Get more adept in something that's kinda interesting and may be useful down the line? (As Poptart said, could even be immediately useful for spying on non-Sorcerors.)
But as @fictionfan said, main thing is it's not cutting us off from any action choices; just doing those things while in Saiyan masque.
It might make us less good at ki-type stuff while practicing, is the main cost I can see. But we could do other stuff in it that would still keep it secret, like training with Sensei?

We should do it something active that will help us acclimatise to the Masque, if possible.

That honestly seems inefficient.
I'd rather spend the time picking up stuff like Ki Healing or Tien style (use your lifeforce to heal the weak an wounded... then heal yourself afterwards) then chase after a possible promise!

It's not. Since it's a Masque Affinity, we can train it at the same time as that stuff similar to how training with Maya also ups Human Masque Affinity.
Currently, we have no clear benefit with a Saiyin Masque. We've been told that there is a use for it, and mastering the forms of both our parent races might have an interesting affect. On the other hand, it can be trained at the same time as other actions without any loss in the other action, and can be trained for effectively free.
So there is a potential benefit, and there is no cost to the action. So we don't actually lose anything from chasing after this particular promise. So why not do it?

Because there are hostile aliens scouts on our world and the Saiyan did might be easily detectable without human to dilute it. There us a reason why nobody cares about us while we wear the masque!

I'm not aware of any reason being a Saiyan would be easier to detect than being a Saiyan-Human hybrid. It's not like we give off Saiyan particles for sensors to detect, and it doesn't increase our ki output. These aliens have no reason to be specifically looking for Saiyans anyway.
EDIT: Also, any training we do in it will have to be in the training hall due to the SOE, so even if we did start giving off magical Saiyan particles (which again, we won't) it still wouldn't be an issue.

I really don't think there is in-text evidence for this suspicion. It is something that could be near the top of the list of "any possible negative consequence of this", but there is no in-text reason to suspect this, and the chance of everyone being that fundamentally wrong about this Masque's danger level is way too low to outweigh the benefit that we know this Masque's could potentially bring. This is especially true given the costless nature of training it. I really wanna know what possible benefit that learning both Masques can bring, and given how difficult it's gonna be to even figure out the research topic, it has to be something good.
