We can go full-power Oozaru and full power normal base forms so long as any SSJ boost is split, right? Just not whilst a shade.

But he doesn't just want to fight. He wants to be challenged. Hence me aiming to win.

I'm not going to hold back, or cheat. I'm going to push us, so that this fight addict who hasn't had a good fight in years, finally gets his fill.

We'll be talking to him the whole year, and if we spar with him now I doubt we'll stop sparring. This'll likely become a regular thing, so we can test stuff and show off after that.

One of the games had a character transform and then destroy the ball to avoid their opponent doing the same, and I thought that was charmingly clever, so I decided that the Power Ball is more concentrated and thus can sustain a transformation even after it's gone.
 
Meanwhile I just use a 'transform into Giant Monkey at will' spell.

Kakara could do the same by using Seer Powers to view a full moon in one eye!
 
Ok. I think that we

a) Should accept the spar. Jaffur doesn't seem to be that good at social and with his whole warrior prince thing going on then it should put him at ease. If so, we should aim to win so that he respects us more since he also has that whole "we are meant to push each other" thing going on.

b) Do not hug him. He doesn't seem like the type to like physical contact, courtesy of Vegeta Vegeta. We don't want to trigger him.
b.1) Also, we don't know how his body affect his mind him. For all we know, we hug Jaffur and then suddenly!puberty happens.

c) One thing we should ask for sure: What the heck happened the night Vegeta was sealed? Knowing for sure if Jaffur tried to kill Dandeer is something we must have. If by some miracle he didn't mean to, a mind delve after Jaffur is released to prove it would go a long way to soothe Berra; if he did try then we must know in order to take measures once he is released since, as stated, Jaffur killing Dandeer would fuck up Jaron in a bad way.

She's been an enemy for a long time; it's just that before this, there was a tacit, if tense, neutrality. A Cold War, of sorts.
It's just that now it's officially war, gloves off, niceties called off etc. Open hostilities.

Not sure what's worse: us waiting whilst not knowing what we're missing, or you having to wait knowing what you can't reveal.

As to the vote: Spar in GO form, chat: Jaron, and chat: Vegeta's sealing seems good. Maybe swap the last for chat: bring him up to date on the Conspiracy.

Similar to Bakkasama's thoughts here, I fear that hugging him would be interpreted badly in the first place- he was quite literally an abused child, who tend to take displays of physical affection negatively.

Returning to this because I sort of overlooked it-

I have no issue with wanting to win, to be honest. The problem is, a lot of them only really make sense to raise if you are saying 'spar only if can perfect plan to win'.

The point of the spar is not winning, even though I don't see it as a net negative. The point is it's a form of social action that Jaffur just explicitly asked for. That's why I want to do the spar.

How about saying we want to?

Like "Ok we can spar, but I'd much rather give you a hug *big smile*" gets into stance.

No hugs, we should work up to that after he's free. He's not normal in terms of socialisation, and it's more likely to irritate him than to comfort him. If he was really that desperate for human contact, he could always hug Jaron when he visited.
