    • I had very much hoped to avoid another delay, but I'm going to have to push the next chapter by a week. This has been a hectic time of year which hasn't left me with much time to focus on the story. The next chapter is also taking more work than I expected and I would prefer to give it the attention it needs rather than cut it short. I apologize for the frequency of these delays, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to get my schedule back on track over the holidays.

    • I have been out sick for most of the past week which, as you'd imagine, hasn't been great for my writing schedule. Fortunately I am on the mend and working to get the next chapter finished. Unfortunately, I am going to have to push the release by another day to give me time to wrap things up. Sorry for the additional delay, but there has been a lot for me to deal with recently.

    • I will be taking another week to recover from the holidays and to get the next chapter ready. My apologies for the delay, but it has been a busy time of year and I wasn't able to find time to write with everything else that has been going on. I'm hoping to be able to reduce these delays in the coming year, and hope everyone was able to have a good holiday season.

    • I've been fighting a cold for the last few days, so unfortunately the chapter isn't going to be ready tonight. I should be able to have it ready with an extra day of work, so I'm only announcing a 24 hour delay. I would like to sincerely apologize for the frequency of recent delays. This has been something of a rough season and I'm hoping things will turn around to let me get back on a consistent schedule.

    • I am swamped at work at the moment so unfortunately I won't be able to get this week's chapter finished on time. I'm going to have to take a week's delay to get everything squared away, both at work and for the next chapter. My apologies for the recent delays. I am hoping to be able to hold to my schedule better going forward, but invariably some things will be out of my control.

    • Recovering from the flu took longer than I would have liked and with everything else I had to catch up on after being out sick I wasn't able to finish the chapter for this week. I'm going to take a week's delay to fully recover and get caught up on my writing. My apologies for the frequent delays for recent chapters. I'm hoping to get back to the usual schedule soon, but I have to work around the time available to me and the delays have been due to events that have been beyond my control.
