Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

That was thoroughly enjoyable. It's always entertaining to see Monkey Metal's actions and their impact from an outsider perspective.

The Grimmderp/dark tried with that agent and so on. But, yeah casual, but watchful, Celestial Forge is too big of a task^^. get dunked on evil bird/'angel' (if you 'helped' here).

[For the whole chapter]. I glad things went so well and they had the chance of enjoy part of the bullshit that is this team :D

[For the end part].
Oh, so strong AI (or equivalent) intelligences adjusted just a little bit the initial selection? Matrix probably is so smug about his computer design then^^ (and smug in general about the whole thing :D ).

I guess survey is smug about the data she shared/got and fleet probably is being smug about 'keep it simple' philosophy if they added to these ideas. the clones too since I will assume this was part of the reason the garden of eden creation kit could mass produced that fast (without the Gorila of OP iron) :D

Joe really just said, "Hey, hand me that paper clip and give me a second, I'm going to make something really neat." And then just made a pocket lighter/lamp/brazier/lantern.

Like, even ignoring the clairvoyance, that's just hilarious to me.

With just a box of scraps, I think Aperion can do what the GECK did this chapter faster by hand!

This was a great chapter to see the Matrix stepping forward and show some personality. I love the pride in competence and exceeding expectations. I'm curious about what books they provided and why.

Tetra is the Cheshire Cat on speed crammed into a loli package. I love to compare/contrast her with Survey.

I enjoyed the fire discussion. Felt like something from the Dresden Files.

Is Armstrong's brazier soul-bound or otherwise protected from theft?

Nice callback to the ABB's earlier victims. Adds to the continuity to the story while simultaneously refreshing my memory. P

Aisha hasn't been able to act as a superhero in the real world much yet. I'm guessing that the S9 attack (or follow-up) will be her first big active appearance. After being the uber-scary Stranger for two weeks it will be amusing to see how everyone reacts to her being the anti-Jack Slash.

I have to say, I am REALLY looking forward to the meeting of the Directors, the weekly debrief, when Costa-Brown asks for a report on the hundreds of people with bombs in their heads, and how the preparations for the hundreds of delicate surgeries, of unstable tinkertech explosives are going. With everyone glad it isn't them who has to handle the highly delicate situation of the language barrier and so on....

And Armstrong is just going to be "handled it. Everyone who wants to be is safe, the base has been landscaped and has better facilities and the leaks have been handled. It was a busy afternoon"

Mater generation technology wasn't unheard of,

handling their supply concerns to issuing the G.E.C.K.. That was most definitely not the case.
G.E.C.K. That

Another lovely chapter/small novella lands… poor Armstrong, they're going to put him in master/stranger confinement until he's eighty after this (you accepted what from who? And discovered what about his powers? Yet you didn't immediately report this?). Maybe longer if they figure out Proto Aima's real power. Well, her real secondary power anyway. Looking forward to them showing off her primary power for the world. Also, the kid crushing on the genki teen superheroine was low key adorable.

assuming Apeiron was correct about the devices being diffused.
Defused
Michael Won was disrupted when attempting a trade and his bomb was detonated.
Disrupted should probably be distracted.
the primal god kind of technology?
God-king?
'Thank you for making me a tinker four and shaker seven'
Thinker four, unless you're counting the GECK? But surely that would be the shaker rating…

"Yeah, it's going." He responds.

I like how Armstrong basically just gives up and accepts the crazy 🤣

"Sir! Apeiron has eliminated the S9!"

"Roll with it"

"Sir! Sir! The Endbringers have been turned into kittens!"

muscle twitch "Roll with it"

"Sir! Apeiron has created a second sun because the old one wasn't quote groovy enough end-quote!"

head buried in hands "ROLL. WITH. IT"

Gotta say I was kind of half expecting Survey or Lethe to step through a portal and announce that the slaughterhouse 9 had entered BB city limits. Obviously they don't need to but it's a good piece of misdirection and allow for Director Armstrong to come to the right conclusions from the wrong direction (again) as Joe says something like "right, we need to deal with this" and steps through the portal.
