Ok this might sound a bit off topic but is anyone else feeling abit like wanting another chapter of Joe in Girl Genius?
I'm not as excited about the next chapter as it will be just Jozef getting used to Beetleburg, maybe panic a bit as reality of his situation settles, if we luckily interact some more with Clays, but nothing much in general unless some power roll brings in some chaos.
On the other hand, very much excited about the story in general, as characters and world of Europa are something else. Baron alone deserves at least an interlude and Jozef's interactions with him can go about dozens of ways, from Baron convincing Duris to work together to capture Other, to conflict born of misunderstandings and distrust like with Agatha, to just genuine conflict of world-views as Joe takes a stand against Barons methods, and more. Although that last one is least likely, as Joe at least on some level understands some need of horrible methods to make the world less horrible. He is from Worm after all.
But can't help but wonder how would Baron react to someone powerful with Heterodyne Boys' sense of right but also some pragmatic reasonability appearing. You know, someone like that other than Agatha, as his reaction to her is tainted by Other suspicions and her bloodlines' expectations.
Also, funny thought, Joe will be one of the few people to see Gil's plane prototype and get excited, instead of confused by or terrified of heavier-than-air aircraft. Well, depending on rolls he might have a better thing in his Workshop, but still, that's might be the very first aeroplane in that world, that counts for something.
