....if we can lie and say it is nabooan culture, and make there be a public outcry over his not doing such.... maybe.I wonder if we could pass a bill that Palpatine has to wear a dress and open senate meetings using interpretive dance?

Yeah, but would the rest of them?...You do know that he's from Naboo, right? Born and raised.
He'd know how that's total bullshit.
I like the idea of starting up random rumors to annoy and distract palpatine.
Back up the rumor of his stint as a crossdressing bar dancer with the equivalent of poor quality cell phones videos found (faked) on the holonet.I like the idea of starting up random rumors to annoy and distract palpatine.
[] If Angels Were To Govern Men: appealing to the Senate's better nature isn't going to work. But all politicians are susceptible to pressure from the general public, and Ciaran is the most popular philanthropist in the galaxy. Push for a measure to amend the Palpatine Tax (use friendly media to relabel it as such) to allow the 'contribution' of neutral systems to be paid in donations to Silver Cross, Refugee Relief Movement, or other charitable organizations.
@Dr. Snark, did you follow the previous discussion about solutions for Thyferra? @Stealthy offered three possible Actions (in 'Diplomacy' and 'Intrigue' categories) and I suggested a carrot/stick approach that included a possible Stewardship action. Do we need to format them like the rest of the mega-list, or is that enough to go on to include them in the Turn text?Diplomacy
[] Negotiate for Thyferra (CNS): solve the darn thing!
Don't think you gave a thumbs-up or thumbs-down for this -- the idea was basically the same as 'Operation Ultra' (pointing the codebreaker at Coruscant) except in this case directed against the CIS.Intrigue
[] Point Fry's Codebreaker at Shu Mai and the Commerce Guild leadership...
Definitely. On Almas there's a Sith Fortress made entirely out of beskar, with a captive Force ghost in the basement, and a number of artifacts (include a holocron that teaches the 'farsight' Force ability) scattered throughout. The Fortress was recently home to the 'Darkstaff' (ludicrously dangerous sentient artifact), and has an odd effect on local flora and fauna that indicates an artifact able to manipulate life. And that's one planet, not to mention Cularin itself or the asteroid belt...Cularin: Would you say that there's enough evidence to justify sendinglootingarchaeology teams to the area? If so then I'm game.
Would you prefer I narrow down the list of options?Dunno about expanding selection of Near-Human mods, if only because it'd be a total pain to keep track of.
So... Grievous's hunting trip to Vendaxa would result in a meet-cute between the two hunters? Sounds hilarious!I'm going to be a jerk and say no, and unfortunately I can't tell you why specifically because (minor) spoilers. But you can probably figure it out given what's already available.
Can you clarify this? The vehicles wouldn't be built in Core Space, but would we not be able to eventually move them to Core Space?Hmm...okay I got this. These are legit but they aren't going to be in Core Space unlike the rest of the lines on Cato Nemodia. Something to consider.
I'm guessing that means it'll be low or no income? As for Beautification...hmm...let's call that a "vanity" option more than anything else.

All of the ones I list would be awesome, but the three above strike me as the most acceptable. Of course, if we do score a crit, then you might consider offering 'Kiffar' genemods -- Kiffar genetics might give our Hero unit a 'psychometry' skill (able to tell the history of an object by touching it). You might save Voss genemods (Force Visions) for a separate action, or a ludicrously high super-crit
- Ferrerreo: regenerative biology is awesome (Martial and longevity bonus)
- Balosar: empathy and danger sense (Diplomacy and Intrigue bonus)
- Sephi: long-lived and good with machines (Learning and longevity bonus)

Why not increase the rewards of the Swoop Bike Circuit thingy and similar things? Get more attention and rich people to show up and do things. Attractive things attract. As for Beautification...hmm...let's call that a "vanity" option more than anything else.
Identify vulnerabilities, determine who is really in Shu Mai's corner (vs. 'backing a winner'), anticipate her actions and plans (so we can foil them & make her seem incompetent). Basically, knowledge is power, so if we want to undermine her, this might be a useful preliminary step.Oh yeah...honestly I dunno what you plan on doing with the Commerce Guild. What, are you going to tell people that they're even more corrupt?
The Sith Fortress is well-known enough that the Jedi built a Jedi temple there ('Almas Academy') to keep their eye out for it. They've had little/no luck getting in, but part of that is sheer discomfort at the dark-side aura. You misunderstood my question: how much of that is publicly known or at least rumored? Would Ciaran hear enough about this weird system to bother sending teams there?
I was curious, so I checked:Edit: In fact, that would help clarify something on the front page that I'm going to edit in.
10 basic combat droid squads (Tier 1) + 2 per turn (Stored at Coruscant, Cap 10)

Also, the fact that the whole system literally vanished from the galaxy, only to reappear unchanged ten years later (right before the Clone Wars began) is definitely well known, and sufficiently weird that Ciaran would definitely think of sending an expedition. Probably no hero units, though, just to be safe....
In unrelated news, can we get a base upgrade to remove the Cap on our Wookie Warriors? I have no idea what is needed, but that's definitely a must-buy:
Just increase the reward by a percentage.Hmm...I'll have to think about it. It makes sense but I'm not sure how it'd work mechanically.
In that case, could we shutter our Warrior Recruitment Center on Kashyyyk? We're still paying upkeep to recruit folks, only no one is around to be recruited.Thing is a lot of warriors are needed on Kashyyyk to defend against Trandoshan raids and whatnot even after the successes there. The cap's more representing the fact that there's only so many people capable of joining you.
It's not like our battle droid factory investment, where the droids are still being produced and we merely have no room to store the excess. This is an office with paperwork and personnel and training grounds, and none of it is being used...Upkeep: -1921
...
Military upkeep (itemized)
-50 (Recruitment Center, Kashyyyk; Turn 24)

About that...you sure that's a good idea? Because now there's a thing you're dealing with where you can expect significant casualties across the board.
The Foundry really is quite a thing isn't it?
On the one hand, I'm really glad you're so excited about this upcoming turn. On the other... "significant casualties across the board."
That's not ominous at all.

Oooh.no, i was talking about the foundry obviously its not even something im trying to hide
Racking up a bodycount from reclaiming the Foundry is a lot less worrisome.you lot have managed through a mixture of deliberate action and pure coincidence to develop what I call The Perfect Storm.
