Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

I hope it is as racy as it canonically was and Disney doesn't censor it.
The Looney Toons werte always known for their more out there and outright spicy content in many of heir cartoons. it would be amazing if they could continue the trend and avoid being sanitized as they, and Dinsey have become nowadays; The zany counterpart to the more wholesome Disney toons.

"Sometimes, even by accident, one's faith is rewarded"

You know I just rewatched the dark knight trilogy… and let me tell ya… Bruce is going to have to measure up a lot of he wants to top Nolan's future trilogy.

But let's just focus on the simple fact of Bruce getting through the film first.

Anyone have any questions they want answered.

And no the sheet will not be updated till December of 78 when I do all my house keeping for the stuff.

Anyone have any questions they want answered.
Is Atari going down the same path which caused its downfall OTL?

If we start organising DnD sessions with our friends... who will be the DM?

Since our musical buddies seem to love to record stuff in our house, can we build a small recording studio in our backyard?

Have the Collabs between Queen, Michael Jackson and the O'Brians been released? If they do, how well are they selling?

Since we manage to put together Michael Jackson and Queen... Can we do the same with the King of Rock and the King of Pop?

Are we going to have the chance of buying Marvel the next year? Or that gate is closed forever?

Since our animation studios cover both 2d (Dreamworks) and 3d (Pixar)... Can we buy Aardman Animations (Wallace and Grommit) to cover our stop motion business? (Since Will Vinton won't be creating Laika anytime soon)

How is Hanna Barbera doing (They should be Warner Subsidiaries at this point but Warner is Kaput)?

The combat with Ali... Will be an exhibition match, or we are opting for the Heavyweight Belt?

How is the Lawsuit with the Beatles going?
And no the sheet will not be updated till December of 78 when I do all my house keeping for the stuff.
Then I suppose that we will have an action to invest in LucasFilms the money we get from Conan (and the rest of our movies), no?

The Looney Tunes Go to Disneyworld!

The Looney Tunes Go to Disneyworld!
GENRE:
Comedy
FORMAT: Animated Movie
BASIC PROMPT:

The most ambitious cartoon crossover in history, the movie serves as the first theatrical interaction between the Looney Tunes and Disney cartoons in a wacky and zany romp fun for all families. AKA, one giant Disney commercial coming to a theater near you!

The plot kicks off with the Looney Tunes moving out of their homes in Burbank to Orlando thanks to losing their old jobs and now being hired by Disney. There's a general air of unease between the Tunes, worried about playing "Second fiddle" to their former competitors or having to become boring and normal to fit in, a sentiment which Bugs waves off as just the nerves talking and they're going to have a great time with lots of new pals. The gang then head off to Orlando, but not before saying a solemn farewell to the late Warner Brothers. Over in Disneyland, we see a fictionalized version of the Park where all of the animated characters of the Disney Canon live and work at the park. Like with the Tunes, there's a general uneasiness within the Disney group about the merger with the Tunes being too "Looney" to be part of the Magic Kingdom, but Mickey reminds them that once upon a time they were the same kind of wacky cartoons ("After all, is not one of our stars a man named Goofy?" "Gorsh, that's true.") and there's nothing wrong with being a little silly.

Just as the Disney toons become optimistic, the Disneyworld parking lot is humorously destroyed by a long burrowing tunnel before arriving at the front gates of Disneyland. Mickey and the gang arrive to greet the Tunes and take them on a tour with Mickey looking forward to having the Tunes join the family. However, in the middle of the tour, the Tunes save for Bugs all get distracted by the fun of Disneyland and ditch to go wild and have some fun. ("Is it always like this bugs?" "Eh, this is actually the most well behaved they've been).

What follows is a series of humorous antics where the Looney Tunes visit the many famous rides and attractions of Disneyworldand cause general mayhem in their usual ways with the Disney toons trying their best to contain the insanity and often coming into conflict through humurous slapstick. While the Tunes at first just grow wild, over time they start to take a liking to the park and embrace some of the Disney magic experience. Eventually Mickey manages to wrangel the Tunes thanks to the aid of Bugs who helps him and the gang get the Tunes under control by using the power of the Looney against them with the Mickey Gang embracing some of their 30's selves. However, the mood of most of the Disney cast is one of hostility towards the Looney Tunes for causing such a mess with heavy friction between the two groups. Bugs comes in as peacemaker and offers on behalf of the Tunes to clean up the park after its closed, then amonishing his fellow Tunes for being so rude to their new family who took them in after the Warners passed, making the Tunes feel ashamed.

While the chaos at the park was happening, Pete the Cat looked on maniacally, convinced that the last days of Disneyworld would be near and he would soon have his vengeance against Mickey Mouse. Pete then pulls a Mr. Potter and steals the deposit check from Gooofy that was meant to pay off the bank. This is all thanks to a scheme that Pete has concocted with the owner of the Bank "Hugh Mungus Bux", a greedy tycoon who hates cartoons (And is similar in appearence to Sidney Shineberg like Farquad was to Eisner). The next morning, Mr. Bux summons Mickey and tries to make it look like Disneyworld has not been keeping up its payments, producing a ludicrously long bill. Bux says that if Disneyworld doesn't pay off its debts in a week then he will own the park and turn it into one giant condominum lot for retired people!

Mickey goes back to Disneyworld despondent, sharing the gruesome news with the cast who are unsure of how to pay back the money. They then open the gates for the day's visitors, and are surprised to see a greater number of guests than usual. Many of the guests came cause they had so much fun thanks to the Looney Tunes antics yesterday and want to see them again, however, the Tunes are nowhere to be found. Mickey and Gang search for the Tunes, only to find them with their bags packed and about to board the Disneyworld Railroad, feeling sorry for the mess they caused yesterday and it would be best for them to stay out of sight. Many of the Disney cast admit that yesterday was some of the most fun they had in a while and that the guests didn't mind all that much. Mickey pleads for the Tunes to stay, informing everyone about them potentially losing Disneyworld to Mr. Bux. Not wanting to lose another home, the Tunes agree to lend a hand, combing Warner Looney with Disney Magic to create a great experience.

The film then transitions to three different types of skits. Two of these are the Looney Tunes and Disney cast making new movies with Disney characters in Looney Tunes skits and Looney Tunes characters in classic Disney shorts and movies in parody fun. There is also skits of the Looney Tunes attempting to run the attractions at Disneyworld, adding some of their signature flair but also trying to keep true to the Disney spirit with more often than not messy results, but enjoyed by the park goers.

Enraged at the high success of Disney who are close to making money, Mr. Bux and Pete wrangle up the Disney villains and attempt to shut down the park through sabotage and destruction. However, the Looney Tunes and Disney cast manage to work together through playing off of their strengths and talents to defeat all of the villains while also sending Mr. Bux to jail when it is revealed that he had been lying about the park's debts and it had been paid off from the beginning.

The end of the movie closes with a giant party involving the Disney cast and Looney Tunes characters with the Tunes now welcomed as part of the family and many new friendships formed. The Cartoons come together and sing "When you wish Upon a Star" as the fireworks go off. The closing credits is Porky doing his signature sendoff, only to be interrupted by Donald who completes it. Then followed by a Tribute to the Disney and Warner Brothers.

How did Bakshi got to do his film without us knowing?

Is Disney planning a new animated movie besides the Fox and the Hound?

Has Marvel reconsidered being bought by Lucasfilms?

How goes the Marvel Noir line?

Has Hollywood/The audience heard about Bruce collaborating with Columbia for The Batman? What are their thoughts?

Can we get the distribution rights for Dr. Who for America, or do we need to wait till we have a TV Studio?

Can we do another animated film now, or do we need to wait?

How long unitl Hiawatha finishes production?

When do we start Production for Empire Strikes Back?

Is the U.S. doing better with the energy crisis now that we have more nuclear plants, as well as Sand Batteries?

Can we hire H.R. Giger to use some of his designs for Dune? (He would be impressed by our technology at least).

Has Universal done anything with our sister's "Iron Lung" script? If not, can we buy it from them?

I kinda have a general idea for an animated show we could possibly do.(Partly inspired by LOZ BOTW)

Basically a three season show where the first two focuses on two separate casts, and the third bringing the whole together. Stage one focusing on the chosen champions from the various factions, alongside other vital individuals preparing for a threat from the Land's previous golden age, investigating lost relics, ancient tech, and more modern innovations to try and prepare as much as possible while dealing with more current threats. After the Season 1 climax being the disaster and the fate of the heroes, the time jumps to at least one generation in the future, where the threat has been contained, following a newly formed group that seeks to help people, a journey of a ragtag band becoming something more. Season 3 being the climax, where the Season 1 Chosen Champion(s) resurface in importance, while the season two group spearheads efforts to fully fight back and reclaim what was lost in season 1.

Where does the Lucas family live? Before they could just switch between LA and San Francisco, but when George III starts going to school they're gonna need to find a place to settle down.

How do Bruce and Carrie differ in their parenting methods for Mary?

How does Mary view her parents?

With Grease releasing this turn did it perform as well as OTL?

What major movies does Universal have lined up this year, if any?

Are musicals still relevant? How did they generally faire after Some Nights?

How has MASH fared after Bruce left?

Have any major celebrities tried to copy Bruce's charity activism?

Does Carrie have any charity stuff she does?

Has Carrie won any Grammys?

What is the consensus of the general public towards Carrie? What's her strongest demographics/largest fans?

How often are Bruce and Carrie recognized by fans in public?

Would Debbie still be willing to do one of the two films made for her?

Has Michael Jackson done any film stuff since Five Dates?

Any major historical events somehow changed or are things still roughly the same?

How is the boxing community reacting to O'Brian vs Ali?

Is Atari going down the same path which caused its downfall OTL?
No omakes reward for them because they are stupid. the crash of 83 is inevitable.

what happens afterwards is... up to you and George.
If we start organising DnD sessions with our friends... who will be the DM?
Carrie. Everyone would want Carrie because Bruce has escalation issues.

(Gee does that remind you of anyone)
Since our musical buddies seem to love to record stuff in our house, can we build a small recording studio in our backyard?
We don't really have enough room for that, despite our mansion size, because Debbie won't let us share, and she thinks some of those bands are bad influences.

She's talking about Queen, but thats mostly because she remembers many bands in the past.
Have the Collabs between Queen, Michael Jackson and the O'Brians been released? If they do, how well are they selling?
They have not been released yet.

mostly because Queen is working with Mike.

A little thing Queen Calls: The Game.
Since we manage to put together Michael Jackson and Queen... Can we do the same with the King of Rock and the King of Pop?
THat is more likely than you think, since Elvis has a film in preproduction right now.
Are we going to have the chance of buying Marvel the next year? Or that gate is closed forever?
not next year, they are making far too much money. try the late 80's.
Since our animation studios cover both 2d (Dreamworks) and 3d (Pixar)... Can we buy Aardman Animations (Wallace and Grommit) to cover our stop motion business? (Since Will Vinton won't be creating Laika anytime soon)
At the moment no. If only because Aardman is in Britian, and we are... not exactly known well enough to have a risk like that.
How is Hanna Barbera doing (They should be Warner Subsidiaries at this point but Warner is Kaput)?
Okay...

Turns out they made another Johnny Quest, and it was awesome.
The combat with Ali... Will be an exhibition match, or we are opting for the Heavyweight Belt?
Exhibition, I rolled for a chance at the title, and he did indeed lose it.
How is the Lawsuit with the Beatles going?
Nothing of significance happened, though:

The Beatles breakup:
D100 => 8

Our suit broke up the beatles.
Then I suppose that we will have an action to invest in LucasFilms the money we get from Conan (and the rest of our movies), no?
Next update, yes... kinda.

Conan isn't out yet, and all that money will be added in at December.
How did Bakshi got to do his film without us knowing?
Easy, in secret with not many people working on it... and got very lucky.
Is Disney planning a new animated movie besides the Fox and the Hound?
At the moment, no, mostly because the Loony toons are going to get some love.
Has Marvel reconsidered being bought by Lucasfilms?
Stan the Man is adament that the only way they can see successful films is through Lucasfilm. But others do not agree.
How goes the Marvel Noir line?
Marvel Noir X-Men has just been released and it's going well, just not as good as Spiderman.
Has Hollywood/The audience heard about Bruce collaborating with Columbia for The Batman? What are their thoughts?
Not yet.

Once it does, it will make many studio heads very mad.

And Alan will smoke many victory cigars.
Can we get the distribution rights for Dr. Who for America, or do we need to wait till we have a TV Studio?
The BBC won't allow us to get near it.
Can we do another animated film now, or do we need to wait?
need to wait until post production on Hiawatha
How long unitl Hiawatha finishes production?
November.
When do we start Production for Empire Strikes Back?
Next turn. And its only preproduction.
Is the U.S. doing better with the energy crisis now that we have more nuclear plants, as well as Sand Batteries?
Yes and no.

And that is all will say.
Can we hire H.R. Giger to use some of his designs for Dune? (He would be impressed by our technology at least).
THat depends on how much money we have to pay him.
Has Universal done anything with our sister's "Iron Lung" script? If not, can we buy it from them?
They have not yet, mostly because they are afraid that they will need ILM... and don't want them just yet.
Where does the Lucas family live? Before they could just switch between LA and San Francisco, but when George III starts going to school they're gonna need to find a place to settle down.
San Francisco.

Marcia isn't willing to move south.
How do Bruce and Carrie differ in their parenting methods for Mary?
Bruce: is rather quiet, and is very much not as affectionate as Carrie is, even though he is extremely protective. Mary makes him laugh alot.

Carrie: Is active, and very affectionate. Mary enjoys crawling around her.
How does Mary view her parents?
Bruce: Strong Daddy. Very easy to scare.

Carrie: Very Pretty, her hair tastes strange
With Grease releasing this turn did it perform as well as OTL?
it went well. If you want the numbers, ask.
What major movies does Universal have lined up this year, if any?
its mostly canon.

Though I will say this, December will see Napoleon part one released.
Are musicals still relevant? How did they generally faire after Some Nights?
They are. And most are not nearly as good quality as Some Nights.
How has MASH fared after Bruce left?
They have went well, though they have dipped in quality a little bit, as Radar cannot be replaced.
Have any major celebrities tried to copy Bruce's charity activism?
Its' easier to say the ones who are doing it truely.
Does Carrie have any charity stuff she does?
not really, mostly because she's really focused on raising mary.
Has Carrie won any Grammys?
2.
What is the consensus of the general public towards Carrie? What's her strongest demographics/largest fans?
She's a great actress, writer and person, who happens to be married to the maelstrom that is Bruce O'Brian, though they are very good together.

Her biggest fans are the 12-26 Demographic. Leia is an inspiration
How often are Bruce and Carrie recognized by fans in public?
not as much as you think. Bruce is great at hiding in plain sight, and Carrie just is... following Bruce's Lead.
Would Debbie still be willing to do one of the two films made for her?
Yes.
Has Michael Jackson done any film stuff since Five Dates?
Mostly just commercials but he's been working on his music.
Any major historical events somehow changed or are things still roughly the same?
At the moment, mostly the same.

Save for one rather big incident.

that may be revealed in due time.
How is the boxing community reacting to O'Brian vs Ali?
They are foaming at the mouth, hoping Ali beats Bruce and prevents him from doing anything crazy.

Turns out, most of the Boxing world hates Bruce because they think he's just a shit fighter, who's more interested in making money, regardless of anything else, rather than actually being a good fighter.

THey are being hypocrites because they hate Bruce can draw a bigger crowd then any of them ever can.

Carrie. Everyone would want Carrie because Bruce has escalation issues.

(Gee does that remind you of anyone)
Interesting... Can you tell us what class and race would choose Bruce and his friends?

I have doubts if Bruce would go for a human barbarian for obvious reasons, of if he would decide to go for something completely different to be original...
