[X][ACTION] Figure out a gambit to neutralize the Lords without fighting them. They might be mind-controlled, but maybe they're on some really restrictive programming that you can exploit? Without knowing what that programming is?
-[X] Write-in: Solar Flare! Warn your allies, and use the Taiyoken. Hopefully you can stun Dandeer, or dazzle enough of the mind-controlled royals to give one of you a clear shot at her, or both.
[X][OTHER] This is a bad situation, but you
need to handle something.
-[X][OTHER] Find somebody who can get out a message and get Dandelor in here
now! There's other sorcerer in the world who you'd bet even stands a
chance against the woman who soloed fifty sorcerers at full power. He's already incoming, but if you can get somebody to tell him things have gone sideways, he might be able to speed up by abandoning any efforts at subtlety.
Guys, is anyone interested in any of the OTHER event choices? And does anyone want to consider any other ACTION event choice? Remember, the power ball gambit is very much all or nothing. Not a lot of risk, but
no reward unless it does exactly what we intended. Exiles tend to have practice carefully
not looking at the moon, Poptart has told us, and that may extend to power balls. For that matter, it's conceivable that Dandeer has Sealed away her own oozaru transformation capability as a routine protective measure because it's simply
inconvenient to turn into a giant ragemonkey if you look at the wrong thing.
The power ball gambit isn't a bad idea IMO, but since we have approval voting and the whole list of OTHER options to consider, we might want to, y'know, consider them. As the power ball gambit basically has us roll the dice once, and if we roll high we've effectively trivialized the fight, but if we roll low it does nothing. Solar Flare is a lot more likely to get us
something even if one or more of our opponents no-sells it, because if it disables Berra OR Lord Vegeta OR Dandeer OR for that matter Yammar, we have an opening that profits us greatly.
I missed this earlier. Out of canon for a moment;
KAKARA: ...what do you mean, "almost?"
The existence of Tabe Stauber, and the way the end of the tournament played out, shifted the shipping lanes considerably for Mitsuba.
That certainly is a way of describing it. But for your edification, the main alien race includes a romance system that includes something called Kismesissitude, which is best described as Romantic Rivalry. It's pretty funny how close you've come to it here.
I mean, given how furiously competitive the saiyans are as a species, it's reasonably to extrapolate that their romantic and competitive impulses get... commingled. Poptart has alluded to this before.
For example, when our secret Vegetan ancestry was revealed and Apra was talking about how common it is/was for there to be sexual tension between the reigning Lords... AND at another time, Poptart implied that one of the leading causes of death among retired royals is when they finally fight that duel with the
other retired royal of their generation. One, the other, or both.
