I dunno, the vote's 17-21 for Kirrahe-not!Kirrahe. It's not super close but it's pretty close by SV quest vote standards.

Davids fuck-ups/explicit defeats tend to happened whenever he either decides to go against his rules after all (especially the one about "revenge being a suckers game") or gets WAY too cocky (like with Thailog...seriously, creating someone that is as strong as your nemesis and as smart as you while laking the positive traits of either HAD to backfire on him hard-8,

So yeah, while Xanatos is extremly smart, sometimes despite or even because of that he fucks up in an all-too-human fashion.
