away so quickly.

So are we SURE magic isn't real!?

I think this is going to be debated in years to come like with the real-life Joan d'Arc. Was she mentally ill, only hallucinating a culturally significate symbol (crows) and got lucky in her military victories or was she guied by a higher power (will be even more important should Crow still be a major religious figure in the future.)

Not out of the Red yet mate. We're on the beink of losing the Red Banner and Gulvalley whilst on -1 stability.
We lose Gulvaley we take a kick to the teeth via Divine Stewards that we simply can't take. We will collapse, we will die.

I'd say possibly The 3rd Punic War or the 2nd Persian Invasion of Greece
I can't really think of a good precedent, but I'd say it'd go down more like the Second Punic War, especially with the whole "don't worry, we have reserves" attitude we have, as well as the fact that this war will determine who gets to rule the world.

[X] [TH] Accept token tribute (+1 Wealth, +1 Stability, +1 Prestige, end of war)
[X] [HK] Attempt a White Peace (Good chance of being accepted, +1 Stability if accepted)
[X] [Berserk] 1 Stability
[X] [Berserk] No

Switching to an approval vote on Berserk.

Our people still view keeping the dead as they are and generally not interacting with them as fairly sacred still. I doubt they would do that, though someone in the Trelli (assuming they are still alive enough) might do that.

There's nothing stopping us from stripping him of his regalia and defiling that, while burying his naked corpse in an unmarked grave. Rulhythyn pioneered this method of dealing with enemy kings.

I'm not sure why, but right now I'm imagining Yenyna taking control of the remnants of the Red Banner and painting their armor red with the blood of the Khemetri.
...This update put me in a weird head space.

The 7 day'ss war happened right after ww2 and the formation of the israeli state. The whole arab sector basically decided 'you know what fuck that' and israel kicked em in the teeth.
I think. Didn't ewxactly google this

It's actually the Six-Day War, but it actually only last five days and it happened two decades after WW2.
