    TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

    To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

    I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

    I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

    I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

    I'll see you all around.

    • Man the star wars in the US is gonna be so big, with Carrie being hottest, when we did that modeling gig, and with her singing being a hit with that 98 roll, then there is the MC wining Olympic Gold and doing the Olympic documentary, along with doing tonight show wiht Johnny Carson

    Also is the strikes still gonna be going when star wars comes out?

    So it depends on what people want, once we get Star Wars money in we can reinvest it and get more divisions in LucasFilms

    Let's do it in...1998, partly so that we "accidentally" end up looking like Palpatine and partly so that we can get a bill passed that enforces term limits in the Senate, House of Representatives and Congress, say something like a combined eight years, so that we can get younger politicians in the seats and get a constant flow of new perspectives and ideas.

    I don't want to turn this into some bigger political discussion, so I'm not going to respond regardless of what is said in return, but that sounds like a terrible idea. If you can only serve a combined 8 years in Congress, it means that you can't gain the necessary governmental experience, resources, connections, or popularity to seek higher office, meaning that becoming a senator, or governor, or higher is going to be cut off from most people and become a rich man's game and would be closed off to most of those who couldn't self finance, unless they already had a large amount of popularity or name recognition prior. It also means you're going to bring stuck with a government generally inexperienced with, well...governing. I get why people want term limits for Congress, I really do, but the numbers I always hear thrown around are all kind of sucky.

    Kinda the point really, get them out of the highest offices and back to the local level to impart their "wisdom" to the next generation, and hopefully (oops, my optism's showing) make it stop looking like a NASCAR event.

    Look, obviously a lot of these topics would be introduced in the larger bill, but a decade should be enough time, really for anyone, to get most things done and gives each generation the opportunity, in theory and hopefully pratice (my optism's showing, sorry I thought I fixed that), to have their wider concerns addressed, at minimum, twice.

    But I do agree, this should be enough on the topic for now...and until we get to the Quest S(ide(?))equel, California's On Fire, and an Actor's In Charge, or the Governor Bruce O'Brian Quest. :V

    If anything it will be a side gig to acting, like Boxing and other things.

    That's all I will say if we decide to play politics and that is all I will say.
     
    Me personally while doing politics every once and a while like the CARE Act is fun, I don't really want to have Bruce become Governor or President. This is an ACTOR Quest and I signed up to make movies and have some fun shenanigans in Hollywood and entertainment. There's still so much we could do and so many mediums we haven't participated in and to have Bruce spend decades of his life in politics and ruin his boy scout vibes by making tough and morally dubious decisions while also pissing off half the Quest base isn't something that flies with the spirit of the Quest. Let's have fun making movies and leave a politics Quest to someone else as a spinoff.

    If I may ask, what made you want to select Dean Martin? I had no idea before that Bruce had such a deep voice and while Dean Martin is one of the all-time greats, it does limit us greatly in genre potential to have that specific voice. Me I'm hoping for something that can do well with traditional pop, jazz and classic rock.

    Thinking of Dean Martin voices, would you consider Michael Buble as a possible voice for Bruce?

    Or as I have said... A side gig like what Arnie did, serving a term or two before returning to Acting a rejuvenated actor, taking far more risks.

    I actually chose Dean Martin because everyone else I thought of just did not fit Bruce's internal voice that I made.

    As for making it impossible to branch out... no its not, it would just require lots of training.
     
    We're civilians not soldiers do ee would get congressional gold medal and at most the presidential award for Distinguished Federal Civilian Service
