    TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

    To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

    I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

    I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

    I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

    Also makes you wonder how Family Guy and the Simpsons are gonna portray Bruce. I can see us being involved in the Star Wars parodies and there's tons of easy material for cutaway gags. As for Simpsons, clever and witty in the 90s and pandering in the 21st century. Maybe we'd be the focus of an episode like the Michael Jackson episode? Bruce would probably be Bart's hero for standing up to authority and winning.
     
    If Simpsons would still be on their tasteful phase could be a subplot where bart basically becomes enchanted with the guy and homer feels inadequate and tries to impress his son only in the end the bruce character tell homer to be the best homer instead of try to be him.

    Don't wish such curse on the actor.

    Like really, in the end bruce is a guy that like to tell cool stories.

    Depends on the season mostly like i can imagine this as a skit

    Peter and the guys are in a dangerous situation where death is certain if they make a mistake.

    *The guys are looking out the window where armed guys are outside looking for them(long story)*

    Glen: what do we do what do we do.
    Joe: there to many of them.
    Peter: man this is more dangerous that trespassing on O'Brian property.

    Transition to a night scene where a "reporter" climbs the wall and trys stealthly to go up a window. He takes only three steps before he is shot in the crotch.

    He screams in pain and Bruce just calmly comes up to him and shoots him in the head. He then spits on him.

    Bruce: stay away from my daughters.

    By the by i havent seen a full ep of family guy in years

    Bruce was born in New York so he's a naturalized American citizen. Only other requirement that Bruce has to meet is being 35, and since he was born in 1954 this means that the earliest Bruce can run is 1992.

    But really I'm not in the mood to run for President, would much rather make movies and having fun supporting certain policies and people.

    • Anyway, this is the first time in a long time since we have had an omake Pitch Challenge.

    This is from the perspective of Mike Eisner to The Writers Room.

    "Alright boys, listen up. We have two months until we have the next meeting to start dishing out films to the directors, and we have so much crap we need done, that it's hard to state how important the next year is. 1980 will not be the year where Universal, or Disney, or even Colombia will overtake us at the box office. No, we are in need of some heavy-hitting screens, and means we need to continue on with our big hitters. That means Conan, Solomon Kane, and something new. Listen, because we don't have John here, and Jordan isn't sending us that script for Conan for another month till December, we need to come up with something new. Every script we get will certainly push us over the edge to make our studio prosper in the 80s."

    Note: Every script or movie prompt that is made within the next three days will be available to produce in the next action plan.

    However, there are three things Mike Wants:

    A Solomon Kane script
    A Sci-Fi story script (Cannot be an existing franchise or story from IRL from after 2005)
    An Animated Fetrure script.

    If all three scripts are made in three days... You will gain a significant bonus.

    Yeah, I mean, for all that we are making movies, we are still an actor, and most of the dra of the quest is in acting and making movies. I don't want to give that up just to try and be President.

    I guess one good thing that'll come from this is greater optimism towards keeping government in check, people becoming more politically active and aware, less malaise from voters due to feeling greater power in their participation, and whistleblowing and anti-corruption exposure is more encouraged than people being content.     Well, one thing we could do in theory, is basically use our influence to throw the rug out of Party leadership kinda like Trump did IRL. Cause say what you want about him, the only reason the Republicans didn't boot him out of the party was because, much to the horror of the whole establishment, he appealed enough to the people that make up the true party powerbase, that to reject trump would cause a split which would destroy the party.

    Hey, maybe we could start some progress unblipping the US healthcare system, and certain issues, like having chemicals banned from cosmetics due to being unsafe, but allowed to be put in food you eat. 😅
    Big business is just as bad as big govt in the BS they gleefully do if left unchecked.


    Something more actor/movie related. Considering possibly having a Star wars story built from the perspective of an imperial. Starting with a Starry eyed officer that believes in the propaganda, basically seeing the empire in a manor close to the fans in the legends timeline. But time and time again facing the ugly truth hidden by the propaganda, holos, parades, and even the guide books people are supposed to rely on. With the story being Drama/Politics/Spy thriller as the MC has to survive working under an organization that seems diametrically opposed to itself, while trying to hold onto the belief that led them to joining in the first place.

Nothing is being done than just teaching people how to use firearms, and considering most customers would be actors just looking to do some good action scenes, they probably practice mostly with airsoft or paintball besides the hardcore people like how Keanu practiced with SEALs for John Wick. Bruce isn't organizing a militia or creating a cult, he's just providing a service to train people and presumably it's well organized and very strict on gun safety. So long as Bruce pays his permits and follows federal and state gun laws then the ATF won't care.

    I meant that more as someone using their influence to get them to harass us, such as getting them to blantanly stake out our business and harass gymgoers, making multiple stops at the range to "make sure everything is above board", that sort of thing.

    You've given me the idea to write an omake about Bruce learning Hebrew, Arabic, Greek and Latin to research for the Prince of Egypt and getting into a respectful dialog with Priest, Rabbi and Imam about the general context of the story of the Exodus (and the film) for the film's commentary, and then later eviscerating Biblethumpers like Robertson [with that knowledge] for the complete and utter travesty that is the King James Bible for the many, many done translation "errors" that were purposefully made for political clout after the man makes a distasteful comment about Bruce's family...the fact that it was televised live being completely coincidental.

    What about all the Nuclear Plants that were being made and retrofitted from decommissioned coal plants, and provided the Sand Batteries? I have to imagine the US (and Ronnie) are gonna be a lot less inclined to ally and make deals with the Saudi's because of it.

    Correct, but Oil is still going to be the primary source of power for at least another decade. Retrofitting all those powerplants takes some time.

    And until they are finished... Oof.
     
    Hmm surprised that script for more animated shows aren't part if challenge what with Disney channel around the corner and admittedly small number of animated shows.

    We've got plenty of scrips for live action movies and even a number for animated movies but not many animated shows.
     
    One glorious mistranslation, if much earlier.
    Is the fact that Mary Magdeline and Mary the Prostitute may not be the same woman. That at some point someone mistranslated and the two characters were effectively merged to tell a story that was more in line for the male-dominated priesthood and society of that period.

    Yeah. It's gonna be ROUGH. Not at all helped because there is always gonna be one constant. People in power that will cling to the present without paying attention about the bigger picture.
    Currently in quest its the anti-climate change people, but IRL it has changed to those that cling to the idea it can be completely reversed as they throw millions to merely buy time for cities already flooding, while refusing to admit that said efforts are only temporary at best. 😅

    Best exemplified by that one disaster caused by a poorly maintained building, cause when faced with the disaster of the building's owners pulling out due to being unable to afford the major repairs needed, or having it eventually collapse, just kept sending mixed signals due to trying to avoid the former, until time made the choice for them and the building collapsed.

    Don't worry, I've got stuff lined up, so I can back you up here. I've got plenty of Sci-Fi and Animated film options lined up and already prepped, just tell me what you want to focus on and I'll work on one of the other things.
