When it comes to overblow revenge schemes glummy is only second to Doof himself we could bond over that. Wait. No we cant. Doof is a ice cube right now

[X] Ed Dillinger
[X] Flintheart Glomgold (Mez has selected this for you, for free! So don't select it.)

I'm rebelling against authority. :V

Tex Richman isn't someone we want to do business with, since he's an oil mogul and we're hoping to make oil obsolete at some point. Interacting with Ed Dillinger could be an opportunity to keep abreast of what's up with ENCOM.

Mezmerella Diplomacy check: Coexist
DC 85
69+20=89

Bare Success!

Mezmerella walks up to the richest duck in the world, and for a moment it seems as if open war will be declared over grazing rights. Then, a wordless understanding passes between them. They immediately begin covering for each other, moving up to the cocktail shrimp and robbing the platters blind.

Two minute later Mezmerella walks back to you with a neatly tied package of cocktail sausages and assorted hors d'oeuvres, which she hands off to Marco without another word.
Nice. Least he's making friends co-partners in crime.

Last time the songs the Interlude were a hint about Sinatron. The title of this Interlude, The Girl from Ipanema, is the title of a Brazilian bossa nova and jazz song from the 60s. Gomez is the only vaguely Brazilian Gridlocked Disney character I can think of.

Maybe it's about the translator or inspiration?

Girl from Ipanema is a famous bossa nova song. It's been covered by many, many people over the decades.

You were close. Try again.

EDIT: Scratch that. You were actually entirely wrong, but you said something adjacent to the correct answer. Look for that instead.

Might be Sinatron again. Sinatra recorded the song with the original composer Antonio Carlos Jobim in 1967 for their joint album. Also, Ella Fitzgerald recorded the song, but I don't think she'll be involved.
