According to the multiverse theory, where universes might exist where even basic laws of physics are different, there might be in fact a 7 somewhere there. Hell, for someone from a different universe, that 7 might look like, and function the same way as 1 does.

Sure, but the infinite isn't the premise here. It's the possible explanation for why you have suddenly found yourself neck deep in a 7.
By that token you can also have 9^9 or just 3 universes one of which happens to be 7. Having an infinite set is only relevant narratively as people stop considering details when faced with infinity.

Don't forget, there are universes out there where 7 doesn't exist, and some other symbol/word are used to represent that specific qty.

A universe/reality being "fictional" is a matter of perspective. From our perspective, Worm is fictional, it will never interact with us. Does this mean that in the infinity that is existence that the premise of Worm doesn't play out to a T, characters, stupid setting and all? Who knows? We never will be able to. And who the fuck cares?
