Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

By word of our Lord, the FTL ramming looks to outside observers like an annihilation effect.
That actually makes sense. Unless there was some really precise equipment present (enough to notice light delay being lower with such a short distance), it will be hard to distinguish that 'FTL' happened, and what did transpire can be described as large scale deformation of space-time (which makes any measurements a mute point).

P.S. ME FTL is problematic to use for 'head on ramming'. ME ships do not gain additional energy when going FTL or using ME field. They reduce mass to go FTL yet they specifically need to accelerate via conventional thrust and they have as much energy as they poured into acceleration/velocity. All the speed, but no kinetic punch (comparatively to the speed). However ME ships can potentially work as one large disruptor missile, making suicide-ram into an 'annihilation effect'.

God, there's no way people are going to be able to undersell him. So many eyewitnesses along with a fight streamed to the world.
Nobody knows what truly transpired. All PRT needs is a solidly-sounding theory to declare as 'official' and some media work. As it was pointed out before: Joe is an out of context problem. People are going to end up assuming wrong things either way, if PRT decides to 'undersell' Apeiron, PR will just need to add some direction to the wild speculation.

They wouldn't think it would be on demand, they would put limits on it, like the destruction of his power armor, which he has unlimited access to those, they are likely to try undersell him as not to cause panic or look incompetent.
With messages like 'dozen Apeiron robots all over the city'? It's hardly a limit when Apeiron seemingly has enough armors to de-cape a gang. It's more likely that people will be praying for Apeiron not to turn that into even more expendable missile and not to treat his robots as expendable as he seems to treat them.

They might realise thing later on with analysis, but for the time being they will work under the impression that Joe can flick a switch if he is pushed too far and it will turn ugly. Which is basically the same as saying he is off limits.

If they ever realise it's FTL they will probably be a bit more scared but the response will be the same. So it makes no difference. Because if he goes FTL at the ground level it might as well be an annihilation fact to a large area.

It would work from a thematic standpoint as the rules agree to it, but from a Star Wars lore perspective it won't. The Force in Star Wars is an energy field which permeates the Galaxy as the entire galaxy is bound by the Cosmic Force. Outside the Galaxy one can only access the Living Force generated by individual lifeforms. Since there is no Cosmic Force in the Milky Way the Force would only allow him to perform minor feats through his own energy.
To be fair, Joe's own "energy" doesn't usually tend to create "minor" effects. Not after some tech-enhanced training at least.

Effect like the Siberian or Flechette. Absolute destruction/deletion.
I think he meant from a visual perspective. Those two may both be annualization effect, but they do look different from each other and from the motorcycle.

I'm honestly not sure if they'd react worse to a tinker that can make FTL capable craft or to a tinker that can make an annihilator effect capable of killing Lung on demand?
Definitely the first. The first on means that he could build a base on Mars and hold the earth hostage lest he bombard them with array of FTL motorcycles that would shatter the planet. Lung is small potatoes compared to that. I mean considering how much else Apeiron has going for him, what is one more super weapon?

Undersell him.

The PRT can try but it is a fool's errand at best. They'll still try of course but it won't last.
A fool's errand, you do know who we are talking about, other prt departments are looking at them as if they are incompetent.
I mean if he could do it on demand, why did he go through all that fight just to sucker punch him at the end? The sheer effort he went through before using it shows that there is a limit to the weapon, even if only collateral damage. Anything worth using it on would probably be something they want to kill anyway or smart enough to stay in the city.

To look cool/show off.

People see how stylish Apeiron makes himself everytime and may conclude that he deliberately made Lung go full power so he could take him down at his best for rep. Also to flex his power.
Do note though that Joe himself told Dragon that the goal of sending him to the stratosphere first was only to limit the collateral damage. Given that the shockwave reached them and had enough force to drive them both into the water soon after, it was telling enough why he decided that it was a necessary option.

They might to try and downplay him, but in the same time he'll be treated with kid gloves. You wouldn't want to get on the bad side of someone with that weapon.

Hey y'all!
It's me, resident Omake Person. Except not! Knaka currently beats me by seven omakes, and I'm out of ideas atm.
Give me idea's of techbases that aren't available to Joe that you would love to see him get access to!
I'll write it all down, and make a bunch of omakes out of it!
Then I can be crowned as the Omake Enby of BCF!
(also thread is getting boring, get some life back up in this place!!!)

Honestly, I would like to see Joe work with Subnautica-style building tools. Tech-wise, what Subnautica has isn't that big, but the building tools? It's basically his omnitool, but with the creations being the size of buildings and complete rocket ships. True, at this point he can probably do something similar with alchemy, but unlike alchemy he can easily scale it up to fabricating an entire city.

How about the most coolest and over the top mechas I know? The warhammer 40k titans! The god machines! Or I don't know, maybe Apeiron Primarch project, when he create 20 demigods.
It's stupid but could be fun

I mean Joe has access to 40k tech, I'm looking for new techbases, but one where he builds the ultimate mecha is not a bad idea! thanks!

Can you write something based off my previous idea about a Post Alt-Golden Morning where Apeiron is dropped into the Dresden Files and the shockwaves that causes? Or just any other setting for him to be an OCP?

I envision that a hypothetical Golden Morning for this story would rip and tear so many holes and tunnels in reality that not only will Parahumans spread throughout the network of worlds that Scion and Eden allowed access to but also outside the network to prohibited worlds that were previously sealed off.

Also I like to imagine that prior to the big fight with Scion, Apeiron created enough artifacts and other gear that all Parahumans have the Endbringer/Proto-Titan treatment (full access to their powers, full control of their faculties instead of the Shards, bodies that are the next best thing to invulnerable due to now being akin to Endbringers) and Shards without users (either dead or not yet connected) going full Titan but are puppeted by an unleashed (and sane) Khepri.

Would be cool to see the Parahuman army being supported by Apeiron-created god-machines and other creations. Basically go full Hindu mythology against Scion.

How about Joe getting the ability to create Destiny Tech. A lot of it is hand wavy magic, but specifically the ability to resurrect the fallen into warriors to defend mankind. Imagine how his 1st meeting with cauldron/the triumvirate would go down if he strode in with a revived Hero by his side!

I'll probably do something with this once my sprint is done, this would be a monster of an omake.

Not too familiar with the setting but that sounds amazing and I shall look into it!

Her fingers shook slightly as she unlocked her phone and loaded the stream. The video showed a split screen. On one side was Bakuda, terrifying as ever and somehow completely healed from her injuries. The bomb tinker was perching on a throne in a carefully framed shot with a completely redesigned costume. Seriously redesigned. Sharp angles, elaborate ornamentation, and a military cut complimented her new gas mask, some frighteningly compact design compared to her old model. She looked like a completely different cape. A more professional cape.

On the other screen was Apeiron. Once again, he had updated his costume. The visor was now clearly tinker tech in place of its former metal slats. It complimented a looser hood on the cowl that widened his silhouette, which was framed dramatically against the late afternoon sky. The cut of the rest of his costume had been revised, now sharper in a way that forcibly dragged the eye along the contours created by the seams and the pose of his body. Brilliant white gloves created a sharp contrast with the darker hues of his outfit, and paired with a billowing white cape.

It was hard to nail down exactly which aspect of it was most striking, but the parts came together with a presence that had an almost physical weight. Everything about the framing of the scene was imposing when taken individually, but combined it was almost overwhelming.

She thought about her own costume stuffed in her backpack and largely unchanged for years. It never seemed like it needed updating, but that was before there was a cape fashion war happening on top of a city-wide crisis.
After reading this section of the previous chapter I wonder if there is will actually be a "Cape Fashion War" like Victoria mentioned. One where the Capes from all factions of Brockton Bay redesign/ restyle their costumes to meet the standard that is being set.

My reasoning is that both Apeiron and the ABB have set a standard for costumes that make them look powerful, professional, fashionable, and competent. If any other Cape were to stand beside them then the public at large would find them... lacking.

This is important because how a costume looks will define how others will treat them, especially when they are being compared to Apeiron's costume.

A Cape's costume isn't just about showing everyone that they're a Hero/ Villain/ Rogue, but a statement about the power they can bring to bear, about the resources that they can draw from, about how others should see them, and about the presence they project just by wearing it.

If a Cape has a professionally tailored costume that looks stylish then people will treat them seriously and assume that they know what they're doing. That they have the training and the resources necessary to accomplish the task before them.

However, if a Cape is wearing an ill-fitting costume that looks like something that was bought at a thrift store then people won't treat them seriously and will assume that they're new, an amateur that can't do anything.

The other factions of Brockton Bay may have to update/ upgrade their costume just to ensure that they don't look poor & incompetent by comparison. After all, if an Independent (possibly villainous) Rogue has a better-looking costume compared to the vast organizations that are the Protectorate or the E88, then what does that say about them?

That plotline would also give Garment & Parian a reason to interact. They could work together or compete for the contract of designing & making the Protectorate's & the Ward's new costumes.

Except the Merchants, as they won't care.

They are the definition of Lacking.
Lacking in Style, funds, image, and human decency.

He got the memories of a Jedi Master or the equivalent of a Darth with all the skill and force from Star Wars. Especially with the lightsaber.

Battle Action Harem Highschool Side Character Quest. A type of battle suit armor robot. Think Knight Run / Humanoid Mecha 2-3 meters height.

Post-leviathan. Fixing up the city as a request from the Mayor.

Neon Genesis Evangelion. Giant mecha. More to be specific their AT field.

Joe has finally cracked automated factory with Factorio to sell healing to the PRT. Aisha stumbles on him when he's done to see his monstrosity.

Joe gets Wallpaper Engine that automatically selects a fitting background & music for him when he's in combat.

Joe's clones has decided to give out auras to many normal humans. The aftermath. The local PRT freak out because either he's a Mad Scientist that goes out with a bang every second now or he was actually Teacher 2.0 all along.

Joe getting that perk that can give Esper training to others. The aftermath. (A Certain Scientific Railgun)

Joe getting confused when he gets Stardew Valley but decides to roll with it since he decided to take a break. Cape geeks posts Apeiron walking around with farming tools.

I decided to brainstorm and just wrote everything I got. Not necessery great ones but just everything. Thanks.
