If that is Bronze Eastern TH has....then that is most likely to be the big thing the Metal Workers have been a fuss about.

There's at least a thousand miles between the two and they have never met given that the metal workers are to the far west.

You have no contact with the Eastern Thunder Horse, only the more familiar Western Thunder Horse, who are slowly transitioning over to being called the Thunder Speakers.

We really shouldn't get ahead of ourselves. Bronze traded halfway across the world isn't going to do us much good and a trade mission obviously isn't a guarantee of tech exchange. Get the copper first, then we worry about bronze and iron.

We can let the provinces finish The Garden.

Not a huge fan. Let us assume it gets 2 turns through (since we'll be distracted by other stuff by then)

T1: 1 progress on garden (spending 3 econ while at 5)
T2: starting at 2+3, spending 1 = 3 province progress available: not certain to complete The Garden.
(+5 added during the turn I think, so not available until the mid-turn for provinces)

Also you don't get a new province action for a long time, did you mean Black River instead of Stonepen?
Wah?

I get East Hills in Step 7. A bit late yes but that's okay since it completes everyone's pet projects.

Step 1: The provinces take Garden actions.

Step 2 is a mid turn.

Step 3: Finish the Garden.

Check my math again. Though since we get four province actions in Step 7 I'm gonna have to rejigger that a bit. Not actually a problem though.

I'm not sure what all i'm voting for yet, but just a reminder that we're at the stability cap, and if we finish the garden next turn we'll waste the bonus stability, so there's no reason not to kick:

I think we can burn a point of stability for the garden project, also copper-copper-copper for the all the things. +3 now would do nicely as provinces are support the project too.

Stability 3 (emboldened)

Second edit: Totally forgot the -3 econ for secondary copper mine....

At the same time though, Trade Mission are helpful for the flow of information. We would have had no idea about the bronze if we hadn't sent trade missions out. They help us see how the situation is with our neighbors. It gives a chance to help them out for rewards, or at the very least give a chance to see when they are going to start acting up again.

There is also the fact that we are trading with their hated enemy. Unless we want some of that to bleed onto us, we should ensure good relations with them.

Hmm... I think we really want to have Copper this turn. We can either work on the megaproject ourselves(+kick) and virtually guarantee completion (via symphony bonus) or kick it but only put province effort in while also expanding.

I think I don't mind waiting an extra turn to finish the megaproject on the off chance we get lucky on only needing 3 or 4 out of a potential 6.

Are the Bleeding Cliffs supposed to be a settlement location? We found them but they're not on the list.

Secondary or main copper mine both provide additional effects, so there's no need for a main right now.
We need to [main] it if we want any chance of the megaproject completing.
Your plan... I'm not actually sure what the provinces will do.
We're at 5 econ now. You spend 3 on the mine, at 2. Provinces do one megaproject action and drop to 1, but the kick drops to 0. They don't want to go to 0. They might not work on the megaproject at all.

....Huh. That raises more questions and speculations. It could be that ETH managed to find bronze on their own....or it could be that whatever the MW got are much more important.

Also, for the uninitiated, how big of a huge deal is it for a civ to gain bronze in this stage of history?

...Aren't they at war with them? how and why would they help us trade with their enemies?
Ehh, I could see the war going several ways. Especially since they've shown themselves to be able make friends with enemies.

What's the urgency on the Southern Shores?

Yeah, just remembered the initial 3 econ investment, updated to double copper mine.

Currently, the mega project will complete in 1-2 turns with just the provinces (not including the kick).

We want to do Copper Mine as a Main if we want benefits this turn. As a Secondary, we only get the Econ boost next turn, whereas if we do it as a Main it's this turn. That to me represents when we'll get the benefits of the action.

Primarily, that we get an extra action once we get 2 more provinces. We need to expand more, since having more people and more land is always a good thing.
Southern Shores and Eastern Hills seem like the best candidates due to being closer to Valleyhome and not open to nomads. Southern Shores is land that the HK might actually try to get so we want to claim it first, whereas the Eastern Hills are land that no one really would ever want.

We also want to drop Centralization so that we can make trails and/or Enforce Law without risking it going too high.
