Odds on Technor deciding to join LOVEMUFFIN on their villainy temporarily for his "EEEVVIILLL" of this turn? He does love Evil.

[X][Intrigue] Investigate the Death of Alonso Hawk (Russ) (CoS: 51%, 61% w/ XP)
DC 105 (Reduced by XP)
60+17+38+10+5+5+25 (???)=160
Great Success

To be continued in Quest: Who Framed Bonkers Bobcat?
I did not cheer, because I am a good roommate, but it was a close thing.

I am wondering about that +25 though. Bonkers being cooperative, or Phantom Blot helping Doom along into oblivion?
Ok, what the actual fuck? Janna is little by little becoming a Power House.
Janna has, as noted in Twelfth Night, found her people. This is the natural result of taking the character who bribed a magic tome with pudding while Marco and Star were busy dealing with puberty nonsense and giving her an environment that actively encourages her.

And of course it helps that the dice love her as much as we do.
We got a 60, and THESE are our choices?!
"Non-villainous" is quite a bit more permissive than "heroic". We may be able to swing a +5 for Janna studying the book she stole.

Well this turn went pretty well, though it's mildly grating that we're gonna lose the OS and that half our actions just unlocked more actions, but overall-

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

We've lost LOVEMUFFIN haven't we?

Everybody I just had an idea, let's use the Deviled-Egg-Inator on Max. Let him vent out all those negative feelings.
Let's not alter the minds of our employees, that kind of thing would have us practically blacklisted. Nobody sane wants to work for someone would alter their morality on a whim.

Besides, the victim is random.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

Actually, wait a minute.
The Deviled-Egg-Inator: One random, non-villainous hero turns mustache-twirlingly evil for the next turn, gaining +5 to rolls on anything they would consider evil and -10 to anything that they consider good.
When I first read over this, I assumed that the potential targets would be those who were heroic in nature, like Hego. But rereading it, it could be damn-near ANYONE.
The only Heroes we have that wouldn't be selected (that I can tell, anyway) are Technor, Jumba, Lizzy(?) Tobe(?) Kitsune, and Malf. There's LOVEMUFFIN too, I guess, but let's face it they're done.

It's kind of a moot point, though. WE CAN'T PICK THIS INATOR.

1. If word gets out that we altered the morals of one of our employees, even temporarily, we can kiss most of our PR goodbye, to say NOTHING of what it would do to the loyalty of our Heroes.

2. If it lands on Hego it turns a 60% chance of success into a 50%. I ain't risking it.

Along with her Non-Practicing Practitioner Trait, that's a +10.

We could also make her summon a demon (She know its evil, she just doesn't care about it), giving her a +32 (Which is probably higher thanks to her training).

We can also give the +5 to Kitsune and then assault that stupid bird.

Edit: Fuck, its random? Dang it!

Just wait for Temujin to finish studying, digitalize him with some dinosaurs, and in less than two turns he should have everything under control.
Sounds like a good idea. the MCP has good learning, stewardship, and possibly intrigue, but it has to be weak SOMEWHERE. Martial is probably their weakness. And I'm looking forwards to unleashing him one someone.

Regarding Inators, I'll wait until MiH tells us what the benefit of moving the farm will be, but I'm leaning towards the Egg.

Guys... I just had an idea of something we could do to hurt the MCP.

We make a program meant to attack and ENCOM and free programs trapped within.

The Kernel-Lumper's probably gonna get ya

For the first, we can ask C-Moon, but I suspect it'll be played out as just another random thing that happened, not a deliberate thing.

Second, for Hego, it applies post roll, so it'd only turn an 81 into a 71, if i

I'd be surprised if it doesn't have really good Martial within cyberspace. Its weakness is that it neglects meatspace.
I was assuming the +/-40 would come after all the other modifiers would be taken into account.
That's still something like a one in twenty chance of him being picked and a ten percent chance of it mattering, for a total of a half a percent chance of Hego getting screwed by the Inator. I'll take those odds over definitely having to spend income and a Stewardship action.

[X][Occult] Study Dance Magic (Juniper) (CoS: ???, but probably quite high)
DC 80 (Reduced by XP)
76+4+0+15=95
Success
Can I just say I'm so happy we hit this.

That dc was MUCH higher than I anticipated and if we failed it we might not have tried again with a character with no occult score.

That would be heart breaking for juniper. This was one of the main reasons we got her.
I am wondering about that +25 though. Bonkers being cooperative, or Phantom Blot helping Doom along into oblivion?

Bonus for having a Talisman appropriate to the task assigned to him. Might even talk to hawks ghost or something. He died in a haunted tower.

I would be careful about assuming that. The MCP is incredibly powerful and has managed to fight King Candy this entire time. Who, I must remind everyone, is pretty damn good at Martial.

Well...I guess the good.news is we've got some progress done on important stuff. Looks like we're finals losing Lovemuffin though. Too bad, that extra action was very handy while it lasted. Also, Alan, I realize you're doing your best, but we have enemy action targeting our OS. We really need yo to.get the lead out on fixing it.

Hmm...

Could we get a list of what actions each company would be willing to collaborate with us on?

Maybe cyber security would be one of them.
Depending on how this goes we should give the OWCA a base, Doof even mentioned how he actually seems to enjoy being around them!

My only concern is the cat recruits they've been getting and a certain agent K...
