From the Chinese Mythology Jumpchain:

[400] From Clay and Dirt

The goddess Nuwa was renowned and respected for her creation of mankind. Her craftsmanship is second to none; repairing the sky and the pillars of heaven and creating life from dirt and clay. You too possess her divine skill, able to craft intelligent life from seemingly worthless material, and creating magical items able to perform great feats, so long as you have the ingredients for them. The powers of the items you create are only limited by your imagination; whether they're gems that control the weather, stones that repair the sky itself or great pillars able to hold up heaven, few things are out of reach.

I would really like to see it in the fic

Huh, Nanoha is excluded. That's disappointing.

It is worth noting lord didn't make v1 of the forge it is a list of crafting perks from across jumpchain compiled in something like 2014 and put on github iirc with the intent of it being someone wanting a crafting chain goes through them. Lord however is the one who came up with the whole weight of the quill thing for his story which the compiler has apparently declared they hate it being used that way.

For the excluded works there are really 2 categories: those not in v1 and those lord is unfamiliar with. Lord is interested in how perks combine and high lv crafting which combined with how Joe counts as a native for the verse meaning he can become things like a newtype if he gets to space means Lord is unwilling to use anything from a verse he doesn't know even if the perk doesn't require knowing the verse because of what it is e.g. a building speed booster.

To date the best that's been done with talking him into checking out specific verses when he had time to look into them was Asura's Wrath because of it's nature as being a game where you just press buttons during cinematics at the right time meaning he was willing to watch a Let's Play instead of playing it himself which was helped by it adding multiple perks, the authour of the doc being an active reader and it being very short.

* heavy is the quill as a concept is from the complications section of the alt-chain supplement, however LordRoustabout is the one who came up with using this concept in the format of this story i.e. a user stays in their native verse and receives perks from the Celestial Forge pastebin and gaining points based off of the heavy is the quill complication (clarifying)

Less important question but this has been on my mind since I saw it. Garment Gloves in the CF doc and as well in her introductory chapter, is noted as being from the setting of "Dodgeball"... what the hell does that mean? Like, the movie with Ben Stiller, that Dodgeball? Is there some other property that I'm missing? Cuz I can't figure it out!

Yes, it does.

Edited.

It's the movie.
