-Plague. We have a lot of experience with bioweapons and plagues. Each time we had to deal with them we made sure to get all the data we could and study them. Let's make our own plagues and unleash them on unwitting populations. The plagues should be ultimately harmless - stuff like making people's hair fall out or making their eyes itch. Since we'd have the antidotes/vaccines, Karada would make a lot of money.

This seems dangerous politically and biologically - even a nuisance bioweapon is still taking things up to a new level of criminal unpleasantness, which people will be shocked and appalled by, and what if a nuisance bioweapon mutates into something really dangerous?

Also, people will have lives ruined and will be killed even by nuisance infections - just by being the straw that broke their back. I feel this is crossing the line morally.

-Sell water to desert planets. Moisture farming is a thing. It's a canon thing. More than that, it's noted to be a vital industry. Water is the third cheapest thing after dirt and air. Collect water from one planet, sell it to the desert planets. Should make massive returns on investments and all it'll cost is the livelihoods of some unimportant peasants who we can then exploit. The water trade itself would be Investment, but the profit margins would be so insane it doesn't matter. The peasant exploitation would probably be Silver Cross.

Maybe water is too cheap to transport like that profitably? While transport by starship in Star Wars seems to be cheap, it would still cost something.

-Nemoidia: Expand Baktoid Production Lines profitably. It's a waste of credits to use the Nemoidia factory for personal use droids when we have Kiln for that. Kiln has a 40% discount on upkeep and Nemoidia does not. Instead, have our factory expand its production lines and sell the droids to the Separatists. Just like with the Fort Garnik Depot, the fact that it's selling military hardware means this income should count as Military instead of Investment.

I kinda like this, but that is my pro-CIS bias speaking.

Go reread the Gods and Monsters Arc, Ciaran states that after seeing Wesker's creations that bioweapons are 'too messy' to be used by her organisation. Not to mention the Clone Commandos wiped any data that could be used to manufacture them and then we had to Base Delta Zero the planet due to a sentient body possessing plague was there.

It's actually surprising how many of the CIS' complaints are actually true.

Time for another omake count! Note that, with the Chu'unthor now online and our new Oracle 'Grand Fleet' coming up in 'Results Pt. 2', we need to plan for at least one and probably two additional actions next turn. Since the cap this turn was 42, that means next turn's cap would be at 46.
Over the last 13 pages, we've added five omakes to the list, which means we've reached the full cap for next turn, and have added 1 omake bonus to the bank for the following turn!
Also note that we only spent 38 (out of 42) omake bonuses this past turn -- neither the Foundry Assault nor our 'Personal Attention' actions required omake bonuses. So that gives us +4 to the omake count for Turn 28, which means we're starting out at 5.

Over the last thirty pages, we've added eleven more omakes, giving us a total of 16 omake bonuses toward next turn's actions.

So in the end how's Darra? Last I heard she's salty and passed out cuz she didnt get some maintenance done on her robo lungs?

She's still functional and can still move last we heard, just that she isn't operating at full capacity, due to her refusing to go to our medical company for maintenance.
Guess an action for smoothing some of that may be too much for the actual importance of Darra as things stand. should that be in the autorithy of omakes or maybe something can change if Ferrus Olin joins our cause?

I mean. its kind of a loose end by this point, and she not working at 100% ...well she's one gregarious Jedi and should hang around Anakin's orbit of friendships when he's in the temple since she's...you know. not dead. Seem like there's some plot potential there.

Aha. indeed. I could try my hand at whipping up something, though less refined than the stablished omake monsters here, with our glorious QM's blessing and some more details about Darra's general situation.

I'd be interested in what you have in mind. What do you wanna know?

Apropos of nothing, I noticed something that @Dr. Snark had said about our Wookie Warrior cap:
Thing is a lot of warriors are needed on Kashyyyk to defend against Trandoshan raids and whatnot even after the successes there. The cap's more representing the fact that there's only so many people capable of joining you.
Implicitly, if we resolve the Trandoshan raid issue, that cap will be removed. Fortunately, there's an action for that:
[] Anti-Slaver Actions: Chance of Success: 70% Reward: Assaults launched on chosen slaver group, loot
-[] Trandoshan Slavers: They have been attacking the Wookiees, and since you have a number of business arrangements with the Wookiees that makes the Trandoshans a very obvious target.
I'm pretty sure it's not a major priority, but it's something to consider for future Martial actions.

Incidentally, @Dr. Snark, would it be possible to get a similar effect (defend Kashyyyk, remove the cap) via base upgrades? I was thinking something similar to our Kiln defenses -- with an early warning detection system and large-scale 'System Defenses'. We might also station a squadron or two for rapid response to incursion. (...Now that I think about it, those would also be useful for our Taris base as well).

Also apropos of nothing, did anyone notice our new items in The Vault:
- Patch from the United Council Defense Forces, gifted by newly minted CNS Admiralty Board
- Broken Techno Union Emblem, Recovered during Operation Rust Storm
- Blackguard Mask, Gifted as a sign of goodwill from the Blackguard
Not to mention our new Achievements:
Space Switzerland: Establish a formal command structure for the CNS military.
Say What?: Have the Jedi Council make common sense decisions.
Space Academy: Restore the Chu'unthor to its previous functionality.
Fried Calamari: Recruit Taelsan Fry.
Kal's Revenge: Sabotage any future Inhibitor Chips.
Meddling in the Force: Discover X1 and X2.
Wat Happened?: Steal everything on Metalorn
Shame If Something Happened: Resolve the Thyferra Crisis.
The Perfect Pet: Secure the Ysalamiri.
Droid 2.0: Upgrade your CIS droids.
Sisters: Welcome to the family Ventress~
Black Fist: Ally with the Blackguard.

What I also liked in some moments people outside Abyss Watchers and Ciarans influence managed to achieve greatness, like Satine: all Ciaran did was got her attention at something and she and CNS herself did the rest. Call her puppet, but she's anything but (manipulated, lead, influenced, but never truly controlled).

Partially want an omake where this event is examined from Satines perspective, not Ciarans, that be interesting

It would cost something, naturally, but even in real life it's expensive enough to be worth transporting by truck. On planets where water creation is noted to be a vital job, in other words planets where water is in high demand and low in supply? It'll definitely be worth it, especially if we get big enough water transportation ships to take advantage of economy of scale.

Go reread the Gods and Monsters Arc, Ciaran states that after seeing Wesker's creations that bioweapons are 'too messy' to be used by her organisation.
I'm not advocating for bioweapons, I'm advocating for bioinconveniences.

Well it's been a couple of years since that whole thing. So really like. What she's done since then or whats her standing in the order and the republic. Does she hang around the other ex-padawans a lot?

Oh and if you'd have to describe her current "voice! How would you do it? I'm guiding myself by the wiki so the mental image of darra might not be how you had her in mind? Just to make sure to get her tone down correctly.

was thinking on starting on a recap and her thoughts about the living contradictio that ie Ciaran.

Right, housekeeping time:

I love how Rip's fratboy antics are now suddenly a viable training method. Canon, +10.

I'm of half a mind to call this horse-like training game "Blazing Saddles".

...I can respect that. Blazing Saddles was a great movie.

Hmm...Yeah, I don't see why not, especially given the CNS military action this turn.

Well at first she was basically doing her damnedest to try and testify against Ciaran right after the Hutt fiasco, but as the years went on it's gone down to a simmering boil, especially after the Caamas Ceasefire. As for her position in the Order...it's a bit complicated. Due to her cybernetics being only partially functional and slowing her down she's not really the type of person capable of really fighting or doing very strenuous work anymore, but she's got too much sympathy to just let go. So...she's been kicked upstairs to a more administrative position.

As for her "voice..." that's a bit more complicated. She's much more prone to dark, bitter humor about her current situation, and has become far more cynical in general after everything that's happened. The Clone Wars kicking off really haven't helped either as she gets fairly constant news from her old friends about what's going on in the galaxy as they're out fighting or negotiating or whatever it is, and more often than not it's not positive news to put it mildly.

Honestly all things considered she's trying to figure out what she's going to do in the future. She had to have survived for a reason, right? Isn't that how the Force works? "In mysterious ways" and all that?

can we like darra a care packet or something
i think she need some kind of care and a sign of that we still kind of know who she is and is oke ppl

.....
on a other point what are we going to do with Wat. because as much fun as we had at his expense i really do not know what to do with him?
send him to court somehow?... here you go, Wat from the teck union.. how did we get him here .. oh don`t worry about that its all legal (fake millitary attack was fake Wat arrest!)

Just because she's right doesn't mean we should be happy that she's calling us all these mean things, especially in public.
Oh come on,
I really doubt that Ciaran would be that mean and petty. She has been called worst by nicer people. Also, Darra is absolutely right about Ciaran being a criminal mastermind. I think Ciaran would respect that.
