Honesty I am actually for gardens because it is also a land management option so if we start and complete it in one turn we will be at stab 2 because +1 from the bonus and +1 from divine stewards for completing a land management mega project

@Academia Nut How long will the special for the Garden and Saltern mega projects last, 1 turn or 2?
Special Note: Because of the discovery of needing clean water and large amounts of salt to most effectively fight these sorts of disease, starting the Saltern or the Garden next turn will provide +1 Stability as the People are assured that the king is being proactive in protection against demons
It only lasts 1 turn.

Yeah, but Gardens is primary Economy, in that it directly increases agricultural output, and is likely to add at least 2 points of Economy independent of Stewards, which would be able to cover the maximum possible expense of the Saltern, while the reverse is not necessarily true.

False. It is a plumbing works. All our land in Valley home has complete irrigation works.

[X] A significant number (-1 Stability, +2 Econ)
[X] Share with friendly groups (Chance of other effects)
[X] Megaproject Support

[] Keep it secret
[] Share with friendly groups
Will need to combine if they want to overcome:
[] Share with even those who don't want to listen

My reason for sharing with friendly tribes:
To my understanding there are 4 big players in the lowland battle royal: HK, TH, DP and eastern TH. This means that prolonged war over the lowlands among these 4 is close to inevitable. So, We don't even need the disease to ruin them. Why not strengthen the two more friendly tribes around (HK and TH) and have them deal with the "invaders" (DP and ETH). If this leads to a clear cut victory of the defenders we will still have the two of them to play of against each other. Right now doing nothing increases the chance of the "invaders" winning and us having hostile kingdoms on our southern and eastern borders once again.

What if we start both the Garden and the Saltern?

Edit: They'll suck 2 econ per turn, but our providences will easily be able to afford that.

It takes 3-6 actions to complete the garden if we double main the garden and the provinces also do an action to help the mega project we can get +1 stability from the special bonus and another +1 from stewards when it is completed
Double main means we did 2 out 3-6, so no.

Unless you mean double main plus kickers which means -2 Stability, so double no.

Thinking with coffee. jepg

It's possible, but we better have economy expansion policy for provinces.

But we will be without ability to react to anything. So high risk with equally high reward? About as sane as the full complexity tax system.

@Academia Nut
How's the March faring in this mess? I assume the nomadic raiders are passing them the pestilence too?

Did they import bees and forest animals when they expanded forests?

Double main with Megaproject support giving 1 would give us 3 total, though we'd probably need another to fully finish.
I imagine the three turn due to doing supporting projects during those three turns to reduce difficultly.

Wishful thinking and not to depend on.

They are fine, but too long as peripheral will cause us problems, word of AN.

I suggest expanding north to help integrate them.

I am pretty sure we can do only one. It's a megaproject. Those are meant to require enormous effort and manpower.

Oh, I've got a question. @Academia Nut

Can we over-complete a megaproject to make it more grand or efficient?

Say we do 3 actions +kicker for gardens, and find that it'll still take another action to complete. If we do that action with our policy set to support megaprojects, would they also contribute resulting in 6/5 actions? What if we intentionally overdid it with a kicker?

Would we get a supermegaproject sized garden if we spent 8 actions over 2 turns on a 5 action project?
