Were Drago has said that hego will probably stay at Bueno nacho If he leaves DEI. So I don't need see the need for a letter of recommendation.

Hego is the one who wrote the employee benefits policy, which could also include severance. What would be funny is if he had intentionally written it so he could also get severance despite resigning, showing off his mastery of bureaucracy, and being one small win for him to be able to leave DEI on a good note.

Doof offers him a severance, Hego says "Thanks, but have you even read the benefits policy? I already get severance."

As I said before, I'm done with his character arc and we are running out of space for heroes anyways, since even after the reorganization we'll likely still be near the cap. That's just me presuming the QMs aren't going to want to write substories for 100 different heroes we've hired even with a small boost to the cap in-story.
