Looking at it more optimistically, maybe mentioning Gohan and co. gave us a bigger boost than we were expecting? We know she used to be very religious - I kind of figured that had fallen by the wayside as she pursued her Evil Plan and got excommunicated, but maybe she's doing all of this because she thought it's what they wanted somehow?

he's pretty good, though the numbers in his quests tend to get absurdly high. Someday i should get back to AGG Rise...

He does have a quest on QQ as well by the way :p
 
So, we have people calling "horrible for us", and a few people (probably overoptimistically) calling "good for us". Anyone want to put money on "the success was in something that doesn't effect the situation in any way, good or bad and poptart is just trolling us", just to cover all our bases?

I swear to dende, if we actually do manage to talk her down somewhat, I'm going to regret not holding out for an "absurd social check" bonus :p

@PoptartProdigy, can we invent a ki technique that releases an incapacitating odour about ourselves? I remember someone nearly defeating Krillin with his smell alone in the World Martial Arts Tournament until Krillin was reminded that he didn't have a nose.

come on, that sounds ridiculous! How would it even work?

I mean, it's probably technically possible (i think Poptart once told how it is possible, for example, to convert Ki into matter with the right Elite/legendary talent, and a smell is in the end nothing more than a collection of airborne molecules) but it's one of those things so complicated to not be worth it. It would most likely be easier to study medicine/chemistry and create a super anestethic gas+ antidote for ourself. Or ask for that magically strenghtened gas from that time in the prison.

Also Bacterian is not really a good role model
