If this is the scouting force and if I remember correctly that a non Scion Sayin has 30,000 units then unless we get Ozarus running around then no not easy.

On the other hand we mega stomp.
Masquerade violations make political players sad

Also that was only their detectable power. They could have transformations, they might be suppressing their power, they could have gero artificial ki engines hooked up to a ki blaster, etc etc

Or maybe Poptart's cooked up something completely new :).

I agree, we absolutely need to tell Dad and the Seers. We *might* want to tell our allies about it, though.

Dad needs to know about Peat.

The thing about Peat? It's like, half a circle away from 'Beat', which is what Dad will do to them.

Oh, out of curiosity, what techniques have been developed to allow Saiyans to exist in low/no pressure environments? Low/no oxygen? Can we do Bringer of Death's Vegeta's trick where we store weeks worth of oxygen in our lungs? Can we at least hold our breath for a while?

Cause if we stop these guys in space with some righteous explosions and vaporization, all we have to explain is a pretty lightshow...and most of the planet will ignore it.

The treason of a house is ultimately more important than our friendship with Fennella. We have to tell him.

The invaders are unimportant. The most powerful of them have power levels only in the hundreds of thousands. Doesn't mean we shouldn't tell someone about them, but they're not that big a deal.

The larger issue is the Masquerade. People in the galaxy at large are still talking about Earth. If it leaks out that there is a planet full of Saiyans there are going to be fireworks. There's also the local masquerade, because once it snaps it makes it more likely to leak in the future.

We need to either deter these travelers without letting them find out what they've stumbled upon, or be absolutely sure that we got every single one without any communications getting out. Something as simple as a scouter is capable of transmitting everything it sees and hears at least two years worth of pod travel away in real time.

If we want to do something about them without their ever finding the planet at all, we're probably going to need both authority and the Senzu spaceship. That probably means some sort of conclusion to the current conflict.

Y'know, I'm actually tempted to go talk to Yammar. Dude gets shit done. Damn it, we should have asked about him while we were at the Senzus'.

Or the entire event isn't about power.

It might be about containing the invasion without attracting the attention of our Enemy. Or they could actually be refugees fleeing from a recently conquered planet or...
We will make FRIENDS with them.

No really.

Didn't we go to the moon at one point and just use Ki to compress oxygen into our lungs?

Why not try to power level up so some fighting ability can be maintained in the Masquerade?

A clan of secret kung fu masters to hide the truth of "Actually fucking Saiyans?"

Since we've got an alium invasion coming after all, and a couple years to prep for it. Unless we plan to let the place get invaded, some intervention is probably needed.

And we've already established that Masque training can allow some fighting skill to carry through without disrupting it.

Honestly I think Sensei and father are the best person to tell about the invasion, if only so the seers can shown united front (and so we can hide it)
I agree. I'm torn on telling the rebels; on the one hand, this is such a big deal that I think not telling them might be the prudent thing to do, but I'm worried about how carrying out The Plan might disrupt the Saiyan race's war efforts and our ability to maintain the Masquerade; if we tell them about it, we might be able to convince them to wait until afterwards, or alternatively to push the plan forwards so as to give the Clans time to get it together. Having the Senzus and Jaffur here for this might be a game changer, and we might be able to further sell it "vital to the war effort and Masquerade".

After the Second Garenhuld Ancestral Council, you were forced to make a decision about the knowledge you gained regarding House Peat's probable treachery, and how. Did you tell your Dad about this evidence?
We definitely should have told Dad, though given how we publicly gave the Head Priest Peat a stay of execution we also should have requested that however he deal with the Peats, he do so quietly.

As Alectai said, hiding the fact that we're Saiyans is easy. Training to Competent isn't overly difficult and grants a Saiyan a full 60% of their power, which considering the power levels we'll be fighting is more than enough to beat them.

-[ ] Tell Dad. This is his job; he can decide how to deal with it.
--[] Suggest we have a goodly number of Saiyans train up their Masque affinity, and 'reveal' the existence of a secret order of martial artists- without revealing the whole Saiyan thing.
-[ ] Tell your conspirators (Grandma, the Senzus, and anybody else you bring in on things). They need to know this in case it'll impact the plan.
-[ ] Tell Sensei. He'll know what to do.

So we need to tell Dad and Sensei.
Unless he tells us not to, I would be tempted to volunteer to tell Grandma specifically, as she can pass the message along to the conspirators on her end.

The Senzu may need to wait until after we save Jaffur.

Saving Jaffur is also still in the cards, especially as that brings in another non-controversial Super Saiyan, which is a Huge bonus.
That we may lose an unstable Master Sorceress would suck, as she would likely be a perfect tool to help preserve the Masquarade/secrecy, as Magic doesn't really link to Saiyans.

Edit: I like Terrabrands suggestion too,

Edit2: Peats... vote yes, but if write ins are allowed, point out that we may have settled things down for a while with our performance at the meeting.
We did diplo-crush them, and destroyed that avenue of power for them for at least a while.

Just don't forget to vote on the Peat issue once you start casting votes.

We don't need to tell the Garenhulders about the invaders. We can defeat them without Garenhuld knowing about them or us.

I think Plan A should still be intercepting them in space (maybe with ki sensing and Instant Transmission) and preventing them from ever arriving on the planet.

Not sure that's feasible, given.

We don't need to tell the Garenhulders about the invaders. We can defeat them without Garenhuld knowing about them or us.

I would be cool with us managing that, but spaceships. Garenhuld probably isn't so dumb that we can hide big honking space ships showing up.

Bonus points: We may be able to excuse teaching our human friends in earnest this way.

Updated a little, thinking on it.

I'm leaning towards deflecting them at earliest opportunity if at all possible. That hopefully means engaging in an entirely different system if at all possible.

Magic may be able to help. A single Senzu mage was able to erase an entire planet's memory of their location, and maintain it persistently. Could every mage working together put up a Somebody Else's Problem field around the planet? After all, they aren't specifically hunting for it.

We don't need to tell the Garenhulders about the invaders. We can defeat them without Garenhuld knowing about them or us.

The question is, do we want to? This would be a prime opportunity to get the masquerade broken or at least badly shaken. If we're in favor of that, we should work it in. If we're not, we should keep in mind that the Peat may well try something along those lines the moment they find out.

Interception won't work, because they're coming in two waves. If one suddenly vanishes--presumed eaten by the locals, it'll mean the second--actually threatening wave will be more willing to go scorched earth--or just not come and talk about it, which raises attention.

They need to go down, but they need to go down in an understandable fashion. I wouldn't be surprised if secret protector enclaves were fairly common (Relatively speaking). The tricky part is hiding the Saiyan part, and not showing all of our cards.

I think Plan A should still be intercepting them in space (maybe with ki sensing and Instant Transmission) and preventing them from ever arriving on the planet.
This might be possible with the Senzu's spaceship, but otherwise I'm not sure we can do this; can normal Saiyans hold their breath that long? And worse, fight while holding their breath thus?

We don't need to tell the Garenhulders about the invaders. We can defeat them without Garenhuld knowing about them or us.
Only if it happens off-planet; Garenhuld certainly counts as "weak" enough for the invaders' scouts to try and subjugate them outright, to say nothing of the main force. They'll have no interest in trying to keep their fighting secret.

I says everyone needs to know, but we should tell dad and Sensei first, followed by the conspiracy and then the general saiyan public.

@PoptartProdigy, how far into space can we sense ki, and how fast do spaceships normally move?
Less that you have a hard range, more that certain ki sources don't project hard enough. In general, you could still pick out individual humans when you visited the moon. With an active ping, you could probably sense that there were humans on Garenhuld from any point in the system. But bigger and louder sources stand out more; like a flashlight vs. a blue giant.

You don't know how fast the typical spaceship moves. The one the Exiles have apparently can cover a thousand light years in a day, but it's a Briefs masterpiece. What the usual has is anybody's question.

Well, my current idea (not sure if it's even possible) is to instant transmission into their ships, then dispose of the enemies (and possibly hijack the spaceships).

The alliteration amuses me.
