Pretty great that we managed to get a crit and absolutely nuke CBS. I was feeling guilty for a while that I didn't help with an Omake, glad it still turned out alright regardless. If it weren't for Cat getting fucked over by the executives I'd call this a perfect turn, even no Romero is fine because we didn't sour things with him, schedules didn't connect.
I was happy when the roll came my friend, because then I realized something.
We can absolutely screw with the boys over at the other tv networks just by absolutely screwing over the lads at CBS.
Sure we may never work in TV again, but fuck em...
Even if it's nepotistic, George owes us for keeping him financially solvent with THX and so long as we keep things simple and don't overreach in requests, just a decent role behind the scenes, he'll probably accept. Hopefully best case scenario is that Cat is such a huge help to Grafitti that George hires her on as a permanent member of Lucasfilm and she becomes heavily involved in the production of Star Wars. Add us as Luke or Han, and Star Wars becomes the Lucas-O'Brian Saga.
American Graffiti is actually one of the movies I think that Lucas should finish himself. it was remarkably low-stress for Geroge to do, and it didn't really cause him any issues, in fact, it was one of the few films that were actually made cheaply, and ahead of schedule. 28 days for principle photography is really short for a Hollywood production when being directed by a person not named Robert Rodrigez.
I would hope that our sister is actually better at directing dialogue, and actually.. fixing some of Lucas' more... issues when it comes to how he directs his actors.
Also, holy fuck we can make Star Wars somehow better...
I mean sure it was already perfect from a movie standpoint, but a bit of extra tweaking can never hurt...
And think of the memes man!
The Memes!
Man all of these are pretty damn good for rewards and honestly I don't know what to pick. I'm fine with any one of them, but to me the weakest is definitely Show Rights because financing and 10 Mil are guaranteed and are pretty huge rewards to our financial future in production and personal wealth, but if we get a low roll on Show Rights we'll be just stick with syndication money from a meh show. If people choose that we'll definitely need to upgrade with Omakes.
All I want to do is make fun of CBS, for their terrible decisions.
Also, what happens when they release MASH and it turns out to be a hit?
That would be fucking hilarious.
Once we do become financially and creatively secure, it'll be fun to start the hunt for Mrs. O'Brian and hopefully create a wholesome and loving relationship in the City of Divorce. Personally I'm aiming for Carrie Fisher if we're gonna do Star Wars. Only a healthy 2-3 year age difference and if we co-star as Han or Luke that's plenty of time to develop chemistry over the years. Even if nothing romantic ever comes from it, let's at least try to have Bruce be there to help her through her difficult years of drug use and issues with Bi-Polar disorder, hopefully preventing the former and helping to deal with the latter in a healthy manner.
I am in Agreement with Cyber Here.
Carrie deserves better, and even if we don't decide to romance her, having a friend who can help her is something I think she deserves.
@Duke William of is the Vote open?
